- Its been a long time coming, but here's my #940sub giveaway!
Rules:
1) It closes midnight Sat 29th July 2023 and the winner drawn at random will be announced in my Sunday update 30th July.
2) You have to be over 18 to enter
3)You MUST be a subscriber to this channel ( I WILL check)
3) Uk based entries only ( sorry guys- I'm a cheapskate)
3) no cash alternatives ( see rule 3)
4) no family entries.

Hi Loz. My name is Steve. I am 56 and 4 years ago I had a very severe cerebellum stroke. This left me with poor eyesight, poor dexterity , poor balance as well as a myriad of other problems. I have been bulk watching your channel as well as Hand-i-craft. I struggle with basics but try in my workshop. I love your attitude and determination and it is keeping me going. So sorry to hear about Sue. I hope you are keeping your spirits up, I know it can't be easy. I would be lost without my wife so I do understand a little. Sorry for the long post. I love your channel and hope you can keep going. Keep a smile on your face even when things are going wrong. Love Steve.
@@stevewhitehead4057 hi steve many thanks for your kind thoughts. Yup, slowly coming to terms with bereavement, after nearly 50 years together- takes some getting used to…I watch hand-I-craft too! And nana sue had 2 strokes/hospitalisations before the end too and being fiercely independent she didn’t take kindly to not getting back to,100% after each one. 😢 had a bit of a wobble myself as just past the one year anniversary, >sin< getting there I think….. 👍

Wow Loz that's a fine bunch of tools and great for a newbie to the hobby. I would enter and copy the required text into my comment but although I am 50 plus years over the minimum age requirement, a UK resident and a subscriber (since your early days) I have a mental age of twelve so I doubt I would qualify. Happy 940 subs mate, you will break the 1K very soon. After the recent events your life will change but hopefully we will still see our favourite Mr Grumpa on our small screens. Sounds like you have a lot to keep you busy and your mind occupied, which having never been in your position I can only guess is a good thing. Stay strong mate, and wow what a fab give away. If I win I could probably collect in person and save you the postage. Only kidding mate. At least you are closer to 1000 subs than me.

hello Loz.....been looking through your interesting back library. Would like to see a list (make and number) of some of your tools.....they are better than the stuff I have which is at the cheaper/budget end........ look more substantial....cheers
Added!... now I'm "flying solo" 😢 with time on my hands I'm going to finish getting the garage workshop sorted. Most of my tool set are still at the cheap/budget end too - barring the couple of up market table/band saws.... going to flush out the lower end stuff for fewer good pieces..... I've still got some boxes of "good stuff" left over from Xmas & my birthday lying around the house yet to make an appearance "watch this space" for cameos in the coming months and then a comprehensive workshop tour! 👍
Great to see you getting back to organising things in and out of the shop. Huge giveaway though I'm pretty good for tools and hope someone with gaps in their drawers can win. I'm really just down the road from you so as far as plans go if it rains much more my next project is going to be an Ark!

Great to see you Loz! And what a great haul for some lucky winner! Things are 43c here in Texas SO all garage work is on hold until mid-October or so when it's manageable again. But I'm storing up lots of ideas and looking forward to watching anything you get up to :) Try to stay active, it helps.
42c? ...Oh wow! we had the hottest June on record in the UK.. mid 30's and that was too much for us! keeping busy but its uncomfortably warm and damp over here atm. 😒

Your looking well my friend great giveaway as for the shop it’s on hold I twisted my knee and can’t stand on it yet so we’re all stop at the moment take care my friend the pain will remain but the memories will make it bearable my Sue is ok at the moment and we’re living from day to day

I think your subscriber count will increase, i did get this vid recommended to me so that must me a good sign. Otherwise, a small comunity isn't that bad either. People can be harsh out there, so having a smaller following might mean that theres a lesser chance of meeting trolls

I'm fine with a small community - I recon out of 900 subs- half are probably 'bots, 100+ being walk byes and 2-300 regularly watch, with a hard core of up to 60 comment. Suits me fine because I can actually managing to respond to everyone ( which is why I'm here) 👍😀

I think it'd be very informative to see a channel about what happens when one loses their life partner- emotionally, practically, financially etc. We're rubbish at discussing death and it's implications here in the UK.
That said, get in that garage and crack on with making us some fun stuff to watch & learn. Cheers x
