Nice trap! Great job on that! I’m using a corral style trap on my club as the hog population started growing. Look forward to seeing more content. Liked and subscribed!
@@heathalford4721 Check the description on part 2 of the series . I have the links to everything there, including the sim I used! I payed $30 for 6 months of service
@@trapperjay9476 good deal. I watch my traps now with cell cameras and go when they catch. I’ve thought about the call to drop the door but Sometimes I’m too lazy to stay up all night waiting on pigs
Hey bro, okay so I've got the exact same GSM relay that you have. I purchased the AT&t T-Mobile prepaid sim card... Now I'm going to activate it tonight but when I asked for the device number am I going to be using the phone that I'm going to program it on or the relay board number that I'm putting it in afterwards?
@@JSROutdoors okay cool yeah I attempted that last night but it said the 15 digit GSM number was not correct even though I double checked it... I'll try again tonight with my cell and the GSM number... I spend most of my time trapping so I'm not the best at technical stuff lol. Thanks again bro.
@@trapperjay9476 No worries, I worked for Verizon at a point in time. Just to to clarify, the steps I gave you aren't the ones I followed. It's just an old trick we used when I worked in wireless! Shoot me an email if you have any other questions. jsroutdoorsetx@gmail.com

Youre awesome!! 😍
How do you know when to dial up and trigger the trap ? Do you have a remote camera that calls you when it sees movement ? If yes, did you DIY it?
I was more into that pretty face than the recipe, good job!
I love it thanks a bunch
What monitor are you using?
Where dud you get your relaese latch?
Are all the ingredients necessary or can I substitute?
Your cellular unit to send signal doesn't look like monitors that I've seen before?
Not really sure what you're asking. It's a gsm switch nothing to monitor.
How are you sending signal to actuator to release trap door?
@Gae Lewis There's 2 other videos in this series. If you want more details I suggest watching those.
Where do i find the recipe? Id like to print it
What's the name of your drop latch that release latch to trap door
It's just a gate latch, nothing special!
What are the instructions?
I add some chilli flakes to give mine an extra zing
What all did you have to do or go through to get the SIM card activated?
I activated the sim on the carrier website
If you don’t mind which carrier and what does it cost you a month? I keep hearing $5-10 but cheapest prepay plan I see is like $30

@@heathalford4721 same here but I took his advice and everything is all good now.. I have like zero technical skills lol

When you activate the sim it will have the number for the gsm switch programed to it. You can use a phone to activate it. Hope that's helps!
