Not sure which is better...your intriguing, surprising finds or your creative, ingenuous creations from your finds..love them both so I hope I never have to choose. Keep it up, Si, please!
Great day for old coins! As former United States Air Force enlisted, seeing fly overs is always a great treat. The can is a Colt .45 (indicating caliber of gun) American Malt Liquor, made started in 1963, and still available. The figure inside the horse shoe is a red horse kicking his heels up, heels above his head. P.S. The wee cygnets are so cute! Stay safe and party on!
You caught an extraordinary moment in world history, to be alive and part of the Greatest Reign of a monarch in human history. Great hunt and video documentation. Cannot wait until the World Cup!
Lovely opening with the accordion and the bubbles. Make the bottle into a scoop. You just have to make a handle for it. You’re good at upcycling. Oh, you guys are in a great spot to watch the fly overs, just awesome. Colt 45 is an American beer ( not one of the best). I don’t like beer, but I’m not a drinker. Fantastic find, your coat button.
How lucky you were to see the flyover and find a Georgian button. Loved seeing the accordion player and the bubble guy. Great job on the coin keychain - very creative.
What a lovely video, on Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth. The flying formations were a treat. I know you were all proud, to be English...and all those Elizabeth coins!!! Now 2 years gone? Sorely missed, but is now hone with her Maker, God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. ❤️😇🙏
Great outing & epic finds with Tobias & Panos. The flyby was an added bonus. Boy did I time travel back to the 70’s with Tobias’s T shirt- Peter Frampton! Yes please 😆
I see the ‘egg’ as a metal yard weight. There is something about the the shape 🧐🤓. Hey thanks for including all those fly bys, such cool aircraft! ✈️ great day, all three of you!
I always get frightened watching you handling the live munitions/bullets. After watching a documentary about the First World War where divers went to the harbour of Gallipoli and pulled up some cordite that had been on the bottom of the sea for nearly 100 years .... They lit a little piece up, and it was still just as flammable as the day it was made!!! That totally freaked me out - it was underwater for 100 flipping years 😳
Well 'played' mudlark... Commemorative jetons and coins found on the Platinum Jubilee!! Love the tiara 👑🤣 and as per usual, I adore the clean ups and remakes 💙 hello from Denmark 🌸🌱
A very enjoyable mudlark! A royal jubilee event mudlark! A jet Spectacular ! All happening while I’m asleep and I get to enjoy it all with my morning cuppa! Thanks Sci ! Oh yeah, a heavy duty scoop for chook pellets etc Cheers! Karol
I loved the flyovers! While watching them, I thought, how cool to be a kid there in London during all these celebrations! The coin turned out beautifully, too!
We found a lead egg like that in a farmers field in Pennsylvania. We thought it might be a window weight. Thanks for including footage of the flyovers. Very exciting.
Great day to spend the Jubilee there. Really cool seeing the jets flying over. Looks like a lot of good finds for the Jubilark. Wow, love the ordered dinner meals. Looks good. I like how the coin turned out.👍
Another excellent video Si, As a new subscriber I'm really enjoying wading through your back catalog. I can't believe how much you find - have you ever gone out and found absolutely nothing??? Lol! I love the way you include your cats in the videos, having 3 myself. It's the little personal touches that makes these videos so much fun to watch! Your crafting skills as awesome! Glorious aeroplane footage too - a great episode!
For the batey bottle; make it the part that goes in the soil and make it a waterer. Attach a bottle to the top of it with water and stick it in the soil to water the plant for you.
The two coin/tokens with the holes does make sense that they were nailed to a house because the two holes are obviously not factory. The larger older one looks it was hammered through with a square nail and the smaller one is so stretched from the nail it was probably close to cracking. All in all a great day getting stuck in the muck
What a great time. The finds were great and the air show what a bonus. If it wasn’t for the damn dog. Great video as always Simon, I also would like to say your a great artist and love the things you make

I have an idea for what to make out of the batey stone ware bottle. Make the broken part a little more level at an angle and turn it into a bird feeder. You could glue a flat piece of plexi to close that side up as well
Great mudlarking day! Lots of beautiful finds - the W&M jetton, the Maundy Thursday coin, and your Georgian coin. Add in a bunch of Elizabeth II coins and a gold tiara and it’s definitely a Jubilark! Loved the flyovers, too! Your Hello Fresh presentation was perfect and glad you got some help in the kitchen from Nelly! You’re a natural - made it look easy and fast and delicious. Love your cut-out coin made into a keychain. Or a pendant if whoever buys it chooses to convert it. Actually, a keychain is what I would make from the Batey’s bottle. I’d cut around the name in an oval, put a hole in one end with the keychain and polish the edges. Just a thought. I also really liked the idea of making a candleholder of it. You could either do as suggested and repair the small bit that would remain missing after cutting down. Or you could reshape and smooth the missing part and cut a couple of other matching arches out of the bottom so that the candle holder has feet.
