I have been enjoying ICRPG for a little while now, and it’s awesome. I recently downloaded the Volume 2 card art, and I love the NPC cards. I would like you to consider an entire volume of NPCs-just 100 unique and intriguing faces, like a book of mug shots to seed 100 (or more) different adventures! Keep up the fine work...
DANG! ICRPG v1 inspired me to make some Town Building cards of my own for my last D&D session in December. Great minds (great hive minds) think alike. Can't wait to pick these up! Love the style of these images dude. Nicely done.
Just purchased both ICRPGs from you, after post-exam binge-watching your channel (thank you!). You got me infected with inspiration to start my DM carrier - next week with some of my buddies. Gonna be fun!
I love this idea Hank. Your videos have provided a ton of inspiration to this fledgling DM. I plan on incorporating ICRPG by allowing the players to randomly select a few cards from a crazed fortune teller's deck and laying out their future on the table. I think they will dig the idea of choosing for themselves. Looking forward to the core rule set.
I used the ICRPG cards for my first ever Dungeon World game this weekend and I have to say it made my life as a DM so much easier. Players loved the simple visual aides of locations and characters that could be thrown out quickly onto the table without much time taken to set up the scenario. This kept the game fast a furious with focus on stories and heroic deed. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
Strength, Honor and Hankerin!!! Another amazing addition to the ICRPG. The numbers to coincide to the descriptions are a great update. Challenge accepted for #70. Love to support you and your epic vision. Keep that BADASS shit up man.
I'm stoked about using these. I bought v1 about a month ago--printed them out, and spent an hour stick-gluing them onto index cards. A week later you go on adding the fast & cut version. Excited to use these in-game.
Just purchased my copy of first vol. yesterday! Can't wait to have this one. You and mr. Sabbath are the most inspiring people in the "industry" I know, both of you make GMing an art, a craft I would say (in the oldest meaning of the word). Wish you the best!
Zak Smith, also known as Zak Sabbath, author of Vornheim (a city guide), A Red and Pleasant Land (a sandbox setting) and The Maze of the Blue Medusa (a megadungeon), go check this books out because they are both beautiful and useful.
I highly recommend a box set for this game that actually comes with all the things we need - the index cards - to play the proper game! It sucks to get the book, and then have to go to DTRPG to buy the cards, and then wait for ~1 month or so for them to make and ship them. Just a suggestion. I'd totally be down with a true master box set for this!
As I said in the last video on on Vol 1 cards, I love the idea. Just a suggestion, post a link to the cards on DriveThruRPG in your video description! It wasn't obvious in the video or the description that Vol 2 was actually up for sale yet!
Awesome. Hope to see it on DriveThruRPG soon. How about a Post-Apoc set? (Gamma World, Mutant Epoch, Mutant Future RPG)Mutants, raiders, ruins, an old car, carnivorous plants, hidden supplies, deranged robot, lots of possibilities.
Hey Hank. I love this idea! Its similar to how Fate uses aspects to describe everything, but this is much more visual approach. Have you thought about releasing these as Print-On-Demand cards? People would definitely buy them!
These cards are so god damn useful.I hate to say it makes me want to go back to my old game of theater of the mind just with a few visual aids.Still craft but Its gets exhausting try to keep up with storyline.Plus minis too expensive.Rock on Hank.
Man I reached a similar boat, especially mixing crafting for youtube and photographing all of it for everyone..super duper fun, but wow what a workload..then i realized my storylines werent going as far as they used to.... cuz i didnt have a styrofoam ilithid warp-husk listing into the hell maelstrom in the plane of fire....
Coolio! Can't wait to see the rules. I think there's a space for a simple, rules-lite version of the d20-based game (if that's the direction you're going.)
I'm really interested in what the rule set itself is like especially since it's all written on a bunch of cards which means it will probably be very simplified My expectations are pretty high with this one
Awesome. Can't wait to get it. You replied to me in a previous video stating that a science fiction version is possible. By any chance, would you have a rough estimate of when that might be released?
How about barebones NPC and buildings, so the DM can marker in defining traits or architecture. The DM won't have to draw from scratch, but can add unique touches.
yes! scifi is already under way... i started on a few apoc things but I just wasnt having fun..i thnk scifi/fantasy will be the jam.. what genre do you play?
Hank, I run The Strange for my home game, which has the potential to cross all genres. Starts out Modern, and characters have crossed over into Fantasy and Scifi worlds. Weird West is in the works too!

I love ICRpg. I've used it across so many different worlds and game types. Thank you for this, brohammer.

Man, you're churning these out pretty fast. Which is good, because I'm already hyped for the CORE SET (core set set set set...)
Just purchased both ICRPGs from you, after post-exam binge-watching your channel (thank you!). You got me infected with inspiration to start my DM carrier - next week with some of my buddies. Gonna be fun!
I just wanna print these all out oversized and cover my damn walls

Hey great news! Dungeon World and ICRPG are like peanut butter n jelly...we discovered the same thing last year in our group... thanks for the post!!

I am super excited for the Core Set. Your awesome pal!!!
Downloaded my ICRPGs just then! YAY! can't wait to use some of this in my game tomorrow night!
I am totally excited to see where the core set leads :-)
I've yet to figure out if I need it, but I just got the vol 1 because the art is cool and this channel is awesome!

super cool idea, but I'm just one dude... I'm more creator than manufacturer, but if someone would jump in to help, a box set would be cool...

Hello, is there any chance of making this available for sale in PDF format ICRPG Essentials Deck: Monsters ?
all this stuff is now FREE on the icrpg community content page :)
@@Runehammer1 I didn't find the deck with 100 monsters in PDF.
I'm definitely more into the terrain and dry erase, would love to see more of it.

lol holy shit you kill me.
Very cool. Are you going to update ICRPG Vol 1 cards to be the same size with the two cuts?
already up. all players who bought vol 1 can free download the 2nd edition with improvements
Do these include the content from Volume 1? Or is this in addition to Volume 1? Love your videos!
volumes are sep. email me for the whole kaboddle

Hank where do you get the little black plastic bases for the cards?
'pathfinder pawn bases'
I do improv one shot games with dungeon world and this would be PERFECT for my group because I don't use maps for the game
John here from the future... Or you copy and paste them into your shared Google Drawing that you are using as a virtual tabletop...
Awesome. Can't wait to get it. You replied to me in a previous video stating that a science fiction version is possible. By any chance, would you have a rough estimate of when that might be released?
drawing...as...fast...as....can......
Drunkens & Dragons: Play D&D Like a Badass Oh, I don't mean to rush, take your time man and keep up the awesome work! :D
How about barebones NPC and buildings, so the DM can marker in defining traits or architecture. The DM won't have to draw from scratch, but can add unique touches.

Hey Hank, what about those among us who play different genres like Pulp, Modern and SciFi? Do you have any plans to expand your genres?
yes! scifi is already under way... i started on a few apoc things but I just wasnt having fun..i thnk scifi/fantasy will be the jam.. what genre do you play?
Hank, I run The Strange for my home game, which has the potential to cross all genres. Starts out Modern, and characters have crossed over into Fantasy and Scifi worlds. Weird West is in the works too!
oh cool! a real artist challenge there... I'll be supporting ICRPG all year with as much as I crank out, so stay tuned!
its a great challenge as a GM to run the same characters in different genres too! Definitely tuned in.
love it, bought it!... ^_^
Goddamnit, quit making me laugh so damn much :D
Are all the cards in Vol. 2 new?
yep! 100 new ones!
Is Vol 2 standalone? Or is it an updated Vol 1?

Drunkens & Dragons: Play D&D Like a Badass. Are you the creator of the game. I should know this but wasn't 100% sure.
Where can I purchase?
drivethrurpg.com
Best pointer ever. hhahaha. :)
could you just do more crafting timelapse videos?
hehe sure... I go where the muse leads me...
I don't think this game is for me. The concept is ok but just not my thing.
