  • Launched at the 2023 Net Zero Festival in London, "Cities of the Future" is a news-style programme created in partnership with ITN Business, featuring interviews with RSHP architects about their roles in delivering sustainable urban projects.
    Ivan Harbour talks about the sustainability achievements of the Barangaroo South Masterplan, Australia’s first carbon neutral in operation precinct. He also chats about Crofts Street, nine two-bedroom modular townhouses designed to be carbon positive in operation.
    RSHP's sustainability group leader, Lorna Edwards, shares her experience of leading the BREEAM Outstanding-certified LSE Centre Building, explaining how the project is designed around student and staff well-being with sustainability at its core.
    Nicola Carnevali, provides insight into two public realm renewal projects in Paris: Montparnasse Masterplan and Gare de Lyon. Noting the crucial role played by these forward-thinking local Governments in supporting RSHP to deliver major low-carbon neighbourhoods.
    Explore ­the full Cities of the Future programme on the ITN Business hub (business.itn.c...) presented by TV broadcaster and anthropologist Mary-Ann Ochota. It explores how cities can decarbonise and adapt their built environment to reach net-zero targets whilst catering for the rapid urbanisation that lies ahead.
