  • Decorate your bathrooms or night stand with these seasonal "Reversible Tissue Box Covers". You can make them for all the holidays, and because they are reversible, you only have to make one for two holidays. They are easy to make with a couple of fat quarters and some fusible interfacing. They make nice gifts at the holidays or birthdays. You can also make some with your favorite sports team logos. #Jadda's Craft Cottage #Easy Crafts

    I made this version with the grommet, seen many versions this one is the best no matter what type of opening the box has, mine was rectangular. I made it with thick felt for my car. Came out perfect

      @@jaddascraftcottage6335 yes I need tissues in my car because I have allergies, and I use many, but I have no place to put a rectangular box, I live in Italy and the square box is hard to find and even costs more, why I have no clue, so I added a strap that I sewed in the seams and put it over the head rest of the passenger's side, I always drive alone even if I have a passenger it can always be shifted to the back of the seat. The opening is an oval slit, but the tissues pass through the grommet with no problem. Your tutorial is the best one out there and I have seen many.

    I am finding it difficult to make a pattern. My tissue box is not square, so this has has thrown me. I think it is a fabulous pattern and will keep trying.

      Is the tissue box off by a half inch? I have noticed some boxes are a little larger on one side. I would make the pattern to fit the larger size. It may not be snug on your box, but it should fit. Good luck!!

      @@jaddascraftcottage6335 please do, would love to make several for Christmas gifts, but most of my relatives use the larger boxes, the rectangle size. I do love this and will be making several for myself, I use the square box 😁 new subscriber

    How can i add elastic on the bottom?

    • @jaddascraftcottage6335
      @jaddascraftcottage6335  2 месяца назад

      Thank you for your comment.
      If you want the elastic snug, I would measure the elastic about the width of the box, maybe add 1/2 inch to it.
      When you are doing the top stitch at the bottom, then you can tuck it between the two fabrics.
      I hope that works out for you.
