I would have put Aluminum Sheeting on the Underside of the Flooring to keep Rodents and Opossums and Other Critters from Chewing their way in through the Floor like the do with mine.

Looking amazing. Working on painting the screw cover on my 90's Aluma-Lite. Last thing she really needs. oh wait still need to replace the Blade Seal on the toilet. Any reason ou didn't put flooring down before putting the box back on?

I debated it and probably should have! The new ply (3/4”) was 1/8” thicker than the old and I couldn’t get the stuff I wanted in 5/8”. I was worried adding another layer of material would push it too far out of alignment.

Its coming together 😅 I would like to tell you that you have it almost done but I'd be lying... next wheel wells to close it up, nothing worse than hornets and other pests to mess up what you have completed. Then its time to figure where you want for what you want, many things to consider, whether or not your traveling with kids? running water? heat? air conditioning? all the time consuming stuff... from my experience I will say that I will be running my electrical wires in conduit between the rodents and chafing from bouncing from going down the road its been a nightmare trying to pull new wires through... I have a feeling that I will be separating the body from frame too, I don't think my frame is quite as bad as yours was but I know my floor is shot... can't wait to see more👍

Ohhh man, don't be a downer...lol! Personally, I am enjoying this build. Especially because he's doing it right, not cutting any corners. Give the guy a chance, he'll get there. Then he and his family can enjoy a safe camper and make many memories.

I agree he is doing a great job on this resto and not being a downer just saying that if you are taking on this big of a project do things now to make things easier later on.... my 1,500$ 73' Holiday Rambler has been a project going on 10 years and I still need to gut it and replace the floors, kind of funny but I think mine was used for target practice fortunately they didn't brake any of the glass.

It’s a never ending list! As much as I want it to be done I’m learning to enjoy the process!
