Do you remember about how many miles you got out of your transmission? What it cost to replace and what happened to it? Thanks for sharing, your videos are always so informative.

It was replaced at 760k it had 20 miles on it when I bought the truck, the high low splitter was acting up so he just replaced the transmission and clutch so he knew it would be good when he sold the truck…about $6000 for the transmission and clutch labor is usually 6-8 hrs

Looking good! I have a box of goodies like you, AND I kept a piston and liner. There's a reason your ISX and mine lasted 1M miles. The way they build them now it's just not going to happen. Mine has 2 cams, and they were never updated and worn so new cams and followers. Taking it back Monday for it's 50K valve adjustment.

Yes mine was a 2000 bought new. Has 1,846,000 now. Has been a good engine. Still has the same injector cam. Just replaced injectors when I rebuilt it last may. They were originals. Sounds like you had good luck with yours. Take care.

I drove east on I-40 from Ft. Smith on Friday. The wind was awful, especially the eastern half of Arkansas with all the flat farmland. I was glad to have 46K in the trailer to help keep the rubber on the road!

Yes were hoping to hear from you. Mine was 30,000 last may. Mine was an old isx 2000model. I had a 1,350,000 on a Rebuild. You got a Lot more done then I did. It had a valve spring break then hit piston off coarse. First trip couldn’t build turbo pressure. They didn’t check turbo. I had to put a new holset turbo. For 2600. Wasn’t a rebuild. So that brought my cost to about 33,000. Would never recommend Peterbilt zanesville Ohio. Glad you’re running again. I was down a month also. I know I’ve told you about this before. Take care. Best of luck.
