What kind of Ford COE was that? Looks like a 1969 something.. Sorry I'm born in late 1990 and only have familiarity with Ford LTL-9000's, Chevy Bison's and/or GMC Five Star General's, Mack R models (love the old B-61's though). I unfortunately get to see the end of CAT engines but total B.S like their CT-660 truck released. (Which doesn't even have a CAT motor in it, mind you, it has an international with a Bosch ECM and fuel management system... Total trash.

I like those o cabovers & I miss seeing them roll down the highways here in the USA. Although the length limit here in the USA increased from 65ft to 75ft back in 1976, cabovers were still popular & still being produced up through either the late 1990s or early 2000s. It was easier to clean the windshields on them than on conventional cabs & they were easier to maneuver & park in too. Back in the 1980s & down, there was a big mix of cabovers & conventional cabs. Today the only cabovers I see around are yard trucks, garbage trucks, fire trucks, & some box trucks which are also cool but I've always been a big fan of fifth wheel cabover semis.

things did hold out and it was pretty good through the 80's and into the 90's... fuel hitting 2.00 a gallon in 2000 nearly put my boss out of business.. i ended up buying his Pete and things leveled off again for awhile..

As we prepare for another truckers' strike over controversial election & Biden's policy to ban fracking. Wonder what someone will comment about how we have it so easy compared to 40+ years from now...i hope for the best America.

And we still have the same problems, nothing has changed, except for more regulation.
