I haven't watched this yet. I just want to Suggest that Roland V (virtual) "accordions" be thought of as music synthesizers in an accordion format, They are completely different instruments than traditional accordions. Your cell phone has about the same relationship to one of those voice cones before electric megaphones as a Roland V does to an accordion. Both are great but completely different.

Hey, I just found your videos, and I figured this would be a good one to ask a question. I'm looking at getting a one row diatonic accordion this Christmas. I'm from coastal Louisiana and really want to play Cajun/Zydeco music, but I'm a bit worried about the key it's tuned in. I don't really have a specific style (within the Cajun/Zydeco genre) that I want to play, and I'm not exactly sure what the key is for many of the songs I like. I've read online in forums that C is the most popular, but I also feel like that could be limiting and doesn't give me much more confidence. My budget is pretty limited as I've never played accordion before (although it is one of my biggest goals at the moment) and I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on something I may not end up playing much. Because of that budget, three rows are more or less out of the equation for now.
I see that reed blocks can be changed out in some cases, but I'm not sure if the specific model I'm looking has that ability (or if they are permanently glued in which seems to be the case for many single row diatonics). Do you have any experience with the Scarlatti Lafayette (the only cajun accordion I could find under 600 bucks)? It's listed on Hobgoblin Music's website. If not, would it be a better idea to go for something like the Hohner Panther? My only concern with a three row is that I have practically no knowledge about music theory and three rows seems a bit more technically difficult (although I could just play it like a one row in each different key). Any advice would be much appreciated!

Think of a three row as three different accordions in three different keys hope that helps you some

My son plays a piano acordion. I could use a video on free bass varieties in 3/4 size.
