I’m a big fan of Jericho and McRaney’s roll. However, he had what might be one of the best lines in all of the West Wing with his guest performance. Meeting with Leo (John Spence) and discussing a war crimes treaty at the UN, McRaney says to Leo, “All wars are crimes.” Still gives me goosebumps.

I was a kid and watched S&S with my dad, great show... But Deadwood, which I refused to watch until after it was over... When I finally got hooked and realized it was legit art... (OKAY enough ellipses) I still steal the line from Gerald McRaney when EB Farnum introduces himself and he says, "This fellow looks like he stepped out of a specimen box." Fantastic! One of the top 10 lines in the entire show. God bless the writer and GM for the perfect delivery. God I miss legit art cinema.
