@@tacwac Nice one, but can't beat its introduction to the game. It absolutely dominated Air battle. Shrafir loadout, gentle fast climb to above their climbing team, followed by a 2-3 kills cannonball-pass on their 6, and run past the survivors like a bat out of hell, and watch the friendly team mopping up the chaos thereby created... Those were the days...
Playing in squadrons of 2-3 planes, you could decimate the enemy team within 2 minutes of the match start. Not proud of it, but it was pretty funny when it worked as planned.
Too bad the poor Vautour has been power-creeped to near uselessness. :(
This is essentially how one of my latest Vautour videos went; on full fighter configuration on first match of the video, it went two kills with no problem and a third later on.
Unfortunately yes it does get absolutely curbstomped nowadays but at least it's fun when you get a good matchup

Hi there. This is the Vautour IIA IDF/AF. While originally found in the French tree as a premium, it was removed from sale. You'll find other versions of the Vautour in France (Vautour IIA, IIB, IIN (late)) and Israel (Vautour IIA, IIN)

I guess? France is a tiring tech tree, but you can grind a good load of stuff before you either run out of premium account time or get bored of the premiums.

now that they removed the airspawn to tier 6 attackers and bombers is it better than it was previously? i remember playing it last year for the summer event and it was the saddest thing ever
If you know what you're doing in an uptier then you have every advantage in the first 2 minutes of the match, after that you're a flying anvil

Nowadays, the Vautour is an absolute pain to play, but with enough practice it can at least be tolerable and at best be an absolute meme. Not worth it if you plan to use it for fun, which is pretty much why I have it now that I'm done the French tree
With war thunders economy turning to shit, the best you can do is meme with it. If you run into anything with an aim-9G, you're going to have a bad time. I say this as an avid Vautour enjoyer who bought both French premium vautours and still has fun trying to kill enemy planes with bombs.

So fun fact! BUY THE VANTOUR 2N it's a rank 5 that is now the only plane that gets an air spawn pretty much! Has good nose authority to!

Go to the "Customization" tab when selecting a vehicle, from there you can find the Finnish Air Force Roundel in "Roundels and Insignias" and the Finnish flag in "World flags".
They've added some Finnish vehicles to the Swedish tech tree.

I don't get why ppl keeps F86 under 600kph IAS
Depends on the F-86, Vautour can do .9 mach with little problem at full output and the F-86 in the clip was on slight climb, so he wasn't able to hit his highest speed
@@tacwac F86 is far superior at high IAS low alt (below 1500m)
MACH speed depends on altitude and humidity
They're almost equal on the stat cards. F-86A-5 goes 1093 km/h max, Vautour IIA IDF/AF goes 1100 km/h max. The only thing that justifies him being this slow is climbing or the fact that this was early game
The sounds sound realistic I never heard that sound and I been playing war thunder for 3 years
The DEFA gun sounds were patched out a bit ago and engine sounds were changed with the addition of Winged Lions, so the sounds in this video aren't really able to be used anymore unless someone feels like modding the game

The french premium last I checked only has a 4,900 SL repair cost. That's nothing if you just get a base

Zero idea. i use the IIB for aerobatics and the IIA I've never even used up until recently and I still can't recall a repair. I think the IIN is relatively cheap in Israel.
