RY3NO after the shield challenge, I see you needed some big time relief. The amount of effort you put into that shield challenge even though it wasn't even possible to fully complete.
Holy Crap! How did you manage such a difficult run without going insane?! And I thought my 100% wrench only, no pack and no damage run was hard but this.... no way am I doing this.
Jokes aside, try to do this in a normal NG (not +) with the debug code, and see If it's doable, of course you're gonna shread through enemies but ammo wise you will struggle because ryno ammo cost a lot so you're going to constantly run out of bolts, try If you want
Probably my least favorite version of the ryno, honestly. The first one had more punch despite being weaker, the second was an almost perfect jack of all trades, the fifth one was literally almost perfect, and the fourth was just this one but more consistent. And that's my main problem with it. It goes from a rocket launcher to a laser launcher to the zodiac. And as cool as the zodiac was, it was also incredibly buggy, overpriced, underpowered, and should have just stayed its own weapon. I would have much preferred if the RY3NO just stayed a rocket launcher like it's supposed to be.
Huh. Why have I never attempted to do this in all my years of playing R&C 3? Also, Nefarious sure was a bullet sponge (or, in this case, incinerating beam sponge) in NG+....
"Can You Beat Ratchet & Clank 3 With Only The RY3NO?" AKA Let's nuke everything with the RY3NO in Ratchet & Clank UYA/3 while wearing sunglasses and beat it as fast as possible
How about some basic elemental weapons only? Beat R&C 1 only with flamethrower (no upgrade), and Going Commando with tesla claw only (can upgrade, but must play in first person only, too).
I can hardly imagine the amount of therapy you went through after facing this challenge. Are you daft? I just hope your family and girlfriend manage to still recognise and accept you after the things that transpired during this run. You sir are legendary after seeing the Holoshield Glove run, but this....?
Therapy is ongoing, family is supportive but understandably strained, and girlfriend left. I'm still picking up the pieces, but I'm making my way back to a good place.
@@blastortoise I wanna say that V5 does deal the highest damage of any single shot to all enemies on-screen, but if all shots of the V4 are concentrated on a single enemy, then combined they add up to a higher damage total, if that makes sense
@@matticusomega Ahh I figured it could be something like that. One thing I remember finding interesting about V5+ is if you're close enough then the rockets will deal damage before exploding, good to know though I might not full upgrade it my next playthrough.

The R.Y.3.N.O. is the only Ratchet & Clank weapon I wish I could revert back to LV1 and keep it there. The upgrades ruin it.

Nefarious must've had RYNO Resistant chassis at the time.
It's basically zodiac, but with 50 ammo instead of 4.

Is the Ry3no weaker at V5+? It does disintegrate weak enemies but against bosses it does next to nothing compared to the V4 version.
