Idk I feel like the Compadre never needed to exist lol, it just does because they wanted to make a 2 reed version of the 3 voiced “El Rey del Vallenato” accordion..

What do you think of the corona ii? Not the classic one

@@Yeezus20 - I play Vallenato and Cumbia Colombiana so if the current Corona II’s are anything like the current Corona III’s then I don’t like them. Made in China, lower quality bass and keyboard mechanism, lower quality springs, crap wood. The new ones can’t compete with the old german made ones.

I agree, the compadre probably never needed to exist but is a response for the rey de vallenato.
In the same way, its interesting how there is no true entry level 3-reed accordion to be on par with the panther.
