I'm currently doing PPE at Oxford and am revising for prelims, I watched your videos all the way for application and they were really helpful thanks so much for uploading!!!
Hmm... I'm torn. One side of me says start earlier than you think you need because they'll likely be the hardest exams you've done with the least amount of time to prepare. Another side of me is saying, don't worry about them. Just make sure you get a 2.2 so you can stay on the course, as they don't count, and enjoy exploring your subject rather than the exams. I think the answer lies somewhere in between :)
I've linked this to my friend who's about to start Mechanical Engineering at the University of Liverpool (so about 30 minutes away from us scouers... although we're not scouse.. so nevermind!) But I'm sure he'll appreciate it, and I've put this video in my 'University' playlist that I will be looking over every now and then, I have many, for example GCSEs, A Levels, Guitar etc, to help with decisions and for advice. Thank you for yet another awesome video! Pete the Potato is out. ;)
"But I did become a good listener" I literally laughed out loud! A piece of advice that encourages to have a very positive attitude :)
U really make the best out of every situation, don't u?Falling sick for weeks made u a good listener:D
Haha, hopefully I don't become delusional :D
I'm starting university next week so great timing on this video! 😀
Zahra W Best of luck!
Great pieces of advice! Stuff I wish I knew before starting university...
I second the 'I think I forgot how to make friends' feeling. Gave it less than 24 hours and realised people are easy to befriend!
Thanks for the advice! about 2 weeks let till uni and now I feel like I can actually do it :)
:D

Apparently, York has the highest density of ducks out of any UK city!
You have magnificent eyebrows
I was advised to leave your door open and put biscuits out for people on the first day to encourage them to come in and make friends with you
Francesca Reynolds It works, freshers are always hungry for hospitable nibbles and snacks.
JamoeMills I will remember that for a few years time!
