FIRST REACTIONS on the REFRESHED SKYRUSH at Hersheypark

Kaylee and I share our first rider reactions on the new and improved Skyrush at Hersheypark. Skyrush over the off-season got brand new trains for better comfort, along with a refreshed look in the station and some added audio and light effects to enhance the experience. We also checked out the new trains on Comet.

Valleyfair did take out their Chickies and Pete's. I don't know if Dorney's previous owners had been brokering a deal with Chickies and Pete's around the same time as the sale or already had it and got the rights to use it that way. The original location is on the flagship trolleybus, or Trackless Trolley as we say in Philly, route-the 66. They actually have full restaurants in Reno, Vegas, and at Bally's in Kansas City (which is served by the same bus as Worlds of Fun, which was called the Casino Crusier at one point)

The cheese steak place used to be a mom and pop place in Philadelphia and then blew up because of an early man vs food episode as they had some sort of 5lb cheese steak challenge. They then expanded and are now around Philadelphia, in airports in PA, and at Hersheypark

Ah okay. I was able to fond more about it too. It's a cool story and the food was quite good too.
