Long Live the Queen . Really enjoyed your upcycle of the coin . It's really cool. I have a good collection of India and foreign coins. And I have 2 coins of Queen Elizabeth the second from Hong Kong 🇭🇰. And I also found a tiny pendent of Queen Elizabeth II of Australia 🇦🇺 in the riverside of River Brahmaputra. Which starts from China 🇨🇳 passes through Guwahati to Arabian sea 🌊.

How amazing that you found those Queen Elizabeth halfpennies on Jubilee Weekemd, I also found one while Beachcombing up here in Fife , on a beach where I never find coins. Mine is worn wafer thin by the sea and is dated 1966

Lovely opening with the accordion and the bubbles. Make the bottle into a scoop. You just have to make a handle for it. You’re good at upcycling. Oh, you guys are in a great spot to watch the fly overs, just awesome. Colt 45 is an American beer ( not one of the best). I don’t like beer, but I’m not a drinker. Fantastic find, your coat button.

Great day for old coins! As former United States Air Force enlisted, seeing fly overs is always a great treat. The can is a Colt .45 (indicating caliber of gun) American Malt Liquor, made started in 1963, and still available. The figure inside the horse shoe is a red horse kicking his heels up, heels above his head. P.S. The wee cygnets are so cute! Stay safe and party on!

That Chinese coin is called a cash coin. N.Q. Explorers has found several of those in the gold fields of North Queensland. Have a good one, fellas. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Use your camera on your phone but don't take the picture this really helps to focus on small word and dates etc. It really does work try it on the coins next time
The two coin/tokens with the holes does make sense that they were nailed to a house because the two holes are obviously not factory. The larger older one looks it was hammered through with a square nail and the smaller one is so stretched from the nail it was probably close to cracking. All in all a great day getting stuck in the muck

I always get frightened watching you handling the live munitions/bullets.
After watching a documentary about the First World War where divers went to the harbour of Gallipoli and pulled up some cordite that had been on the bottom of the sea for nearly 100 years .... They lit a little piece up, and it was still just as flammable as the day it was made!!!
That totally freaked me out - it was underwater for 100 flipping years 😳

That was a wonderful day of larking! Lots of great finds. I teared up seeing all the planes. I love planes and jets and since I live in the flight path of an air base, I don't know why they made me tear up. Silly me.

I think you're idea for a scoop for the Bateys bottle is grand. If you polish the sides so they're no longer sharp. It would make a great ice scoop and talking point for home bar, or barman.

For the bottle you could attempt to "complete" the bottle with clear acrylic for something more artsy. Although I do not know how difficult that would be since you would probably need a mold the same size as the bottle.
