My number 1 is Silver Ridge, just from how much I played it before the release of other maps. Number 2 is Sundarpaten, best map in the game! And number 3 is Vurhonga, never gets old. Great job on the video as always Lady!
I could be wrong but saying Sundapartan is your favorite seems like a way of coping. I love this game and have sunk over 2 months of literal time playing it. But this map suckss. Needs about 1.5 if it's current population.

Being a hunter from Maine I love the New England DLC and I can tell you they are spot on with how the visual affects are including how thick it is and the colors terrain etc, absolutely love it
Always find Silver Ridge Peaks is a great mind cleansing map. When i've been on a certain map too long and developed familiarity fatigue, as I did this week with Sunderpatan, I go to Silver Ridge and find it just clears my head with its bright skies, greenery, vast open spaces and huge number of animals. Its like taking a sunday stroll over your favourite park.

On the road in rancho I was driving a four wheeler and I hoped off and spotted a super rare whitetail but he was fleeing however I eventually found him

Here are my favorite maps (considering I have not played on mississipi acres, new england mountains, emerald coast and sundarpatan) 1. Revontuli Coast 2. Yukon Valley 3. Hirschfelden 4. Silver Ridge Peaks 5. Rancho Del Ayorro 6. Vurhonga Savanna 7. Te Awaora 8. Cuatro Colinas 9. Layton Lakes 10. Medved Taiga 11. Parque Fernando
There needs to be a Papua New Guinea map. Dense forest areas, farm and coastal areas. Animals: Bronze Quoll, Tree Kangaroo, Echidnas, Eagles, Cassowary, Rusa Deer and they can even bring back the "extinct" Tasmanian Tigers. This would be epic.
Well I dropped my detailed review about my personal list of the reserves that I like, But since then a lot of stuff changed, I experienced all the maps since then and here we go. TIER S: 1 - Yukon Valley Changing weather, crystal clear vistas amazing feeling of untapped wilderness around you .Also great roster of animals to hunt (I still think Yukon needs 2 more species and then it'll be complete). Open, large fields, thick forests, rocky mountain sides, Yukon got all. If you wanna do field hunt you can do it, If you wanna do zone grind you can do it. It's always nice. Great for multiplayer too. 2- Silver Ridge Peaks Similar vibes and reasons with Yukon, even more open fields and even more crystal clear lake vistas. Great zone grind map. Great for multiplayer too cuz you can see animals everywhere.It needs 1 or 2 more species tho. 3- Medved Taiga Medved Still needs 1 or 2 more species (I think Wolverines, Snow Sheep and Siberian Ibex would make this map complete) but other than that it's perfect, it gives you the survival / harsh environment. In Medved it felt like you ain't hunt for sports but hunt for ur life. Also frozen lakes are the best for zone hunting, great for positioning great for retrieving. Also, Medved is kinda map that you can experience anywhere else. No other map has that much snow and frozen lakes. ___________________________________________________________ Tier A+: 4- Sundarpatan Sundarpatan could've been no#1 only problem is, half of the map is so thick, and you walking up/downhill if you move between South and North. So you never have long distance clear vision while you move between S-N . Dont get me wrong in terms of beauty, atmosphere and uniqueness I think this is the best Map we ever got, you feel like you've been in 4 different maps in 1 map. Animal roster also super unique to itself. 10 animals out of 13 it's only in Sundarpatan that's huge ! But it's tiring, it's challenging not that good for multiplayer with friends but it's an amazing map other than that, It could've put in Top 3. If you ask me 1 more time about my opinion I might put Sundarpatan at no#3 or no#2 it's that close for me. 5- Revontuli Coast: Best Whitetail and Moose grind (best for together, in separate Medved better for Moose) map, also best waterfowl and small game map. In terms of visuals and design it's one of the best looking maps. Totally relaxing map with big open fields, big lakes, very few obstacles and stuff. It requires a lot of setup but once you done it's really easy-going, relaxing experience imo. __________________________________________________________ Tier A: 6- Te Awaroa Great visuals, nice animal roster great for both zone or field hunting. Lots of animals, one of the best population around zones. Lots of fun. I think it needs some animals like Tahr, Sambar, Sheep but still nice roster. 7- Emerald Coast Lots of animals, great fun, nice for money making too. Only problem with it imo is positioning. Lakes are few and their position is weird, River/creeks are covering that part tho, Coast is nice but again a bit buggy there. It's definitely one of the best maps but idk, it lacks some spirit imo. 8- Cuatro Colinas Lots of unique classes, more civilized version of wildlands, it's more like rural areas around towns, it has different vibes, one of the best story/main mission parts. Nice animal rosters with unique animals. It has 3 very nice matmati special showcase stuff too. And I think it's best map for Red Deer. _________________________________________________________ TIER B+: 9- Rancho Del Arroyo I didn't experienced the map enough but I like the animal roster, I liked the aesthetics of the map. Nice small to mid game animal roster (they can add 2 or more it'll make it perfect then). You can do track hunting, field hunting or zone hogging, it fits different styles imo. 9- Layton Lakes Back then Layton was in my top 6 but after my failed Whitetail + Moose Grind attempt I hate the map. It's hard to keep control of every water area cuz it's a lot and so many of 'em sacred behind reed fields. Also poor roster for a North America hunting map. It could've more animals imo. Not a terrible map at all, it has it's charm for sure but missions are chore-ish and grinding is really weird. So much inconsistency compare to Medved or Revontuli or Yukon. Good map but now we hit the number of 15 in terms of maps and Layton cant keep up with competition with this poor vision and control. Also bad for multiplying cuz its more for field hunting, you cant approach a place with 4 friends from 5 different angles, it ain't have that kinda volume like Yukon or SRP. ______________________________________________________ Tier B: 11- Hirschfelden It has it's downsides but in terms of beauty, in terms of unique animal roster , in terms of the balance of open fields and thick foliage , Hirsch has all and allows you to approach differently. Also missions are more fun than Layton's imo. 12- Vurhonga Savanna It's here only cuz it's the only Africa map and it has so many unique animals that special to this map only. That's the only reason. Other than that, imo it's the worst map when it comes to "disappointment" Yes Missisippi and New England are worse maps but they just poor copies of other North American maps. On the other hand Africa is one and only and yet it's not fun somehow. Savanna should've been way more flat, it should've way more open fields, The vision is bad, the animal population is bad. It's popular only cuz of 2 reasons. First; It's AFRICA ! Second; It gives the easiest and the most diamonds. Total disappointment imo. In terms of having fun it's the worst map with Missippi imo. But just cuz of it's uniqueness and what it does bring to the table, it's here. 13- New England Mountains It's thick, it's unnecessarily big, it ain't unique but it has lots of animals, population-wise it's one of the most crowded ones, also could be the best looking map. If you're ok with track hunting and field hunting it ain't that bad, but if you into zone setups and stuff and multiplayer then no, it's terrible. 14- Parque Fernando Actually couple of months ago I would've put Parque over Hirsch, Savanna and New England but since Sundarpatan, Parque lost all of it's charm. Cuz back then Water Buffalo and Blackbuck was only unique to Parque. But now it ain't. You can hunt Red Deer better at any other Red Deer map, You can hunt Puma and Mule Deer way better in SRP. For Peccaries Rancho is better. I mean Parque lost all of it's charm it needs map remastering and adding some unique species. It has cool missions tho but useless weapon. _________________________________________________ Tier C: 15- Missisippi Acres Missions are bugged, map is small but animal population is low so you cant field hunt properly. It's a thick map and %70 of the animals are small to mid game so hard to spot. It gome some spirit and souther aesthetics but it's so buggy and so inconsistent it's really hard to find any reason to go back in there.
Mississippi is my favorite map. There are a couple giant open fields with no brush that I set up a tree stands on and hunt. Other than that I just run and gun it.
After I finally gave CotW a serious chance, I started with Hirschfelden and honestly? I love this map. Aside from stunning looks, this map is simply good for learning and quests there as frustrating as they can be, they provide challenge and I believe I wouldn't be as effective in hunting if not for this map. Though, I wouldn't consider myself diamond hunter, and more of hunting for fun type of guy. All that said, I tried Savanna and few other with my friends and I couldn't believe how goddamn easy everything feels after Hirschfelden.
Love the video! So helpful. I'm newer to the game and needed a video like this to help choose which maps to focus on. Funny enough, so far my first two maps I dedicated to hunting on were the two lowest ranked maps, Hirsch and New England 😂😂😅 but I'm still having fun nonetheless! Agreed that they're waaayy too thick though. I thought that was just me.
I completely agree with you about Mississippi being dead last. I feel icky and depressed whenever I play it, which is rarely. Silver Ridge Peaks will always be my #1 although I'm playing Sundarpatan the most now because it's new. I'd put it as #3 and Emerald Coast as #2.
I'd love to be able to hunt African elephants in Africa 2.0. Imagine the difference you could have in tusks, some huge, some small, imagine setting up a diamond Elephant in your lodge!! The UH trailer really made me excited to hunt elephants
My top three are in this order Revontuli: i absolutely love wing shooting, and the amount of game birds in this map provides me not only an exciting hunt, but an incredibly lucrative cash cow. Yukon: my first diamond was here, not to mention several reliable and target rich areas for grinding great one moose, as well as a cash cow with bison and wolves. Perfect for the long distance hunter. Sundarpatan: newest map and thus far becoming an absolute obsession of mine, chasing diamons yak and searching for the GO Tahr have me on the edge of my seat at all times!
I really hope they introduce an Amazon map with tapir, capybara, caiman, jaguar, etc. But I don’t think it’s likely because of the lack of large game besides those.
My number one most played is silver ridge peaks! I tore through that map faster than any other 😅 and you’re absolutely right, I’m a returning player who came back for Sundarpatan- I’m trying to get my levels up tho before going in, I want to be prepared! Yukon is one of my favorite maps, though, it’s just so pretty.

Sundupartan is a fun map but I am scared to play it now after being ambushed by the same tiger three different times and it puts my nerves thourgh a roof. I will go hunt it again when I get that class 9 weapon Also the key phrase is Having SO MANY map options is AMAZING!
I genuinely love every single map and hope they keep adding more and more maps to the game. More maps and quality of life updates to keep this game going, as I don't want it to end!
I love hunting on Hirschfelden. That's because this map is beautiful, the animals are small and fun to hunt. Also as you mentioned the map is thick and I think it is great because you need to be patient, calm and you actually "feel" the animal and when you finish it actually feels "deserved". The same with Fernando and Medved Taiga.
If they would help players identify where the fields are on maps like MA and NEM, I think they would be more popular. Hirschfelden's map does an amazing job of letting you know where wide open fields are. I don't know why it's one of the only maps that is like that. It's so useful and encourages me to hunt feed zones when I can at least know where to start looking.

My top maps are 1- sundarpatan because tigers are my favourite animal irl and getting to hunt them makes me love it so much 2-cuatro I have always loved this map since it came out and it has a soft spot in my heart for that map 3-Mississippi acres I love the gators and the challenges of hunting this map makes the trophies fell more special and as I work with gators irl I loved it when that first trailer came out with the gator since then I have loved it and I always will
About 300 kills into my red deer go grind, I have 3 diamonds, 4 piebalds, and a albino, pretty sure this extremely good bud just wanted to see how good this is for a go grind
Just started month or 2 ago on the game, most played maps are the 3 dlc's I bought: Vurhonga, Emerald Coast, and Yukon. Yukon just seemed like a nice upgrade for big game, the others are nice for exotic hunts
My most hunted are probably 1: Emerald Coast (gimme the money!) 2: Silver Ridge Peaks (gimme the money v2.0) 3: Yukon Valley But that's different from my favorites. 1: Yukon Valley, love hunting wolves and caribou 2: Med-Ved Taiga, I do a reindeer hunt every Christmas, and ❤❤❤ that it now has wolves 3: Layton Lakes, it's my go-to original map that has all of the antler species you could want

new species are sadly often just new skin and the rest is just copy&paste from the old maps. Would be nice to see improved animal movement and other behavior
My top 5 5.Revontuli 4. Yukon 3. Sundarpatan 2. Emerald Coast 1. SRP. I personally like new England because its the closest to me (and the hunting by me) and Parque is my least favorite the moment cinnamon teal are added to another map, I probably will barely play it

It gome some spirit and souther aesthetics but it's so buggy and so inconsistent it's really hard to find any reason to go back in there.
Mississippi is my favorite map. There are a couple giant open fields with no brush that I set up a tree stands on and hunt. Other than that I just run and gun it.

After I finally gave CotW a serious chance, I started with Hirschfelden and honestly? I love this map. Aside from stunning looks, this map is simply good for learning and quests there as frustrating as they can be, they provide challenge and I believe I wouldn't be as effective in hunting if not for this map. Though, I wouldn't consider myself diamond hunter, and more of hunting for fun type of guy. All that said, I tried Savanna and few other with my friends and I couldn't believe how goddamn easy everything feels after Hirschfelden.

Love the video! So helpful. I'm newer to the game and needed a video like this to help choose which maps to focus on. Funny enough, so far my first two maps I dedicated to hunting on were the two lowest ranked maps, Hirsch and New England 😂😂😅 but I'm still having fun nonetheless! Agreed that they're waaayy too thick though. I thought that was just me.

I completely agree with you about Mississippi being dead last. I feel icky and depressed whenever I play it, which is rarely. Silver Ridge Peaks will always be my #1 although I'm playing Sundarpatan the most now because it's new. I'd put it as #3 and Emerald Coast as #2.

I'd love to be able to hunt African elephants in Africa 2.0. Imagine the difference you could have in tusks, some huge, some small, imagine setting up a diamond Elephant in your lodge!! The UH trailer really made me excited to hunt elephants

Revontuli: i absolutely love wing shooting, and the amount of game birds in this map provides me not only an exciting hunt, but an incredibly lucrative cash cow.
Yukon: my first diamond was here, not to mention several reliable and target rich areas for grinding great one moose, as well as a cash cow with bison and wolves. Perfect for the long distance hunter.
Sundarpatan: newest map and thus far becoming an absolute obsession of mine, chasing diamons yak and searching for the GO Tahr have me on the edge of my seat at all times!

I really hope they introduce an Amazon map with tapir, capybara, caiman, jaguar, etc. But I don’t think it’s likely because of the lack of large game besides those.
My number one most played is silver ridge peaks! I tore through that map faster than any other 😅 and you’re absolutely right, I’m a returning player who came back for Sundarpatan- I’m trying to get my levels up tho before going in, I want to be prepared! Yukon is one of my favorite maps, though, it’s just so pretty.

Sundupartan is a fun map but I am scared to play it now after being ambushed by the same tiger three different times and it puts my nerves thourgh a roof. I will go hunt it again when I get that class 9 weapon

I genuinely love every single map and hope they keep adding more and more maps to the game. More maps and quality of life updates to keep this game going, as I don't want it to end!

I love hunting on Hirschfelden. That's because this map is beautiful, the animals are small and fun to hunt. Also as you mentioned the map is thick and I think it is great because you need to be patient, calm and you actually "feel" the animal and when you finish it actually feels "deserved". The same with Fernando and Medved Taiga.
If they would help players identify where the fields are on maps like MA and NEM, I think they would be more popular. Hirschfelden's map does an amazing job of letting you know where wide open fields are. I don't know why it's one of the only maps that is like that. It's so useful and encourages me to hunt feed zones when I can at least know where to start looking.

When I first started, I hunted Hirshfelden and played a lot more Hirsh than I ever played Laton
I’m in the Rocky Mountains right now and that is my number 2 map number one is sundarputan because of all the new animals and in number 3 is emerald coast the crocs are my favorite animal to hunt

That is undetermined. It’s really hard to know but it certainly can’t hurt! Definitely produces way more diamonds, bigger rares and even super rares

Just started month or 2 ago on the game, most played maps are the 3 dlc's I bought: Vurhonga, Emerald Coast, and Yukon. Yukon just seemed like a nice upgrade for big game, the others are nice for exotic hunts
I like parque Fernando even though it very thick I love to hunt red deer, muley, and puma!
Top 3 for me is Sundarpatan, Revontuli(love bird hunting in this game) vurhonga. Yukon and medved tied 4:th place after thst te awarora.
The Mississippi acres storyline though is awesome

My most hunted is definitely Hirschfelden. It's still my favorite too. It's the most beautiful map imo and has a lot of my favorite game on it. Revontuli comes in 2nd and Sundar patan and SRP are tied at 3rd for me.
