    I made LARGE pokey tools, 12 inches in length using Home Depot threaded rods. It allowed me to screw on a crystal drawer knob on the top. I'm using them for my large outdoor planters. I've coordinated the colors with the plants. They sparkle in the sun! So beautiful!!

      Maybe I shouldn’t ask but you are the first I’ve watched that really teaches well. I started my crafting business with making wreaths…nobody wants to buy them for what they’re worth. Plus I am handicapped so I always had to get help taking all of my wreaths and displays, etc. you get the picture. I am so intrigued by the beading world. Plus it seems small enough that I won’t have to rent a U-Haul for. Do you have any tips for a newbie who wants to sell beadable things? How much to charge for each kind of thing? What craft shows to look for, etc. I so want to learn from you! Please consider me if you’re looking for a student.

      That's a hard question to answer but here goes. I have used beads as small as a 4mm bead if the hole is big enough but then again I have some 12mm beads that do not work because the hole is not big enough. You do not need as big of a hole like you do for the beaded pens. you are pretty safe getting 8mm to a 12mm bead. I linked a couple of packs of beads from hobby lobby for you, I find that most of there mixed packs will wok. Also Walmart has some mixed bead packs that will work. I hope that is helpful, If you have anymore question please ask. You can also use my email to ask question if you would like.

    • @creativelyjean
      @creativelyjean  10 месяцев назад

      The bead size is not as important as the hole size. Some 10mm beads can have a very small hole the same with a 6mm bead can have a large hole. That being said it is hard to order by hole size because most companies tell you the bead size the the hole size. You need about a 4mm hole. I am going to give you a link to a pack from hobby lobby most of the mixed packs have a lot of beads you can use. In my experience most 10mm and up will work. I hope this helps.
