I don’t know whether you’ve been there before, but if you haven’t I’d also recommend the Gower Street Waterstones. It’s about a five minute walk from forbidden planet and I really liked their manga section
I actually went to forbidden planet not last weekend but the one before, it was so magical lol wish i could live in london so i could go there all the time
Foyles know there are a lot of tourists and students from east Asia in London, So having Manga titles in Japanese will sell well just like the English translated Manga titles. Foyles have an amazing range of Manga titles, unfortunately they are pricey. I ❤ Gosh. Such an underrated store.
I ❤ Forbidden Planet. I was there a few days ago. I purchased an Junji Ito Animé T-shirt. The sales assistant said they probably won't be selling anymore Animé/Manga merch, because of licensing issues. So I'll be purchasing future merch from the Craft Japan store in Camden Town market. Wowsers! They sell Hentai novels ?😮
ok but im so glad I found this video because even though I live near London I can never find a great place for cheaper manga and next week I'm going there so I'll be raiding forbidden planet!!
I love Isekai and have found one that I havent seen you mention, Loner in Another World. I think you might like the comedy aspect to it. I'm always looking for new Isekai to read, whether fantasy, harem, or slice of life, I just enjoy the genre.
I went manga shopping in Newcastle (Forbidden Planet, Waterstones and Travelling Man) today, and I got: Eniale & Deweila vol 3 (I have the full series now), Witch Hat Atelier vol 4, Takane & Hana vols 6 and 8, Komi can't communicate vols 16 and 17, and Yakuza lover 6. I was hoping i'd get lucky and could finally get vol 1 of Savior's Book Cafe today, but still no luck sigh.
Ugh it drives me crazy when I see out of print manga in a shopping video and I can’t grab it 😂 another great video! ❤

awesome video!! love watching your manga buying adventures🥰
The duke of death and his maid has an anime and even tho it's cgi and it's not the best cgi at that, I really liked it! The story itself is fun

Sorrrryyyyyy 😆 Blackwells and Booksplease are where I would try to keep an eye out for skip and loafer 1 if you haven't found it already!
