    Turkish tea or “cay” has a significant place in Turkish people’s life and Turkish culture with its strong black tea aroma. You can find Turkish tea ready in every household at any time of the day, especially at breakfast time. Turkish tea is complimentary for the delicious Turkish breakfast with various assortments like olives, cheese, egg, jams, cucumbers, tomatoes, and much more food. The tea itself represents friendship and refusing the tea glass is not acceptable in the culture. The special brewing technique makes Turkish tea different from other tea flavors.
    Turkish people believe that brewing the tea leaves in a tea maker has a richer taste and aroma than tea bags. Here are the easy steps to make the traditional Turkish Tea;
    1- Fill the bottom part of the tea maker with water and switch down to start boiling the water. In order to have a rich aroma boil the water 2 or 3 times.
    2- When the water is ready, now it is time to brew the tea leaves. The second tip for the perfect Turkish tea is to mix the tea leaves with these two different packages. For 4 people serving, put 3 tablespoons of black tea leaves.
    3- Put the tea mix into the filter of the tea kettle and put the boiled water from the kettle to the filter on the top. Stop pouring when ¾ the tea kettle is filled with water.
    4- Also, put water in a kettle until the water reaches the max line again.
    5-For the perfect Turkish tea, wait for 20 minutes for the tea to brew. The last tip is, while you are waiting for the tea to brew, again boil the water in the kettle one to two times. This will help the perfect taste and color.
    The traditional way of brewing and serving Turkish tea is a ritual where you need tulip-shaped Turkish tea glasses, teaspoons, small plates where you put the tea glass, and a tray.
    Now it is time to enjoy your perfect Turkish Tea with a delicious Turkish breakfast.

    Really very good tutorial. Bravo. But there is a big mistake. You put the tea in teapot first then you pored hot water on the tea. It is a big mistake. You must put tea into hot water. Don't pour water on tea, put tea on hot water... You don't need to boil water two or three times. Once is enough.

    • @ismata3274
      @ismata3274 2 года назад +3

      And the water must be calmed down a bit, not harshly boiling to not boil the leaves and get a vegetable like smell. Below 100 celcius. Just wait a bit then combine the two. Otherwise, what is the need for the upper pot part if it was good for the leaves to touch boiling water? Tea leaves shouldn't be boiled, thus the upper pot. But kept very warm, thus the upper pot.
