EVERY time I hear about something like this, I confirm with my 12 and 16 year old that they understand what happens to students who commit these "pranks" and false alarms, and how parents cannot hinder their arrest nor stop whatever consequences may arise. I have zero concerns about my daughters making such decisions, but it's an obligatory conversation all parents should be having with their children of all ages, even if it's uncomfortable.
i hope whoever this was gets found and jailed for life. That was the most terrifying day of my life.
