No time limit, once the heist has started and you start doing the prep work, it'll save the hard difficulty.

If i finish a heist with my friends when will i get the next heist request on hard mode

If your waiting for it online do you have to be in the game or no?
No matter if your in freeraom, in a job or not even on the game. The timer will still go down.
does the cooldown time change if i’m playing with friends or solo?
ye, if you do it with 2+ players, you only wait a few minutes not the 3 days

What is the difference having hard mode on? Also can you turn the hard mode off if you want to do it normal but still in the 48 min window?
No, you can't turn it off unless you just cancel the whole heist and restart. But they get more money, and there is no actual difficult change
The only difference is you have to do more fingerprint hacks
