That's from the years I spent in the bars. You learn to play in very distracting conditions with loud, thumping music, beautiful women and people screaming at you. You either adapt or go back to the quiet pool room-rooms but the quiet pool-rooms are going out with the phone-book. My yard is a resting point along a constant thoroughfare of female deer of all ages. I enjoy them a lot. Peace
The 6 and 7 in that second rack, LOL I think you made it mighty difficult on yourself. I have been working on the back of the cue for ever. It is so easy to see the line in front of you and be slightly off. It doesn't take much to miss on 4 inch pockets.
Yeah... I shot the 3 Ball all wrong and it defined a train-wreck. I didn't get back in line until the 9 ball. Part of me is the enemy of the easy way. Ya ever consider a shorter cue? It makes things easier to manage but it's hard to find one that's shortened and still forward weighted. You'll spot me holding the cue way back on shots I'm concerned with. It doesn't take much to miss ANY-size pocket and this is why I always aim for center pocket on every shot. 4" pockets are too tight. They have the pros playing boring safeties on easy shots and they discourage potentially great players. 8 hour One Pocket matches are a total drag and people on the rail are betting which player takes the first offensive shot. Anyway... 4.25 is enough. Peace
Yeah... It gets rid of all their fleas. The female pack travel down the mountain with their youngins to the stream every morning and spend the night traveling back up the mountain. Sometimes they take a break in my back yard. The male dear don't do much of anything and stay at the top of the mountain. They have their pick of women and it's the female deer that aggressively initiates sex with the men. They're interesting, beautiful creatures and if I ever saw someone try to hurt them I would lose my mind. Peace
Well - the first video I watched was Choose Myself. Quite disturbing... She's being held against her will while a cocaine head keeps her tied up and has his way with her... But the song is hypnotic and sad and shows the pain of life with no confidence or self-worth or value. Kiss Me Again - She lets her southern accent and her little girl innocence shine like a diamond. This is how you know you can trust someone... they're not afraid to let their true selves take over. I like her. She reminds me of Mazzy Star. Thanks Bacon.
Do you know how sometimes you just visually see oh this is a scratch, but you end up just steering the cue ball right in there an it wouldn't even scratch, if, you didn't visualize it in the first place.. this for me, when I'm playing my best is how things go only with making balls an playing position, you just visualize everything in the moment an just do it. You don't think about nothing, you don't hear nothing, you just do exactly what your eyes just saw.
Yeah. It's a big heads up telling you to stand back up and rethink it. Ya gotta listen to your subconscious.. No one does anything successfully until they see themselves doing it and that includes successfully failing. Don't "just do it."
@JohnDisque absolutely stand back up, but I also was just trying to use that as a reference.. I was taught in the beginning to see 1 spot on the ball, to see it all happening in your head visually, the contact point where the cue ball was going, everything then get down, close your eyes an shoot.
Excellent video. It amazes me your precision without keeping focus on the table.
Deer was chill af

@JohnDisque I couldn't agree more 👍
Nice shots and little lesson! Loved the nature footage too. Do you ever listen to Jessica Lea mayfield? Think you’d like her maybe
Hi Bacon... Thanks...
I don't know if I ever heard of Jessica but I'll look her up and get back with you and follow up on this thread.
