From what I've heard in starkid livestreams where Jeff has talked about NPMD originally it was going to be that Jeff would play Max unless they found someone better for the role, and then they found Will who played Max in the show

Its technically an album but every other track is a narration and the songs are all telling a story.

They did come to leaky in dublin that one time, and brian and meredith came to a tiny convention in galway once so anything is possible
