I bet Venti is the character that haunted the Hoyoverse the most because he was so powerful in the past that they had to change a lot of things in the abyss because of him, and that's why they are so afraid of giving a buff to his abilities because otherwise he would be the Most powerful archon in the game and of all characters and would make everything too easy, in addition he would make Kazuha less used, I think I understand why they keep nerfing Venti instead of improving him, he was probably the character that scared them the most
If Venti can keep on pulling every enemy in the game and be in every meta, it would be difficult for players to think of any new team comp. It wouldn't suit well with Venti since Anemo archon doesn't want people to depend to him 😆
@@sudiptaday7875 I think the problem with Inazuma's enemies are just about the size, they released a lot of big-sized enemies back then. Venti can actually pull all of them(except rifthound) but just slower/heavier than the small enemies.
Venti is a great way to maximize your dmg with reactions. Even if he can't pull a large enemy, they still are affected by the anemo and swirl dmg. Nahida and Raiden pack the most punch in my team because venti is there to spread the reactions
He genuinely still works for so many enemies, I’ve been using him a lot more in abyss since 4.0! Not that I ever really stopped lol, he was my first 5* so even with my c6r1 Kazuha I refuse to bench Venti. He’s too special to me lol. It makes me a little sad that some players have just decided Venti isn’t good anymore and never will be. His grouping is truly a game changer when it works, and it works a LOT more than people seem to think lol

Isn't Hoyoverse on a agreement to not directly change how characters work, instead having to change the environment around them to either buff or nerf them? That's why 1.0 characters will haunt them for the rest of their life.
I think they need to buff his ult by reducing its cooldown so it can have a 100% uptime or make his cc a little more stronger since he is a archon and his damage is also quite bad but as long as his cc is good i dont care if his damage is bad.
Maybe in the future they will have artifacts, characters or weapons that has and ability to reduce cooldown. It would be nice because we can make many new team comps with it.
1:57 droplets get pulled but not disabled, same for all the mechs, you still need to look out for all their ranged and leap attacks, but they will be grouped enough to hit them with come shaped attacks easier
It's good to know that Venti's still be able to pull some(or most?) Fontaine mobs before his banner in the 2nd patch of 4.1.... this vid has solidified my decision to pull for him :'>
venti is amazing, but it does make me sad that the older archons arent as meta defining as the newer ones. like the newer ones especially have constellations that make them into a dps, but zhongli and venti dont have such constellations. just wish they were as good at making kits back then as they do now. like all zhongli does is shield, and venti is just cc, hope they wouldve had more dynamics utility and strength like raiden, nahida, and now furina with the leaks.
I think all archons are good in their own ways! For me, Venti's all constellations are very strong and make him become a complete dps character. Like in his c4 that grant him 25% anemo bonus by just pick up an elemental particle. His constellation may not be as strong as Raiden or Nahida, but I think Venti has more freedom in team comp and doesn't need any set up to reach his maximum potential. If there's anything that I want an upgrade is his animation and effect. The new characters are having fancier normal attack animation and cutscene and I wish Venti could have something like that too 😥 Of course the damage buff would be welcome too 😉
ppl who say he isnt viable now days is just trying to sound smart. You can use him anywhere, even the most recent Abyss Floors still need a character like venti to group em up
With Furina incoming on 4.2, i can say it for sure that she fits better in Archon team and also Hyperbloom Archon team. As for Zhongli, you can move him out to support other teams that have weak to no interruption resistence.
Furina doesnt add much to bloom dmg tho. Her Q and other buffs doesnt work on bloom cores☘ When you switch to heal, you lose Hydro App too. Better to keep Zhongli in your Furina-Nahida-Ei Archon team. This team is weaker than Yelan-XQ team but it works.

My dry land team in Fontaine is Yelan+Lyney+Venti+Lynette. Venti can take care of most basic mobs with a single elemental infusion (usually pyro), double anemo+Yelan E for extremely fast movement, Lyney and Lynette for Pneuma and Ousia to do all the puzzles even faster. For under water I use Lyney+Freminét+Lynette+Venti for Pneuma+Ousia and increased swim and movement speed. Got 100%+100%+82%+85%+87% completion (going south to north) so far and Fountain to lvl28. A lot of world quests still need to be done to unlock underground stuff for more completion most regular overworld stuff is done, really enjoying these teams

Venti works not only for cc but also massive aoe swirl. Don't get it wrong. Even if the enemies can't be affected by cc, the swirl still exist and you can mix element as you wishes
Ya'll, I got Venti this Wednesday and I wanna make him a dps for an extra team. For now, my team is Scara, Kazuha, Xiangling and Shinobu. I wanna make another team with him for abyss and I want him to be a dps but I'm not sure what to put on him. The only good bow I have is R3 Stringless and he has that equipped. Idk about the artifacts though.
It would be a bit hard to say because Venti can be in almost any team and there are many builds he can use. For the team, Dps Venti can go well with Faruzan. Another 2 slots can be characters that can add element to his burst from off-field. For the build, it depends on the pieces you have. It can be 2pc ATK with 2pc VV, or you can use 4pc VV if you can make nice substats for him. You can see some of my previous abyss run videos for the team idea. Please note that my Venti is C6R5. I also have C0 videos but they are a bit outdated now.
Before getting kazuha, my grouping skill was pretty decent. After getting him, it's pretty much zero now. Lol. If I pull for venti, my grouping skill will further sink 😂

Each person has a different definition of "worth". You can try him in the trial and look at characters you have to decide if it's worth for you by yourself.
i think Mihoyo have to buff Venti's vortex sucking and lifting power. He is the anemo archon afterall. Don't get me wrong. I love Kazuha and I am an anemo main including the traveler.
Yes, it's a nice team! But please note that if the enemies are too small or light, they may flew too high in Venti's burst so that Xiangling may not be able to reach them.
I havent used him in months 😔 the raw damage I get from Kazuha and the fact that he does absolutely nothing for bosses is bad (and both abyss halves have bosses now)
@@prosto_lucky kazuha has enough pull and can stagger heavy enemies unlike venti. he has enough application. he can use fav sword. doesn't matter if he's worse at those, he still does the job very well while venti remains at his niche which is useless against most enemies nowadays.
