As proficient as the F22 is at stealth and being a capable missile platform defensively, I still get the anxiety rush associated with GS's missions. I'll buzz for an hour or more. Thanks !
@@erikcourtney1834 this scenario has a different vibe though. The f22 is heavily outnumbered (more enemies than missiles) so it actually has to use terrain cover to launch a quick strike then run instead of doing the usual f22 thing of sanitizing the airspace
Very nice! I took a snap of that "moon shot" for a wallpaper. Very lovely. This mission went extraordinarily well given the number of hostiles and civilians in theater.
@@souvikdey6648 now you have me intrigued. when did literally anyone think that DCS is real life, he's just saying if this scenario was real it would be scary for the enemy
There are people who believe Tom Cruise was actually flying that F/A18. Yes, I do believe some people think its real (or at least they want to believe it)
The music that plays when the "5th Gen Fighter" makes an appearance in Maverick, is more applicable to the F22. Lurking in the shadows, picking of unsuspecting victims... love it.
Talk about anxiety inducing. My dad is a former Navy avionics tech and he and I really enjoy watching and talking about your missions. Keep up the great work.
This feels like some CoD stealth-campaign where when you get spotted you instantly fail xD I like it! You should do the same thing with something that carries more missiles, the F-15C maybe... It won't have the stealth to keep you hidden, but it still might work, and wreaking havoc from behind the enemy is always fun to do and watch :D
day 1 of asking. Whatever you choose to do don't do any of the suggestions of the people who think they need to include the number of days they have requested a certain fight. Just posting for a friend.
Suspenseful, cinematic, gorgeous visuals. Mission theme reminds me of playing old stealth missions on TFX aiming to avoid contact, they were fun sneaking around the valleys to hit ground targets. More please, very enjoyable to watch, and well directed and produced. Thank you!
alot of f-22 action lately, i like it! I think an updated buyers guide is much needed, cause there hasn't been any good ones in the last couple years and so many of the modules have had big updates. Good content lately!
I can't fathom how cool it would be to engage in such a mission within a dynamic campaign. I'm so ready for Eagle Dynamics to release something like that!
These surgical, behind enemy lines, more authentic uses of the F22 are awesome. Would be even cooler to see at night. Maybe even during a thunder storm. Pretty sure ARMA2 had a mission like that with an Apache. Had to fly through valleys at night before hovering and using thermals to ID and destroy a VIP in a convoy behind enemy lines. Love the work!
I'm impressed at how you spot things so easily, like i couldn't see the first group of migs until you zoomed. You have excellent vision or just situational awareness, anyways, great video.
In the runaway scenario, my biggest concern was the Mig-31 instead of the Felons, because it was designed for the high-speed intercept (actually, the Russians designed it against the SR-71 if I know this correctly).
The mig-25 was specifically designed to intercept the sr-71. The mig-31 is an evolution of the mig-25. So depends on how you look at it you could say the mig-31 was designed for that.
@@NathanIrizarry1The MiG-25 program started before the USSR knew about the A-12, let alone the SR-71. It was designed to intercept supersonic bombers and spy planes, but not the SR-71 specifically.
It (Mig 25) was conceived as a Valkyrie Hunter if I'm not mistaken. I probably am, but I seem to remember reading that the B-70 specifically played a role in the design parameters of the Foxbat.
I loved this. This is exactly the mission I imagine for a classic F-22 sortie. Stealth, multi-target launches in TWS, supercruise egress... What other airframe could execute this flight plan?
f 15 and f 35, with obvious adjustments to the strategy of the mission of course, the f15 would probably have a wingman and they would probably shoot everything down by fire volume, the f35 would probably have a wingman too but it would be more selective with its targets, probably would only engage the felons at most
Imagine multi million dollar fighters and multi billion dollar SAMs cant see you but while flying low a lowly private rocking a Igla/verba or manning a ZSU-23-2 shoots you down through the power of MK-I eyeball
the thing about the F-22 is if there are multiple baddies. It needs to use TWS, which means it would have to get in even more closer. By then you are already emitting. I guess it's benefit is getting the first shot off which by then it would bleed speed from needing to climb from those mountains

Day 17 of asking for F-18 Close air support. GS you choose the variant
As proficient as the F22 is at stealth and being a capable missile platform defensively, I still get the anxiety rush associated with GS's missions. I'll buzz for an hour or more. Thanks !
try doing this but with the felon against nato stuff
Hey Growlingsidewinder, could you do a fight between the harrier & f-22 or apache?
Need to see a dogfight series of F-18 Hornets or super Hornets V Delta Wing fighters (gripen, typhoon etc..)
*Guy driving a Lada in the middle of nowhere*
"Was that an F-22 that just flew 40ft over my head?"
He gon say 10 metres
F-22 was lucky to leave unscathed.
Then the lada breaks down
it was tristan
If the Navy had F-22's, Top Gun Maverick would have been a ten minute webisode. Maybe fifteen.
Or f35s
Well he would still need to do Penny, so make it 15 minutes 30s.
@@nicolaeionescu6538 fair enough lol
Is that 15:30 with the credits? 😅😂

Exactly. If it wanted you dead you already would would be
I feel like if you ran this mission with an F-15E, it would be more of a case of "no one will notice if there's no one to notice."
AMRAAMS for everybody! You get an AMRAAM and you get an AMRAAM!
@@King63Kobra ROFL :D
Actually, it would be fun to watch the same scenario with different planes
F-15EX especially
That’s why the f15E is my home :)
I just LOVED the look and feel of this mission - cool, exciting and scary all at the same time!
More like this please, GS! 🙏🙏🙏
Same
yessssss
It’s not scary in the f22, with a good pilot that knows his aircraft.
@@erikcourtney1834 Perhaps, but NOT being such a pilot... I found it scary. (And fun!)😉

Thanks for the idea.
@@Flakeytie Hey, just doin' what I do, man. Thanks.
Imagine how scary it is to be a pilot in any non-NATO Air Force flying around with a literal ghost plane lerking, and you’re just at its mercy.
Dcs is not real life
@souvikdey6648 who said it was? They were pretty explicit. What they described was being an enemy combatant in the vicinity of a hostile F22.

This isn't a NATO plane.
Could almost be a movie with that panoramic setting. Well done once again, G/S.
well said
Totally agree - watched it twice in a row just for the visuals! ❤
Those MiG-29s at the beginning passed over the Valley of the Shadow of Death and didn't even know it.
I think I saw a guy walking in it, wonder who that was
That shot of the Su-57's drifting around was pretty awesome!

"Sneak through these canyons" Ace Combat vibe

Like to imagine the rouge felon pilot ignoring orders to stand down as he’s finally got his shot at a F22 kill 😅
And he didn't know he was dead till his plane blew up.
Omg, so much F-22 content…Pure joy, thank you!!!
Impressed by GS's restraint to not recreate the scene from 'Firefox' by blasting by the nose of one of those civilian airliners.
That would be absolutely terrifying to have 3 of your buddies get blown up by a invisible source and there’s nothing you can do about it 😂
Talk about anxiety inducing. My dad is a former Navy avionics tech and he and I really enjoy watching and talking about your missions. Keep up the great work.

he might need a wing man or 3 to achieve that in an Eagle C
The E is the missile truck. The C is just good for 6 AMRAAMs and 2 Sidewinders, so 2 more missiles than the F-22.
@@SacredCowStockyards F-22 can carry 6 AMRAAMS and 2 AIM-9X's.
Your situational awareness is unreal without radar you have spotted every single enemy without a single one of them spotting you.

My spine tickled when you show the felons turning around

I find it interesting that by 5 min mark you've had 4 situations where if the enemy had 360° IRST, like there is on an F-35, you would've been toast.
