I work at barnes and nobles and the reason why there were so many box sets is that people tend to buy in bulk for christmas so at the location I work at we had a dedicated table and wall for all of the box sets we has but it was primarily demon slayer and other very popular stuff
I love Devil's Candy! The first volume is pretty episodic and follows Pandora (girl on the cover of volume 1) and her learning how to live as a person and a normal student.
you should read still sick if you haven’t already!!! its a 3 volume yuri manga about two mangakas, and as meta as it is sometimes i absolutely adore it lol….. the art is also really pretty, i’ve been thinking about picking up the physical copies sometime

Whoa saw a Kuroko's Basketball volume in the video I never see those at my barnes & noble the only time I have seen it in a store is at Books Kinokuniya! Love seeing your manga shopping as it helps me control my manga shopping tbh so I dont wanna keep going out and buying volumes everytime I go out shopping! Love seeing how different other peoples Barnes & Noble are compared to my local ones tbh!

Hello this is Ryzawa, I'm just gonna comment with this account from now on since I use this one for watching videos usually whilst my other account is for videos with effort put into them. So many good looking covers, I don't blame you for having a habit of buying off of looks. It's like watching videos just because of their thumbnail but you have to pay to watch it lol. Also for Viz I assume they don't actually *make* the manga but do more than just publish, like aiding financial support and handling the hiring process for things like editors, cover artists, or even the artist themself since often times manga artists don't do the art as well and struggle to look for counterparts. Basically they fund and structure the manga, at least this is my theory, I don't they have a crafted in-house team like you would have with like a game developer company but basically hire free-lance.
