    The wall-hung tool chest homes a collection of tools you want accessible. That leaves extra goodies to store in a toolbox, trunk, and boxes. Never ending sorting and deciding what to move where.

      Thanks Dean, the idea was to create a reduced toolbox of really nice hand tools in a posh tool chest to eventually "pass on".... now my trouble is I'm keeping the junk tools too. because I don't want to soil "my precious's" >sigh

    Good seeing you again Loz, you really have been splashing the cash 😳. Hope your vertigo is improving, I had it a couple of years ago and was doing the same exercises, a bit weird but they worked 👍. Looking forward to pt2. Cheers, Bill.

    Good to see you again Roz, enjoyed watching you reveal part of your hand tool inventory. Totally agree with the "pretty tools, pretty boxes" mantra! I too have been 'collecting' tools over a few years, the danger is forgetting what you've bought and ending up with duplicates . . . ouch! Looking forward to Part 2. Take care

      Thanks Bud, yes decking can get pretty slippery (even without trees) Probably going to put two separate decks down, the first is going to be composite (kit steady purchased) and no.1 son has experience dong decking so is going to help me.. its going next to the patio doors - well away from the trees!

    Glad to see your OK and back posting, IIRC Rob C uses a 5 1/2 , I love old hand planes ( doing them up is rewarding ) I have a few, I do have power tools but love my hand planes, can a man have too many ? I think not.

    • @GrumpaLoz
      @GrumpaLoz  4 месяца назад +1

      Many Thanks Elioth. yup Rob C does recommend the extra half sizes for heft, and the 51/2 for "if you only have one"... most you tubers seem to sport a wall hung plane till with "one of each" hanging unused in a powered woodshed! seems a bit like hoarding, though I can understand how hand planes can breed in the workshopif you don't keep an eye on them!?
