It's fitting that the only dragon that fought hounourably was the dragon with the four star dragon ball
To be fair, it was the dragon ball grandpa Gohan and Goku held. Perhaps their purities somewhat neutralized the negative energy

The Shadow Dragons concept is just amazing. Shenron is the perfect final villain, the name of the show (Dragon Ball) is about the mystical dragons after all.

I have the theory these dragons were supossed to be far more powerful. Their power was supossed to increase with time and would eventually become destructive cosmic entities kinda like Buu. Goku could beat them because he fought them too early and were esentially newborns. I mean, the first one couldn't even transform yet the last ones were a closer match.

Well, he IS the final boss of the franchise as a whole, so it makes sense for him to be the hardest one to fight.
They really should make a new set of shadow dragons for super's finale, maybe a omega shenron from the super dragonballs which are even more powerful then the gods (besides few like zeno). I mean the shadow dragon plot is the perfect end of dragon ball. What do the Z fighters do when the thing they've relied on since episode 1 turned against them? It's the perfect end

I honestly didn't view any of the Shenrons as being "powerful" outside of Omega, Nova, and Eis. The other four more or less had strong "side abilities" such as power sapping pollution, absorbing traits and abilities, or having control of the winds and sea. Nova and Eis were strong with good abilities, where as Omega was a culmination of them all with ungodly strength
Syn was the only Shadow Dragon without any special powers, just raw strength and power.
Each of the dragons should have at least been as strong as SSJ4
They only thing that's off is power level super sayin 4 is equal to super sayin blue form so or super saying ascension form the red hair and that power level is at highest is 10 million 1 million ascending into god power and 10 million for blue form I think kio ken 100 times is power level 10 mill and 500 thousand ultra instinct on usage is not a power level but a transformation it's more of a amplifier so god power is amp x 2 given his power level
A total of 40 mill when vegeta get his destruction power blue blue evolution he may be passed goku ultra instinct but I know for a fact on a raw scale level vegeta got to be at 15 mil by his self because evolution blue have had to rise his power level up another few millions jirens power level is at a rough 30 mill on his own plus push our rage 45 mill another 15 but what was crazy I don't believe that was jiren ceilings he has the potential to reveal all goes of destruction

The concept of evil shenron was so good, and it made perfect sense for shenron to be the final villain since the show is named after dragonballs, but the execution sucked so bad. I'll be happy if super uses the same concept with super dragonballs for the final villain of super.
Hasn't Super ripped off its predecessors enough? It stole the Super Saiyan God ritual from when Gohan, Goten, Pan, and I think Uub gave power to Goku to fight Syn, U3's God of Destruction looks a lot like Lord Luud, who was Dragonball's first real God of Destruction (the term was used a lot before, but Luud was the only one to be worshipped like a God), and I'm convinced Golden Frieza was taken from Golden Nuova. And that just GT. A good amount of the U6 characters are reskins of U7 characters, Kale is Rule 63 Broly and even used some of the original LSSJ's lines (obviously changed a bit to make the obvious rip off a bit less obvious) and performed some of the moves he did in his 1st movie, and I'm pretty sure Cell did the whole "Tournament to decide the fate of the world" thing before the Tournament of Power. Also, Turles was the first evil Goku. The concept of the Shadow Dragons may have been good, but putting it in Super would only show that Super can't stand on its own 2 feet. That and they already made Pan WORSE than she was in GT. At least she occasionally did stuff back then. Now she's nothing but a comic relief toddler.

Most of the things in Gt were originial designs of toriyama himself, so you cant 'rip off' yourself. Also i dont care if it actually copies stuff from gt as long as they do it right. Its One show, it not like they are taking stuff from another show. And no they didnt copy the ssj god ritual, that was done before too when goku fought broly and the concept of sharing energy was always there. And U3s god is clearly a reference to Gt. Everything you are saying so obvious, like ofcourse kale is a broly copy, i mean THATS THE POINT !! And the tournaments were the main part of db franchise, the only way to make the tournaments more intersting is to raise the stakes, so what cell did wasnt anything too unique. And turles wasnt evil goku, the concept of evil goku is very basic and simple, anyone can come up with it, turles was just a guy who happened to look like goku, just like how bardock looks exactly like goku and goten too, in super that was actually gokus body, whats important is that the execution is good. And gt had some great concepts and in okay with super using some of them again but in the right way, since gt never happens, its not like the same events are happening again for the characters. And how the fuck did super make pan WORSE ? Her story hasnt even starter yet, she is much younger than gt version, there something called character development, ofcourse pan will be funny and cute, shes a fucking toddler, do you expect her to start screaming and get jacked like the other characters 😂

I can agree with you one kale for now. I was very disappointed by kale in super, i was expecting her to be better than broly tbh, but for now she's not. But her story isnt over yet, the lgssj in super was only in one episode so im gonna give kale some time and see what they do with her.
Again the story of the universal arc isnt over yet. Im pretty sure htat there was a good reason for the tournament. Zeno was already going to destroy the 8 universes no matter what. Im sure there is something going on which we havent seen yet so no point in judging it yet. I was worried about frieza coming back as i wanted to see buu fight, bu after the latest episode im very interested in seeing what they do with frieza, that one episode was better than the whole ROF plot tbh.
Goku blacks execution was pretty great. Its one of the best stories in dragonball series since the cell game and frieza saga, in my opinion. Turles was non canon and he was pretty boring and lame, and black in 100 times better than him in every way. Turles was just another cliche bad guy and he looked like goku, thats it, there was no similarity between the two. Black on the other hand had a purpose. He is the only villain after frieza who actually did what he said he would. Zamasu taking gokus body and killin his own family with that face, then mimicking gokus moves was much better than what ginyu and turles ever did. And if you have a problem with that then you should also have a problem with baby taking over vageta. Not only was that the same as ginyu but that was the 3rd time vageta went evil again.
The last part is so stupid that i dnt even wanna reply. So pan sucks in super because she is not doing anything in the show, and she rather not exist ? ok what ??? So by that amazing logic, gohan should've never existed because at one point he was just a whiny little kid who was always getting into trouble and getting kidnapped. Chichi shouldnt exist because she does nothing, Satan shouldnt exist because he IS a comic relief character. Yamcha, tien , yajarobie, puar, master roshi, oolong, korin, popo, dende, shouldnt exist cause they literally dont do shit anymore. (Now they're doing it, but im just using your logic). Even UUB should never exist cause he's not even in the show yet. Pan is literally only in 4 or 5 episodes in super at this point and she is a FUCKING TODDLER, LIKE WHAT DO YOU EXPECT HER TO DO ??? We're not even at the end of Z episode yet. This argument make syou other arguments look super weak man.

And she did show her potential, she, blew up a space ship and started flying in the stratosphere, and was able to lift 3 kid sized adults who were only holding on to her right foot. No pan is not a comic relief character, you literally have no idea how character development works, you just said that gohan was whiny in the start but became a better fighter later on, and that happens over the course of 2 arcs, yet pan was only around for 4-5 episodes, and she is a fucking toddler, like how the hell do i even explain it to you, A TODDLER WHO WAS ONLY IN 4 EPISODES IS BEING COMPARED BY A CHARACTER WHO HAS HAD AN ENTIRE SERIES TO DEVELOP xD Thats dumb af bro. The kale part is an obvious homage to broly. And just because a character doesnt do what you like doesnt mean they shouldnt exist, hell pan doesnt even have to be a fighter, if shes not a brat and spoiled she'll be 10 times better than the garbage pan was in gt.
And saying a movie villain who is so forgettable that people remembers him after black goku was introduced, is better than black is just absurd. Black was better than all of gt villains and some of Z villains too. Black beat goku and vageta multiple times, something only he has been able to do, and by the end it took zeno to take care of him. The tournament didnt even start yet and you think cells tournament is better, lol you're just making shit up now.

Naturon Shenron in "True Form" still has a power level that can beat Goku's ass at the start of Z.
Goku took care of the 4 star dragon Ball to remind him of his Grandpa. It was also seen on gohan's hat when he was small. The very same dragon Ball stored the negetive energy of wishing back piccolo to save planet namek and the shenron that came out of it was honourable and also helped Goku in his fight against omega. In the last scene, special attention to the 4 star is given as it is absorbed into Goku. I love the consistency in all the seasons. Makes the anime very wholesome and complete to me
People can say what they want about GT, but no one can deny that this was a dope saga/arc.

StrawHatGraze Haze is obviously air, rage is kinda weird since he control lighting so don't about that one.
***** haze is smoke and dust particuls in the air and often pollution. It's not air it's self. Haze just sucks up air to inflate him self but that's all he did. Apparent he has the power to cause pollution witch hence why he's called haze
Also syn before he became omega shenron is the only shadow dragon that's not associated with any elements
Rage may reflect to all the rage that Saiyans had to turn into SSJ, or just Goku, since his SSJ transformation had a lot of lightning, and that kind of makes sence since GT is all about Goku, and maybe Pan and Trunks, but the rest is about Goku.
Ultimate Mighty Goku rage was created because master roshi used the dragon balls to revive goku. Also super saiyain 2 only have electricity sparks. Rage having the ability to use and absorb electricity does not relate to goku's super saiyan form, that's pure coincidence. He posses no other relation to goku especially their personalities. The dragon that had some sort of similarity to goku was nuova shenron who faught with honor and was kind to goku unlike the rest of the shadow dragons and ies being the total opposite twin of nuova

GT had excellent concepts and almost all the villains were frikkin badass! Baby Vegeta, General Rildo, that giant destroyer baby robot, Super 17 and finally the Shadow dragons... All were victims of awful execution.

GT gets attention, just in the forms of Bebi, ssj4, and later half of shadow dragons. the rest gets shit on for being to focused on Goku, weird power scaling and terrible arcs like rildo and 17. Honestly if it had just done two fairly long arcs of just Bebi and the dragons it prolly would have done well. if they focused on other characters a little more that would have helped as well. People also have issues with how pan acts so childish but that comes from the dub making her older then she in the sub.
Also a nice thing I picked up somewhere was that Nuova and Eis Shenron are a reflection of Goku and Raditz while one of them wants to fight and is a fair and honest person the other one is a coward who deploys cheap tactics to defeat his opponent at all costs
I feel like the odd one out when it comes to gt but it has to be my favorite out of the entire series, the story just has so much damn heart to it. 🔥🔥

Super has four sets of Dragon Balls. There is a random planet with a Namekian where there are only two balls the size of ping pong balls. Could even be more.
You can’t tell me the shadow dragons are not the reason Toriyama thought of the gods of destruction. Twin brothers Eis and Nuova just like Beerus and Champa and they’re all universally strong and all connected through the same source

this is true, we can already tell how stronge each dragon is based on their fights with goku and the title specificly says all forms and transformations of the shadow dragons. the made up power levels were not necessary and only made things confusing and started arguments. POWER LEVEL SCALING IS NO LONGER A THING ANYMORE

Hate on GT but it had original ideas, and tried to give Z an adequate continuation. Even Trunks and Goten are teenagers, super is recycled garbage meant for a quick buck knowing people will tune in.

Lets look at super... They brought back the pilaf gang for what reason? Future trunks AND frieza AGAIN?? Another tournament ?? Android17 ?? The characters were lazy and poorly animated. Compare all of their gay ass looking kais to the ones in Z, they had winnie the pooh for fucks sake. The blue transformation was made because it was easier to animate and the list goes on... super is garbage even comparing to GT. SSJ4 > ssb
@@consumedbydeceit5942 The problem with Super is that there are simply no stakes. In Z it genuinely felt like yo if they lose to Frieza/Cell/Buu the universe is finished. In Super if there is an issue it's an Earth problem Beerus+Whis have the Universe covered. Heck even Broly was like nothing to Whis. They tried to fix this in TOP but I mean most of the characters were heroic so they probably would have wished everyone back to life so it really wasn't a surprise, plus no killing in the tournament lessened those stakes as well.
Literally the only part where I was worried about a character was when Anilaza was trying to eat 18.
Also in Super everyone has dropped about 20 IQ points. Goku's retarded, Frieza was so scared of SSJ maybe if he hit the gym for like a weekend he would have crushed it. Apparently the potara rings aren't permanent which means what's the difference in the fusions? Trunks coming for help and literally left crying because Zamasu was the sky? The idea that Goten+Trunks would do worse in a fight compared to Tien. Buu "always sleeping" simply because he's too OP.
Transformations? SSG, SSB is just a colour swaps from SSJ. The Kaioken Blue, Royal Blue and UI are pretty cool though. At least in Super other characters get to shine, whereas in GT it was just "Goku time" the others were basically a waste of space/a burden right until Vegeta got a SSJ4 transformation at the v.end, even then it was simply to fuse with Goku he didn't do anything by himself.
GT the space stuff was dumb esp. since Frieza was established as the de-facto strongest so the idea of an "adventure" with Goku was ridiculous. If they had made it so as a kid he couldn't transform (or hold it like SSJ3) then might have made it more interesting. Pan+that robot was fucking annoying as well. Super Android 17 was stupid as well.
The Dragons however were genuinely interesting and is well worth re-visiting the idea that DB shouldn't be abused. SSJ4 was an epic transformation the idea of Oozaru going SSJ was always what I thought the legendary SSJ should have been.

As for future Trunks, just have an ova showing Babidi and Dabura coming to earth and entering into conflict with trunks. Also they could have made the tuffle creations like baby and hatchiyak Canon

Nuova Shenron is the only Shadow Dragon that shown honorable villain and a worthy opponent of Goku for some reasons.
1) He is the 4-Star Dragon Ball which was a family heirloom of both Grandpa Gohan and Goku since this was the first Dragon Ball that appear in the first episode and the first one acquired by Goku.
2) He was not cocky and arrogant character but remain as stoic and terrifying villain.
3) His final form was Golden Form(Golden Frieza who?) was his TRUE form. Plus, he transforms that form without a fit of rage nor power up.
4) He challenge Goku to prove if he was a worthy opponent and turned out, he was right as Goku did fought him in his base form, despite some comedic moments.
And lastly, 5) He transforms into Golden Form as Goku requested and Goku also transform into Super Saiyan 4, his primal true form before they fight for another round. Heck, he even help Goku against Omega Shenron.
Of all of Shadow Dragons aside Syn/Omega Shenron as the Thanos of Dragon Ball series, Nuova Shenron is by far my favorite Shadow Dragon.

The whole concept of the dragon balls filling with evil was not a bad idea.
One of the biggest failures with this show was Pan
Pan WAS the biggest failure of GT. For someone who is the offspring of Gohan, a fighter with a lot of underused potential, and Videl, someone who likes fighting, you'd think Pan would be the next-gen Teen Gohan. But unfortunately, GT was Goku Time, and all she did was talk shit, provide comic relief, and give Goku a reason to fuck people up. On the bright side, Pan never had any moments of glory, so she's not as big a disappointment as her father, someone who would've been the strongest fighter pre-Gods if he didn't slack off after Cell.

Ignoring the odd parts of GT Baby, Super 17(okay he's a bit ify), and the Shenrons were the best things to come out of it. I wouldn't mind the Shadow Dragons appearing in Super in some form. The Shadow Dragons are certainly great in concept.

So my fanon: Shadow Shenron, the first one, was in fact the real Shenron corrupted by the evil wishes. Also, while normal Shenron normally grants wishes, instead Shadow Shenron can use them for himself. Funny enough he got two wishes, his first one was the cigar because he wanted to smoke (sounds like a total waste, but with how some of the wishes are quite small and silly, it only makes sense he's use one for something frivolous), his second wish was what made the seven other dragons, he wished to cause humanity destruction, since normally Shenron's body can only survive outside of the Dragon Balls for so long. He couldn't actually grant a wish to live outside the balls because technically its a wish that is more powerful than himself (if he could already exist outside the balls, then he wouldn't have needed to use the wish in the first place), so instead when his body split up, each of the individual balls could summon a dragon of their own that could continue to exist beyond his summoning.
I literally had this same thought. I feel like GT kind of expects you to assume things sometimes and that's okay.
I need some more information here. Did the shadow dragon summon the other dragons for every wish made by the dragon balls or did they wish for things in the present?

The shadow dragon arc was a brilliant ideal with solid execution 8/10.
Overall GT had a lot of inconsistencies and poor pacing and basically made everyone aside from Goki irrelevant. I kinda would like to see it redone by someone else.
Baby was a really good arc.. super android 17 I liked as a villain a lot but the arc wasn't good.. but overall GT made everyone except Goku feel useless and the storylines weren't that good

The set of regular dragon balls is probably what makes him powerful. If Super goes in the same direction for some reason, we might get shadow dragons from the SDBs, but that's unlikely. It's even more unlikely that they will get boosts from different sets of Dragon Balls, unless different universes have multiple similar sets.
