Very important question Dan.........are the joints super gummy?????... I've had two of the first version of this guy as the first one had both of his knees sheer off just trying to pose 'im round those joints were so gummy it was basically a garbage figure...I'd like to pick this one up as I'd like to get that head sculpt but I don't want to spend the money if the rest of the figure is a gummy mess
Exactly what I was hoping to know too. The knees on the original release were absolutely the biggest issue I've ever had with the dozens of ML figures I've bought.
This is one of the figures where I’ll have to wait for it to go on clearance. The only saving grace for this figure is the brand new head sculpt, everything else is the same but paint apps are different.
Even though it is so subtle, I do think that new deco makes a real difference. Sounds daft but I just think the duller gold makes it look a little less toy like!
Love this figure.. he's got that awesome head sculpt and some nice accessories. One for the customizers, is it possible to take the hair off these? Was thinking that new h Face with the hair of the Disney plus Hawkeye. I might just be talking crazy 😂 Great job Dan 👍🙌

If you remove the jacket on the new one is it just black like the original release or does it have gold to be accurate to hawkeye’s costume in the final battle of endgame?
The likenesses have been amazing in the last few years, this does feel like a bit of a letdown as we already had a Ronin so now we need to buy the same figure for a new head and hood essentially… couldn’t they have given some more bang for your buck or something special? This is why we made customs years ago…
I'm not a Marvel lei collector but this wave ,with this fig and the thugs I kind of like this line ,thanks for showing it now I got to go find 2 of this fig and a bunch of thugs lol
Just got it glad I didn’t like him till year alter after movie release. Had seen one of the original ins toe but wasn’t a fan of appearance the suit like he couldn’t pose much. Then shortly after a video of fixing the issue was made and couldn’t get one. Glad for wait he is more worth it for sure. I love head sculpt but with exception that I feel it’s seems more round shaped compared to an egg shaped like heads. But that’s just me everything else fire in this figure if could ask for one thing it be more hands like a pair of fisted hands. Ronin don’t just use his weapons he’s fight hand to hand too maybe flat extended hands since he dies know lots of fighting moves.
The most important thing about the comparison and what everyone wanted to know that cant be seen but felt is the fucking gummy knees!!! How could you not cover that mate ffs. Is it better in the new one or same shit?

Agreed. They should also do Captain America's World War II suit from The Frist Avenger and Thor from his first debut film with interchangeable head

The way I spotted the difference is the more natural skin tone around the eyes on the newer one.
I think the way the hood is shaped is better on the new one, but yea pretty micro differences

The Ronin is definitely the best sculpt.
The legs always give older figures away... it's not even kinda hard to spot the difference.
