First comment. I remember we had that Nintendo Donkey Kong II you showed first in the video when I was a kid. And I remember my father and big brother actually got into a fight because my brother claimed he got a higher score than my father. My father got so angry he pushed the chair my brother was sitting in against the wall. LOL
Amazing. I used to open my game and watch games to reverse the polarisation glass. The game's visuals would be inverted. I immediately thought of that when you opened the game up.
Hi i have this exactly !!works ok both screens as i can see the ball and the gorilla moving on But does not have the aluminium plate at the left side Do you know if i can find one? Or a way to replace?.
I was wondering if there are differences between polarizers? And which one do I need for this particular game? I don't seem to succeed in getting the right one.
How'd you get everything to stay in place when you were putting the screws into the back of the motherboard? You didn't show what you did. it was just a jump cut to you putting in the last couple of screws...
If the black objects(moving dots) appears unclear(brighter) than before what shell I do? Is cleaning filter could fix this problem? Thanks for the great video!
The images on my game are very faint. Apparently one can fix it by replacing the polariser foil. Do you know which kind of foil would be suitable for that?
Love your videos keeping going
Thanks! This is an old one :)
This Donkey kong game was the first I played back in 1980. Impossible to forget 🙂

What did you do to make the lower screen to appear?

Hehe, good story. I had Donkey Kong II (the one in the video) as a kid. I used to lend it out to the big boys at school for money. :-)

The polarizer can be damaged by uv light, if it's used outddors (I heard) Replacing it, should do the trick.
