- The No. 7 North Carolina Tar Heels kept their impressive streak going with their 103-67 win over the Syracuse Orange Five players scored in double figures for Hubert Davis' crew, led by RJ Davis' 22 points on 7-12 shooting. Armando Bacot scored 16 points and pulled in 11 rebounds for another double-double. Judah Mintz led the Orange with 21 points in a losing effort.

The first thing I thought when I saw this score was that at least it wasn't Boeheim getting beaten this badly. I love Pitino and would welcome him in the ACC any time.
It's really hard to replace a Boheim type coach. TBH, though, it was time for him to retire . He hadn't really had a championship quality team in years. Maybe now cuse can find someone who will.
Other than mintz, Copeland and Brown the talent is really lacking. The coaching has been piss poor. I realize talent and effort is lacking but Why is Justin Taylor trying to create his own shots? Tell the kid to play defense and rebound and stand in a corner on offense. He also shouldn’t be a starter. The starting lineup should be mintz starling Copeland brown and mccloud. Bring in bell for shooting - but he can’t defend.
