I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about EdgeTX, but even I picked up a couple of little pointers. I've also never had a B&W screen, so if I get one this will help me to map to the TX16S functions. Thank you for creating the series!
Joshua I always enjoy your content! I want to add a tidbit bit for those like me who are new to Elrs. I have the Xlite and Radiomaster nano 2.4. Xlite is on latest Edgetx. I was receiving the loading…death screen; my radio and external module would not communicate with each other. Internal was set off and external set to crossfire…but no bueno. THEN. I stumbled on the fact my baud rate was set to 115. Well, I moved it up to 250 and bingo! SUCCESS!!! You left out baud rate in your how to videos!!
Thanks for making these vids. Trying to get back into the rc hobby. Used to crash a lot of fixed wings. Now I’m trying to learn how to wreck quads. Having trouble finding anything “budget friendly” in stock.
So a couple of things. One, thank you for including fixed-wings when talking about the options. I fly fixed-wing, but I started with quads, hence why I like watching your videos. Also, I’m just curious, do you have a sound pack to download?
Hi Joshua, first thanks for you video, like always....amazing. I have one question, Is there a way to save the settings to move them from one transmitter to another? for example i have a boxer and pocket too. Can the configuration be copied from one to another? thanks mate!!!
Joshua, You briefly mentioned the possibility of setting the Real Time Clock using GPS telemetry from the aircraft. (Though you cautioned that it's not easy). I've been searching around, but can't find any references to that. Can you provide any more details? or pointers? (It's apparently quite easy - just check a box - to do it with a GPS in the transmitter. But I assume that getting from the aircraft is more involved.) Thanks for a very interesting video series! Note that around 18:39, the video mentions the "Adjust RTC option" but despite what the video says, that is only if you have a GPS in the TRANSMITTER. I would like to do it (if possible!) from a GPS in the aircraft RECEIVER.
@@JoshuaBardwell I pretty recently just flew my first helicopter outside of the simulator and running it with ELRS on the zorro is amazing, as much as some would consider it a drone transmitter I love it for helicopter
Is there any option like factory reset on smartphones? I bought my radio 2nd hand and the previous owner left all stupid settings inside. How can I bring the radio back to its original factory state? Thx
Joshua, which EdgeTx firmware do you have on Jumper T15? I can see some graphic glitches (slow refresh rate). I see exactly same behavior on pre-production EdgeTx version on Jumper T15. Can you verify that this already solved in latest official release?
@@JoshuaBardwell Yes for me to, is also visible in your video. I just notice this on T15 with custom factory build of EdgeTx. I`m curious if this screen behavior is resolved in oficial release where T15 is already supported (2.10.2 onwards). I dont have a chance to try it by myself anymore. But I want it to know before I purchase one. Can you try to update T15 to latest EdgeTx and test the screen behavior?
@@JoshuaBardwell Yes it look bit slow. Can you check which EdgeTx run your T15? I found this behavior on pre-release version of EdgeTx. I`m only curious (as potentional future owner of T15) if this is software or hardware issue. Just simply try to update to latest EdgeTx :)
Hey, I have a problem with my mobula 6, in the beginning the left back Motor the didnt spin when I arm, by tapping it or pushing it manually it spins, I wanted to fix this issue, so I looked on Betaflight, but the Firmware was too old, so I flashed the newest and setted all up but when I throttle up the drone goes 2cm up and spinning like 180 degrees on the left direction and then it stops. I looked at the internet and someone had the same issue and he fixed it by correcting the motor spinning setup and buying a new motor. So I flashed the old manufacture firmware, 3.5.7 and put the backup on, but now I realize, that when I throttle up the drone has sometimes more sometimes less power. And the other Problem is when i yaw left, the drone goes down, even if I throttle up while yaw, then when I go away from yaw and then it goes up, because throttle is up, Do you know what to do?

Thanks for making this series!! SUPER appreciated!!
lets go, thanks JB for that video, it will help a lot of newbies in that hobby
I couldn’t stop watching the fly at the beginning of the intro. 😂

Not between radio models, no. Not that I'm aware of.

One reason for vario is if you are using a headtracker, to at least make sure you aren't losing altitude.
Where we're going, we don't need roads 😎.
I think there's more than just a 'few' peeps who fly Mode 1 Joshua.
and odd question for you Joshua but seeing as you have flown drone forever it seems, have you ever flown an RC helicopter?
Only in the simulator.

Guess you're doing ok and didn't get any flooding.

I cannot confirm. To me, the screen on the T15 feels a little slow.

Hi there,
In radio setup tab I've only pwr off delay but not pwr on delay in running 2.9.3 on tx16s.
Can somebody help?
Thanks
You are on 2.9.3. Latest version is 2.10. The first thing I would do if missing a feature would be, update to the latest version.
@@JoshuaBardwell Always the best!👍
Anyway there's not a pwr on delay in 2.10.4 too 🤔
