On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

Thanks man! Just started a new job. Gonna order something soon as I’m back on my feet!
Don't worry we all wear tinfoil hats sometimes🎉😂😮😮😮😮😅😊
Does the mirror finish go in place of the RAM coating, or is it an addition? Honestly the mirror coating in theory could be a huge counter to Fox2s. I could definitely see this being something implemented on most fighters. Unless it conflicts with RAM coating.
Could the HARM be used against an AWACS?
Say for whatever reason you were doing SEAD with HARMs and Sidewinders as a payload and got emergency tasked to take out an AWACs?
Day 6 Aking GS to do a F14 dogfight wings retracted>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Making the amrams into air to ground missiles was AAA class
And AAA priced! 😎
Pro gamer move.
Technically AGM class I guess? :D
Done on Basra Highway in '91. Aim 9 was used as anti tank.
“Ride eternal, shiny and chrome”
First off - the F-22 in mirror finish is sick. Also, DCS should update their model so it creates a rooster tail on the water when you pull up that close on the ocean
That shot would have looked even more insane. Hopefully it’s updated in the future.
gs raptor
Yes and absolutely 👍
agreed
Yeah 70,000lbs of thrust 5ft off the water would make for an amazing show.
I love it when you let us know that it’s a real person flying the other jet
To be fair it’s almost always a real person in these videos
@@GrowlingSidewinderIs there a forum where your opponents brag about getting shot down by you? I had him in my sights and he spun around and whacked me! 😂
@@GrowlingSidewinder Even the the bomber convoys or squads of clueless enemy while you're in the f22?
GS really liking the whole “opening the door for the bombers” thing lol. Maybe if we saw some from the other perspective, trying to intercept the bombers while enemy fighters try to clear the airspace?
That's a really good idea, hope he sees this one
Me too!
He actually did that with the Chinese and Russian strategic deterrence videos.
He’s got those already
Technically he did in bear hunt
I live less than a mile away from the runways of a USAFB where B-1s are housed. Those engines are so much louder than any other plane stationed there. Even when they're just testing one, it will sometimes rattle pictures off our walls. It's wild.
I was at the Dayton air show and while walking in a bone flew over a massive parking lot setting off every car alarm.
Wasn't fast or low but when he turned his arse to the lot a crazy symphony erupted.
Swear he did it on purpose. It was hilarious.
Do you live in Abilene or Box Elder/Rapid city? My dad was stationed at Ellsworth in Rapid city so was just curious. I also love the rapid city area. Love Ellsworth also.
I was at Dyess and Ellsworth as an engine guy. What was his job?
It's the same engine the F-16 uses...but there's 4 of 'em on one plane. Just to give you some context on why it's so loud. haha
I bet! 4 afterburning engines. Most planes you hear take off don't have burners, or if they do, they're on a fighter, which I would assume are smaller. Plus... 4 of them!
GS playing with his food again.
Starting to notice a pattern when he's in the F-22
Beat me to it
That J20 trying to go Winchester on you while you can just Neo-dodge all his missiles
Just in DCS to be fair...
What's winchester?

I love watching the 22 play with its food. Like aww, they think they're fighter planes, how cute!
I never get tired of watching the F22 terrorize enemies and this video was extra entertaining. Loved when you were toying with the flanker and pulling up so close to the water was insane. Keep the F22 videos coming!
5:36
"You could have done that sooner..."
"I want to understand the enemy."
"I also wanted to see how long it'd take them to notice me"
They picked the most impending sounding alarm. Imagine hearing that and seeing a raptor in full dive slinging missles at you. 😱
An absurd number of rounds went into that Flanker carcass.
5:25 - Supremely confident, the Raptor driver toys with his prey...
5:55 - And this is why we don't play with our food!! "Ohhh don't hit the water, don't hit the water...."
"Pilot debrief, your telemetry shows a minimum altitude in mission of 3 metres. Talk me through that if you don't mind"
I uhm … got into some wake turbulence.
@@JunKus3R "i was thirsty :("
My oldest brother was crew chief for a Bone during Enduring Freedom. Absolutely kick ass aircraft and I urge anyone with the opportunity, to go to an air show and see this thing up close.
Funny enough, I actually have gotten to see the B-1 in person. I think it's a really cool airplane, I even have a little one of my own!
Or, remain at a great distance from them and HEAR them on a molecular level. Loudest damn plane I ever heard.
I was very lucky to see a B-1 take off from a runway next to where I was standing. It's so loud it's incredible. I also got to go inside one since I was working on the jamming systems at the time at Edwards AFB.
@@davidwald2845 @zymuralchemy It really does sound like the Space Shuttle, almost. You can feel it, physically.
@@yeahright5227 seeing something the size of a 737 maneuver like a fighter is incredible
that merge with the flanker was sexy
I was hiking in New Mexico in 2014, when I was on a mountain I saw a B-1 fly by very close at eye level. Super cool
My grandpa refueled the very first long distance test flight of the Bone out of Tonopah. They refueled over the PNW, he told me about it about a year before he died. He got a Skunk Works patch for that flight.
Oh man the stories outta that place
F-22 playing with its food again. Never gets old.
This whole video is F-22 saying: "Can't touch this."
"Fox three, fox three...or should I say Rifle, Rifle?" That and how close you got to pancaking on the water cracked me up.
imagine looking out of your Barrick window and there's just an F-22 circle in your base
That alarm was so unnecessary. I'm sure the troops scrambling for their gear were alarmed enough lol
The soldiers chillin in the barracks:
The F22 circling the base like a fucking horror movie antagonist:
That called shot on the flanker's wing had me rolling. And then the AMRAGMs made me cry, as an American taxpayer 😂
I remember watching video clips on the news as a kid of the Soviets in Afghanistan having run out of surface to air missiles so they would make a low pass over the target popping flares and then a second jet would fire Fox-2's into the target illuminated by flares. I guess you can do it with Fox-3's as well.
The mirror coating reminds me of the spaceship in that 80’s movie, The Flight of the Navigator 👍
The BONE is such a majestic looking aircraft. Easily one of my favourites. Saw one at AADE2000 and it does handle like a fighter.
so correct! and how loud it is just makes it that much more epic. love them so much! The profile of one raging in canyons full sweep at speed is somthing to behold. so beautiful
Best DCS content creator... I really enjoy watching your videos and also learn from them... Keep it up!! 💙
That F-22 mirror finish is slick. Damn.
These mission vids are epic! They're like little movies.
C-17s configured in Rapid Dragon missile truck mode being escorted by an F-22 would be a fun mission.
Five pallets of nine missiles each for 45 total per C-17.
GS really about to turn that F22 into a jet ski. So so so close to the water, I legit got a pit in my stomach watching that. Nice flying.
Wish to see you doing it from the other side perspective, to demonstrate how difficult it is to face the f22’s.
You've not seen him get startled by a raptor?? You should look it up... It's particularly hilarious.
@@mattmanyam Huh? I got another RWR warning, 6 o'clock. What would that be?
@@tarkalak Doesn't matter... It won't go as planned.
You’re cocky, undisciplined, and highly irresponsible with this equipment. I love it!
Nice to see the BONEs in flight. the Lancer is a graceful bomber.
best dcs content creator by far. in the middle of making my own set-up. its a bit cursed (not head tracking) but im having fun with it. tysm for getting me into the sim
Dude I’m jealous!
I’m stuck between a bass boat/atv/side by side and a dcs set up
Its believed that not only does The Metallic Coating drastically reduces IR signature and slightly reduces RCS but also allows The Raptor to accelerate and maintain higher speeds without having to worry about melting off the RAM!
I like watching you play with your food, a raptor needs to have some fun!
Gotta love it when the A-22 fires those AGM-120s 😂
That mirror finish looks sick. Great modelling.
Great mission. AMRAAM new function: unlocked.
Haha that fatality of the Flanker and him trying to gun you while spinning was War Thunder levels of funny. The cinematic in this game are so smooth and polished. I can’t believe DCS has been around since 08. Impressive.
Oh, Lord..... I LOVE these F-22 combat missions! 😀
Holy Hell, that F22 looks AMAZING with that reflective coating on it.
You have dead man walking. That second Flanker was a dead man flying. GS was having fun toying with him there.
I have learnt two important things and one disturbing thing.
1. To survive an air to air encounter with the F22 your eject switch 'accidentally' went off, don't know how🤷🏽♂️
2. To survive an F22 on the ground check out that strange perimeter breach you thought you saw, way over there.
3. I am not attracted to any object with one glaring exception.
The view from the ground of the Amrams coming in hot had the feeling of Rods from God!
Honestly, that Lancer bomb run was more impressive looking than the Stratofortress carpet bombing from the other day.
With how close he got to the water, that was crazy! Masterful flying, yet again.
GS, I would love to see the Panavia Tornado in DCS. It’s an iconic plane, gorgeous in looks and deadly in operation. You think you could pull some strings mate??? ✌️👍👍🤞🤞🤞
From another video I saw recently, it is on the way. Not sure which variants, maybe the GR.4 and the F3, but it is certainly in the works
Hey GS would like to see you fly Fat Amy with meteors and see how effective that is
Will Meteors fit inside the weapons bay, or would they need to be carried on external rails?
@@truthseeker9454MBDA is working on a version that’s compatible with the 35 for the RAF. The size is supposed to fit in the weapon’s bay already, just need a slight modification on the fins or smthg from what I’ve heard.
@@tommanh1302 That's very interesting to know, thanks for sharing your knowledge!
The mirror finish on the 22 is wicked awesome! And effective apparently.
What is interesting in this B1 strike is that one C-130 with that new Red Dragon missile system could have done the same job.
I think they call it Rapid Dragon.
@@Generic_Name_1-1 what? You do know that the Rapid Dragon system means it is launching say two dozen cruise missiles from over a thousand miles away from say 20,000 feet or more. That is some ground fire you are talking about.
Love watching the raptor play with it's food.
You know you are killing them with the F22 when you finally unlock 10 prestige with the aircraft and get platinum skin!
The F-22 is just amazing. How about a century battle, a squadron of Fokker Dr1 vs a single F-22.
"Not like this, not like this!" Lol that was a close one buddy. Nice moves!
10:01 sirens going off and you see a silhouette of an F-22?! Fcuk that.
Everything about this video was amazing, the chrome raptor, the gun kill, flying mere feet above the water, the use of AMRAAMs as AGMs, etc. Congratulations of 500k!
So cool to see the shots from the F22 hit the water on the bottom left of the screen at 5:04 and on.
I am giddy when I see F22 in the title. So fun to watch!!
Asking a MIG to dogfight a Raptor is like pitting a toddler against Mike Tyson in a boxing match.
WHAT A VIDEO!!! Absolutely amazing, a cinematographic experience. The surprise by the flanker, nearly hitting the water, narrowly dodging the missiles, AGM AMRAAMs, this one just has everything! Thank you GS
5:37 An F-22 playing with its food, thanks to GS.
Another awesome video. Really love these. Mirror effect Raptor was nice touch
So cool this missions protecting and cleaning way for bombers.
6:32 insane licking water.
All around brilliant! In my opinion one of your best vids yet!👍👍👍
The B-1 is quite cool. It's apparently rather stealthy - has the radar profile of a seagull.
When the B-1 first came out, apparently the soviet AF poomped a brick. They saw it as a bomber with the performance characteristics of an interceptor. They were not pleased.
Literally within a couple FEET of the water on that first kill. Where it looked like not only was he trying to gun you after you removed his wing, but maybe trying to take you out with his ejection seat as well.
I'm amazed that head on pass with the flanker wasn't a mutual kill, also air to ground amraams brilliant.
Raptor playing with it's food, I like it.
"Don't play with him, Bubba!"
"Easy- I know what I'm doing."
All the Raptor content
🇺🇸🤙🇺🇸
Loving the chrome reflective paint job, if nothing else looks pretty awesome
@ 5:45 GS goes for MAXIMUM entertainment. His CO calls him in for questioning why he didnt take the shot and ironically for more training....
That close call over the drip was SICK!
The way you dodge 3 missiles in a row like it’s absolutely nothing and then hit the J20 first-try is mind-blowing.
Everything you did from the finish to the barrage of missiles on that radar tower just reminded me on starscream
There will never be a more beautiful F-22!
I used to be board admin at A-10 org. I have been told by more than one USAF fighter pilot that anything the radar can lock onto can be engaged with a sparrow or amraam missile.
Watching a Bone take off is an epic site.
I like the paint job, this is one of my top 5 favorite episodes from your channel!
omg bro... you've got me in tears...
"I think I'll remove his left wing..."
"Fox 3... Fox 3... Should I say Rifle? Rifle... Rifle..."
🤣
I love that they basically chromed out the F-22, and it's actually MORE stealthy.
No its not, its an arcade. In reality such skin will reduce his stealth ability. Real F22 is covered by RAM - Radar Absorbent material ... absorbent ... not reflective :)
When GS flies an F22 he tends to play with his food; when he's in an A10 he punishes everything......including outhouses.......he makes watching fun no matter what the mission!
Love to see the F-22 content
Didn't think the F-22 could be sexier! GS never disappoints...TY! 👏
When I was a kid, I got a chance to see the Lancer on Vancouver Island. Your ribcage rattles when it flies by. That is all
J-20 is not an air superiority fighter. It is an interceptor. Think of it as an stealthed next generation MiG25/31. The aircraft is clearly designed for BVR engagement and long range endurance. Air superiority could be achieved in many ways I guess, as eliminating aerial refueling tankers, cargo planes, troop transports, AWACS assets, ELINT assets, bombers from far range do remove alot of an airforce capacity to function.
Secondarily, it has good air-ground potential, and with the long range, makes a very nice maritime strike anti-ship aircraft.
LoL GS just can't resist playing with his food.. looks like so much fun keep the great videos comin
The view from the ground of the Amrams coming in hot had the feeling of Rods from God!
It be neat if the B-1s could carry some form of missiles that can be launched and guided by a forward fighter. Think of a few Tomahawk missiles being fed targeting info from a F-22, separating from the B-1 and doing its thing to strike the designated target.
The purpose of the mechanic is to preserve the stealth of the F-22 by not requiring weapons on External hardpoints. While also allowing the F-22 to preserve its internal weapons.
Yeah that’s more of an F-35 thing already, so the concept already exists, but is cool regardless!
Concept and operational capacity exist.
That livery makes Raptor look like a transformer haha
So... I see you took my encouragement to "play with your food" and ensure it is well chewed to heart...
Nice 😂
You went from maximum disrespect to almost FAFO in the space of 30 seconds. LOL
I love that the F-22 literally just fucking drifts and power slides.
Would have been cool to see the F-22 using the Small Diameter Bomb... though in the fly conversion of the AMRAMM into an A2G missile was entertaining as well lol
Clad in finest beskar, the F22 is finally ready to fight for the glory of Mandalore.
GS out here knocking out flankers and cooking fish. Was that awesome? YES, CHEF!
Raptor plays with it's food before dinner.
I see so many videos that mention retiring the f22 , which would be crazy, even though expensive. The warthog is still in service well over expiration.
What not to like in this video? All is excellent.
