Thanks for your vídeo! Pelase can you do a gain test? Or can you tell me if This amp can be used to play high gain metal music?

Thanks for the comment. Stock, you can do great metal, but not high gain metal. If you were to boost the lead channel with a distortion pedal or use you favourite metal pedal on the clean channel you definitely can.

Good Day Nick, how can I get in touch with you? I am based in SA and have been searching for one of these Amps. Regards

Great for gigging and recording in the studio right?

Absolutely! The emulated amp out is pretty good for direct recording as a second track over your mic's cab. And it is pretty loud. On the stage I have it set to about 2.5.

Nick le Rock Hey that sounds great man! still I have a concern, some people in the live sound environment have told me to reconsider a tube amp for gigging, since they are pretty "delicate", the movement of a live sound setup can damage the tube amp and it won't work, you'll have to be expending in repairs and tube changes and stuff like that, whats your opinion about that?

Hey. The delicate part is mostly the valves. Just don't BANG your equipment around, and use the standby switch and let the valves cool etc. Essentially, if you want the tone, get what sounds like what you want, and look after it in the proposed manner. Another good suggestion is to always have a set spare valves with you, in case. Changing them is pretty simple with this amp. They even give you instructions on how to do it yourself in the manual. It's like NOT taking your bike to the racetrack because tyres are expensive! (Which they are!!)

Hey Andres. You get a nice Gator flight case for the Legacy sized amps. We don't get them in South Africa so I had a custom one made last week. I'm sure that will protect the Legacy is transport.

Have you read the section in the manual regarding the tube replacement guide on the last page? Maybe that will help. Other than that I advise you take it to the guys you bought it from, unless you bought it directly from Carvin. Then you should take it to you nearest tube amp technician. Your local music shop should be able to provide you with details for a tech. The best of luck and let us know happens.
