I got to the tower and there was no signal box. i somehow didn't grab the ladder and fall to my death. then it respawns me at the start of the mission. I'll stick to the vehicle warehouse. easier money
for the people stuck at the first gate on the island: Wait until the car drove by and the guard on the tower, JUST started to look away from you, and then run through the door like he did. Hide behind the little Hay Boxes until the next car passes. Then follow his steps 🙋♂️ he did a cut right there and it was VERY confusing for me in the beginning. now im doing it blind lol ❤
I was stuck for a couple of minutes then I realized the camera was behind the building the hardest part about this mission is ignoring the fact that the line of vision is on you
I prefer driving through the field on the left while approaching the gate and jumping over the hill on a manchez scout, might fail the first few times but once you figure out how to line up the jump it's really easy and A LOT faster than going through the gate. I even got to the point where I'd do big flairs or flips to hit the jump with style.
Pro-tip for newbies: If your cover is blown during the final section, just let the guards kill you and you can try it again. Quitting out through the menu will force you to redo the entire mission from scratch, which is a huge pain. You will make slightly less money for an imperfect finish ($1.5M instead of $1.6M), but it's well worth being able to quickly retry the final section as many times as you need to get your timing perfect and escape undetected.

@saturn580 this didn’t actually work for me when I was completing the heist - EVERY time that I was spotted by guards in the final section the guards stayed alerted and kill me. any idea why it was so hard!
@@dragon_warrior4769 when you get the photos does Pacel say they’ve blocked the entranced where you came from if so then you need to run quickly to the elevator because there’s gone be a cam or something that’s gone see everything underground which will spot you but if you go to the elevator and go back to the office you won’t be seen
Just a tip: when you are leaving cayo perico, and you’ve jumped off the ledge that TGG did (to the right of him in the video), there should be a trio of sea mines, in a triangle, and if you swim towards them you can escape the island quicker.
He knows all of that too. But he does not want shove these R star's face so they don't try to fix it sometime and you also did the exact same thing now
Good guide. Just one correction during the finale. When leaving the compound, after you kill the guard for the motorcycle, you don't need to do anything other than drive for the cliff. Once you've gotten out of the compound with the primary loot without being detected, you're golden. A body being spotted won't make any difference for elite challenge at that point and I've never had that body spotted when driving for the cliff because I go straightaway, before the guard can even make it to the body. Just drive off and swim for the whale skeleton just past the three mines and you're done.

I tend to prefer the kosatka approach as it spawns you in a scuba suit and enter the compound directly. From there I can grab whatever secondaries on the way out depending on what I found in my scoping mission.
the main advantage to the longfin mission is the setup mission is the quickest. It also lets you pull up to the airstrip and grab the secondary loot quickly before entering the compound and taking the bike shortcut off the cliff. It's definitely the quickest all around way.
You don't actually need scuba suit cause you get 20 rebreathers at the start of the heist. And getting secondary loot before entering the compound and then finishing the heist by jumping of the cliff seems much faster and safer for me
@@LanaBanana-y4i Scuba suit makes you swim faster. But I agree, grab your secondary loot first. Idk why TGG bothers with any of the enemies after jumping on the bike. You will be long gone before they see the body
If you go to the beach party and walk along the rocks to the left. You can eventually swim around to the main dock and run to the tower without being detected. It’s also relatively fast. I’ve been doing it since the heist was released and it’s never failed me
What I do once I’m out of the compound and escaping is instead of killing those guards, I just run between the left most guard and the one standing by the bike. Weave a little bit to avoid the one in the car, get to the edge, jump off and swim away. The video still helped me because I was nervous to try after the huge nerf happened. Thanks TGG 🙏
I know no one asked about this but I just wanna tell how I got rich. I got gta5 around November 2021, I was playing it not because of the story mode but also to chill with the bois in gta online. When I got that 2 million, I bought the Kosotka knowing I can make millions from it but I didn’t touch it for a couple of months. Fast forward to 2 or maybe 4 months I decided to watch some guides and learned the basics of it to do the cayo perico setups and heist and invited my brother along the way (It didn’t take time for him to leave lol). In my first try on doing solo cayo perico heist,I did not fill my bag, so yeah I just told myself that I can do better the next time and yadayada. Using the money I got from the heist, I bought the helicopter of the Kosotka but I didn’t have enough money to buy the missiles, so I had my second try and I got the money then I bought the missiles. Then I saved up enough money from the cayo perico heist to get the missile station of the Kosotka (I hate that damn Merry Weather mission) then I grinded with all the things I have and thats how I got rich. Sorry if my English is lowkey kind of bad. Rn I just do the cayo perico heist myself when I need the money and I just play gta online for entertainment. (I convinced my brother to do the cayo perico heist and he made millions from it, but as I said, it didn’t take time for him to stop doing it). Btw I recommend the oppressor mark one and the scramjet to not be bored.
Hey TGG, Love your vids. You are my main source for GTA news and I appreciate that. I wanted to add a tip on the safe code prep mission at the casino. Go in unarmed, the enemies won't engage you unless you are armed or assault someone. Find dude with the safe code and walk up to him and retrieve the code with whatever key you're prompted with ("e" on PC). Once you do, everyone will be pissed and attack you. Let them kill you. You will respawn outside the casino with nobody after you and, since the safe code only needs to be known (not held), you complete the mission successfully.
Man.. thank you so much. Managed to nail this on my 2nd try. Also just to share the only guard I killed was at the end with the bike. Killed him and drove the bike off the cliff. It took a while for the cut scene to hit and an attack chopper came after me but I swam around and finally got it. Thank you again for putting this video together. Huge help.
I highly suggest scoping out the shed on the west side of the main docks. I know it's in a different order when you scope out the island for the first time but I'll scope out the airfield first, go to the communications tower, parachute off the top, right onto the roof of the shed, drop in through the hole then let a guard catch me so I can get sent back to the airfield to leave the island. Probably a pretty similar order for your first run once you hit the communications tower. Somewhat good odds coke will spawn at it and it's an extremely easy spot where you can just drive the boat up a little to the right of the main docks, run to the shed, take out the camera in front of it, loot it then run back to the boat with only 1 guard you have to make sure doesn't see you, not hard. You can easily go loot it, go to the airfield, loot that too then go to the main compound and finish everything in time to get the elite challenge. I've done it quite a few times now with plenty of time left, a normal run for me is usually anywhere from around 11-13 mins max depending on what spots the best secondary loot (coke followed by weed if you only get one coke) spawns at. I like it cuz it's a good place to easily grab coke or weed fast enough to still get elite if you want the best secondary loot possible too and it doesn't all spawn at the airfield.
Set your spawn location to your kosatka, and then once you get all your heist info instead of getting caught and flying back on the plane and then summoning the sparrow to fly to the kosatka you can save time by finding a new session as soon as you get the info ans youll just reload and spawn into your kosatka
I’ve been looking through the comments to see if someone mentioned this. At the main dock there’s a shed that has three tables in, one with coke, one with weed and one with cash, I’m thinking I should just go for that and then to the main compound? I was seeing if it was doable and you’ve suggested doing exactly that, minus the fact that I won’t need to go to the airstrip :)

Only places at the main docks that I know about are the shed with the hole in the roof where there's a camera on a pole out front during the heist, the one right next to that boat on land then the one that requires 2 people to open it to grab the loot. I thought they all had only 2 tables each but I haven't really paid attention to the last one cuz I usually just run cayo solo. Only one I ever go for is the first one, the 2nd one almost always gets me spotted and the 3rd one I can't open alone so I don't even bother with it...
@@Blunt_Man I’ll go back to gather intel and double check, I am certain that there is a place on my setup that has three tables with the three products I mentioned, and I only had two spots that have cocaine so unless it’s the one on the east side of the island and I’ve got it muddled I’m not sure, I’ll double check before trying it
@@uprisegamer1263 Yeah, let me know for sure! After running cayo like 50 times, I should know all the areas and the number of tables, at least in the areas I scope out. I usually just do the airstrip and the one shed at main docks then the shed at the weed field occasionally just cuz it's on the way to the communications tower. Lately, if I get gold at the West storage in the compound, I know exactly how much coke I can grab first while still getting a full table of gold too so I try to just do the door glitch and get the best secondary loot possible. It's a bit of a challenge but definitely possible to do while also getting the elite challenge. Usually I'll set a timer so I have an idea if I'm taking too long and I'll just restart if I am cuz that door glitch can be real hit or miss and take several tries to get but that gold and extra 100k is worth it. I've got basically everything I want by now besides like 3-4 vehicles so I'll usually just go for the most money whenever possible. I try to sell my bunker and full acid in a full lobby with the acid named too for that extra 5% bonus plus the high demand bonus and if I get griefed, I just shut the game down before it saves. At this point, cayo, my bunker, acid lab, street dealers and keeping my nightclub popularity full is my routine and I can easily make about 2.5-3 mil in about 3 hours. I need to start also sourcing cargo every 45 mins when I'm online cuz when they do 1.5X or 2X payouts, 5 full large warehouses is one of the best ways to make a huge amount of money fast.
A bit of a veteran move is to utilize job warping when doing the setups. It greatly reduces my time having to go all over the map. You can find videos on how to job warp. It can be a little tricky at first but just like cayo you will become a pro at it in no time.
Job warping is super easy on console I have a wired controller so it’s even easier the only thing is to remember to search for a job befor starting setup
2 man - 85/15 split (buddy up help one another with dual heists) 3 gold gives best take. Solo, 3 Weed gives $3k more than 2 Coke due to loot capacity, so the order you recommend while close is not quite accurate. Final heist (same overall final take as the buddy split). Hard mode offsets the final 10% take. Full stealth no reset in 11 minutes on buddy mode, 13 mins full stealth with secondary loot solo. Approach Kotsaka - gives Scuba outfit, and faster swim/unlimited breathing (you can steal passing boat to reach top of island to get secondary loot). This makes escape faster and easier when exfiltrating. Gate key drops from 3 innermost (red view cone) guards. You did take subterranean like I do which was a good move. Approaching tower, your path is too risky, instead take Leftmost path, following up stairs, then small stairs, until you see 2 guards talking (in solo, leave them or fast headshot both), wait for guard walking route around corner to pass by and headshot him when he is not in sight to alert guards, run through/past loot room and past gardening equipment, under small bridge. Halt, shoot stationary guard on tower headshot, may drop key. wait for guard to right (undercroft patrol) to leave, run under, hard Left to stairs go collect key, wait for second tower guard to stop in position you correctly displayed, shoot in head (key drop) then up tower await final guard headshot/evade. Go to room collect safe contents (keycard if doing buddy method for gold). Exfil down stairs directly over rail into undercroft (as you displayed here). Much more efficient than the first version you released earlier this year. Great video. Give my route a try. :) Peace out!
with the new nerf for cayo that detects dead bodies, i feel the heist actually go a lot faster than before where you r&g through the compound. However im in total disapproval of the cooldown as this is a way of rockstar literally telling its players that no grinding only shark cards.
For people who like to grind for hours I can understand, it must suck, but personally I only play for a couple of hours per day. I'll do the hesit then knock out some crate runs at my warehouse and make an extra half million before logging off. Rolling in cash.
By the time the dude in the car finds the body you’ll already be out of Cayo perico but you can still take him out just to be save, it will however take up some time so depending on how fast you do the airstrip and compound you’ll either fail the élite challenges and not get the bonus money or pass like the GOAT just did

@@ChristianMena-ik4lu how is this easy? This is a 24 minute video of a mission that a beginner would take many hours to complete. I have never done this, im a beginner but this mission seems extremely hard and time wasting. Wouldn't it be faster to do other missions that are easier?
Man, Im just glad that I got out of money grinding in this game almost 2 years ago. Reading and seeing the "fixes" they did to this heist made me appreaciate more the hundreds of millions I made during lockdown 🤣
It's still grindable even with the "fixes". I completed a Cayo twice yesterday with elite challenge no sweat. That said, it's always good to stop grinding because you made more money than you can spend. If anyone wants a loan, come see me.
18:08 Killing the guard there doesn't always work because the guard that spawns by the car detects the body and sounds the alarm (which annoyed the hell out of me whilst trying to adapt to the new meta).
Yh it happens to me all the time even if the body is behind the wall to hide from the Juggernaut, it will always get detected by a fresh guard that spawns after u take the primary loots so at this point we either have to kill the juggernaut in order to kill that guard with red vision or just ignore them, personally I would ignore them unless that guard is the one holding the gate key then I will have to kill juggernaut n kill that guard as long as that guard is in position of standing behind the wall facing the stairs in front of him not the gate door

Not sure if you covered this in a later video, but I would do the weapon loadout setup first since you have the chance of leaving the session if you get the Merryweather HQ location. Once you get a location that's not MW, fast travel to the Vespucci Beach location with the Kosatka (if needed) and then navigate through the canals to the dock at the base of Higgins Helitours. Since the Kosatka will remain there for the duration of the equipment setups, simply "borrow" one of the nearby choppers to complete them faster. Finally, complete the Longfin approach setup LAST so you spawn in the Kosatka in a new lobby, and begin the Finale.
Watching this without the kosakta👏🏾 3 weeks ago I had nothing today I own the kosakta a hanger 10m a toreador a facility lol I feel up I’m on lvl 59 from nothing all I can say is it’s possible there are really nice guys in this game who are here to help out the poor ones
Also, a good tip if you don't wanna spend money on a $1.8 mil sparrow, you can spawn the SuperVolito from the interaction menu when you register as a VIP for only $10K and it won't despawn.

I usually take out one guard only, the one with the motorbike at the very end, I prefer dodging all guards before that. Also, you can jump off the stairs at the office, and the guy next to you will never turn back, however, you must watch out for the juggernaut (on hard mode only) and the guard watching the spot where you gonna fall. Once clear, jump over, kiss the ground and you are gone.
I did my first Cayo last night thanks to this guide. It wasn't a completely smooth or flawless run, but I got the job done. May go for it again, even despite the nerfs.
Ah, so there WAS a nerf. I spent an entire day setting up for this only to get 1.1m. Doing the main Agency story, I get 1m for 3 hours of work. Looks like the Agency is a better money making method now
I followed this guide exactly, and got it done with relative ease. I got seen on the last truck somehow, but even then I just swam away pretty fast and took a little bit of damage.
For the safe codes: If you kill the to guards in front of penthouse at the same time (with the silenced sniper) you can just walk to the guy and loot the codes then he will kill you and you spawn outside the casino. The security wont shoot at you unless you attack them :)

A quick tip, if you jump off the same ledge that he does in the video. There will be a patch of clear grey stone nearby where the mines are. Swim to there and go as close to the sea floor as possible and it will extract you much quicker
I agree with ppl that are saying it’s more difficult than shown in videos, but I think that’s only because ppl haven’t figured out the guard flow yet. I have 1 good entry worked out so far in my week of experience with Cayo. It’s a mod of one of your runs, but have to kill a few extra guys at north dock if good secondary is there. I’m only getting at best $1.1m after fees, but I’m also not waiting long between runs.
@@jariqmcnab2018 because the oppressor mk|| can’t be spawned in the kosatka. If u go to your kosatka with your oppressor u can park it on top of your kosatka, start a prep mission and then use the oppressor to get to your prep mission

Man you made this look so easy. You were so lucky with the guard positions and were able to just run without even stopping. I have followed your exact path and have gotten seen all 5 times.
If you respawn enough their pathing gets screwed up and they’ll start randomly turning slightly when they should be walking straight, so very quickly the little corners become useless

You're probably killing the non elite guards in spots where the 2nd wave of guards that spawn in when you grab the primary target will spot them, or in a spot where the patrolling juggernaut can see them. Do your best to ignore all the normal guards if solo and only kill the 3 elites and even then make sure the first one by the steps is over by the gate when you kill him, not the steps. The juggernaut passes by those steps and will spot him.

I done my first call and I didn’t kill anyone and used the long fin route and drainage tunnel like you but I just waited for them to move bc they can find the bodies now

absolutely dont do it like he does, it doesnt work anymore. everytime you take out the secret data from the safe it instantly activates the alarm and you are fucked. thanks for absolutely wasting 2 hours of my time
Just spent 30+ minutes trying to send the waterway photo to Pavel for it to not work at all. Must’ve sent him 50+ photos from 50+ different angles. Just reset, gotta sit thru all the cut scenes again, wish me luck. So much for 1-2 hours to finish.
You most likely haven’t started the heist, if you just finished preps, you need to go to finale, hit start and it will have a heist lobby options where you can change outfits and all that, after you confirm the settings you can then go to finale and choose your things
It broke and I can't select anything on the final screen, from what i see there is no way to fix it (Edit i was informed that I needed to press the start button first to select stuff, im just stupid)

I prefer going to the mansion first after entering it saves your checkpoint so if you mess up you have nothing to lose and if you manage to leave undetected it saves your progress again and the extra money from the safe is kept then you go to the airstrip take the secondaries and leave its better to do this if you are newer to the game the route in the video is for more experienced players
You have made this the easiest Heist for me yet on my first try . Tyvm , I was kind of scared of it , now I kind of want to explore and see what else I could do . Don’t know yet though cause i hate wasting time.

Also, seeing as he left this out, for anyone who might be having trouble with the guard at @18:24 .. You need to rush that guard asap before he walks down the stairs. Once he walks down he will not walk back up, and if you kill him the other guards will be alerted. So you essentially have to speed run to him after the cut scene where you come up from the drain.

It actually caused me to learn a new way that was so much easier than the old way I used to play it.
It's still very easy even with that update the only shit about it is the cooldown of 2hrs and 48minutes for solo players

I prefer driving through the field on the left while approaching the gate and jumping over the hill on a manchez scout, might fail the first few times but once you figure out how to line up the jump it's really easy and A LOT faster than going through the gate. I even got to the point where I'd do big flairs or flips to hit the jump with style.

Pro-tip for newbies: If your cover is blown during the final section, just let the guards kill you and you can try it again. Quitting out through the menu will force you to redo the entire mission from scratch, which is a huge pain. You will make slightly less money for an imperfect finish ($1.5M instead of $1.6M), but it's well worth being able to quickly retry the final section as many times as you need to get your timing perfect and escape undetected.

@@dragon_warrior4769 when you get the photos does Pacel say they’ve blocked the entranced where you came from if so then you need to run quickly to the elevator because there’s gone be a cam or something that’s gone see everything underground which will spot you but if you go to the elevator and go back to the office you won’t be seen
Doest help if you get gunned down by the helicopters as soon as you spawn, and then when you fail, you accidentally hit continue instead of restart
Just a tip: when you are leaving cayo perico, and you’ve jumped off the ledge that TGG did (to the right of him in the video), there should be a trio of sea mines, in a triangle, and if you swim towards them you can escape the island quicker.

Yup, I've dubbed it "Bermuda's Triangle." Once you reach the center of those mines, you can just stop moving and it'll take you out of the heist.
He knows all of that too. But he does not want shove these R star's face so they don't try to fix it sometime and you also did the exact same thing now

Good guide. Just one correction during the finale. When leaving the compound, after you kill the guard for the motorcycle, you don't need to do anything other than drive for the cliff. Once you've gotten out of the compound with the primary loot without being detected, you're golden. A body being spotted won't make any difference for elite challenge at that point and I've never had that body spotted when driving for the cliff because I go straightaway, before the guard can even make it to the body. Just drive off and swim for the whale skeleton just past the three mines and you're done.

I tend to prefer the kosatka approach as it spawns you in a scuba suit and enter the compound directly. From there I can grab whatever secondaries on the way out depending on what I found in my scoping mission.
How do you get your secondary do you just swim to a different spot before you enter the drain?
But you need 2 people to get secondary in compound
the main advantage to the longfin mission is the setup mission is the quickest. It also lets you pull up to the airstrip and grab the secondary loot quickly before entering the compound and taking the bike shortcut off the cliff. It's definitely the quickest all around way.
You don't actually need scuba suit cause you get 20 rebreathers at the start of the heist. And getting secondary loot before entering the compound and then finishing the heist by jumping of the cliff seems much faster and safer for me
@@LanaBanana-y4i Scuba suit makes you swim faster. But I agree, grab your secondary loot first. Idk why TGG bothers with any of the enemies after jumping on the bike. You will be long gone before they see the body
If you go to the beach party and walk along the rocks to the left. You can eventually swim around to the main dock and run to the tower without being detected. It’s also relatively fast. I’ve been doing it since the heist was released and it’s never failed me

What I do once I’m out of the compound and escaping is instead of killing those guards, I just run between the left most guard and the one standing by the bike. Weave a little bit to avoid the one in the car, get to the edge, jump off and swim away. The video still helped me because I was nervous to try after the huge nerf happened. Thanks TGG 🙏
I know no one asked about this but I just wanna tell how I got rich. I got gta5 around November 2021, I was playing it not because of the story mode but also to chill with the bois in gta online. When I got that 2 million, I bought the Kosotka knowing I can make millions from it but I didn’t touch it for a couple of months. Fast forward to 2 or maybe 4 months I decided to watch some guides and learned the basics of it to do the cayo perico setups and heist and invited my brother along the way (It didn’t take time for him to leave lol). In my first try on doing solo cayo perico heist,I did not fill my bag, so yeah I just told myself that I can do better the next time and yadayada. Using the money I got from the heist, I bought the helicopter of the Kosotka but I didn’t have enough money to buy the missiles, so I had my second try and I got the money then I bought the missiles. Then I saved up enough money from the cayo perico heist to get the missile station of the Kosotka (I hate that damn Merry Weather mission) then I grinded with all the things I have and thats how I got rich. Sorry if my English is lowkey kind of bad. Rn I just do the cayo perico heist myself when I need the money and I just play gta online for entertainment. (I convinced my brother to do the cayo perico heist and he made millions from it, but as I said, it didn’t take time for him to stop doing it). Btw I recommend the oppressor mark one and the scramjet to not be bored.

I wanted to add a tip on the safe code prep mission at the casino. Go in unarmed, the enemies won't engage you unless you are armed or assault someone. Find dude with the safe code and walk up to him and retrieve the code with whatever key you're prompted with ("e" on PC). Once you do, everyone will be pissed and attack you. Let them kill you. You will respawn outside the casino with nobody after you and, since the safe code only needs to be known (not held), you complete the mission successfully.
Man.. thank you so much. Managed to nail this on my 2nd try. Also just to share the only guard I killed was at the end with the bike. Killed him and drove the bike off the cliff. It took a while for the cut scene to hit and an attack chopper came after me but I swam around and finally got it.

I highly suggest scoping out the shed on the west side of the main docks. I know it's in a different order when you scope out the island for the first time but I'll scope out the airfield first, go to the communications tower, parachute off the top, right onto the roof of the shed, drop in through the hole then let a guard catch me so I can get sent back to the airfield to leave the island. Probably a pretty similar order for your first run once you hit the communications tower. Somewhat good odds coke will spawn at it and it's an extremely easy spot where you can just drive the boat up a little to the right of the main docks, run to the shed, take out the camera in front of it, loot it then run back to the boat with only 1 guard you have to make sure doesn't see you, not hard. You can easily go loot it, go to the airfield, loot that too then go to the main compound and finish everything in time to get the elite challenge. I've done it quite a few times now with plenty of time left, a normal run for me is usually anywhere from around 11-13 mins max depending on what spots the best secondary loot (coke followed by weed if you only get one coke) spawns at. I like it cuz it's a good place to easily grab coke or weed fast enough to still get elite if you want the best secondary loot possible too and it doesn't all spawn at the airfield.
Set your spawn location to your kosatka, and then once you get all your heist info instead of getting caught and flying back on the plane and then summoning the sparrow to fly to the kosatka you can save time by finding a new session as soon as you get the info ans youll just reload and spawn into your kosatka
I’ve been looking through the comments to see if someone mentioned this. At the main dock there’s a shed that has three tables in, one with coke, one with weed and one with cash, I’m thinking I should just go for that and then to the main compound? I was seeing if it was doable and you’ve suggested doing exactly that, minus the fact that I won’t need to go to the airstrip :)

Only places at the main docks that I know about are the shed with the hole in the roof where there's a camera on a pole out front during the heist, the one right next to that boat on land then the one that requires 2 people to open it to grab the loot. I thought they all had only 2 tables each but I haven't really paid attention to the last one cuz I usually just run cayo solo. Only one I ever go for is the first one, the 2nd one almost always gets me spotted and the 3rd one I can't open alone so I don't even bother with it...
@@Blunt_Man I’ll go back to gather intel and double check, I am certain that there is a place on my setup that has three tables with the three products I mentioned, and I only had two spots that have cocaine so unless it’s the one on the east side of the island and I’ve got it muddled I’m not sure, I’ll double check before trying it
@@uprisegamer1263 Yeah, let me know for sure! After running cayo like 50 times, I should know all the areas and the number of tables, at least in the areas I scope out. I usually just do the airstrip and the one shed at main docks then the shed at the weed field occasionally just cuz it's on the way to the communications tower. Lately, if I get gold at the West storage in the compound, I know exactly how much coke I can grab first while still getting a full table of gold too so I try to just do the door glitch and get the best secondary loot possible. It's a bit of a challenge but definitely possible to do while also getting the elite challenge. Usually I'll set a timer so I have an idea if I'm taking too long and I'll just restart if I am cuz that door glitch can be real hit or miss and take several tries to get but that gold and extra 100k is worth it.
I've got basically everything I want by now besides like 3-4 vehicles so I'll usually just go for the most money whenever possible. I try to sell my bunker and full acid in a full lobby with the acid named too for that extra 5% bonus plus the high demand bonus and if I get griefed, I just shut the game down before it saves. At this point, cayo, my bunker, acid lab, street dealers and keeping my nightclub popularity full is my routine and I can easily make about 2.5-3 mil in about 3 hours. I need to start also sourcing cargo every 45 mins when I'm online cuz when they do 1.5X or 2X payouts, 5 full large warehouses is one of the best ways to make a huge amount of money fast.
A bit of a veteran move is to utilize job warping when doing the setups. It greatly reduces my time having to go all over the map. You can find videos on how to job warp. It can be a little tricky at first but just like cayo you will become a pro at it in no time.
Job warping is super easy on console I have a wired controller so it’s even easier the only thing is to remember to search for a job befor starting setup
The cutscenes are so painful
2 man - 85/15 split (buddy up help one another with dual heists) 3 gold gives best take. Solo, 3 Weed gives $3k more than 2 Coke due to loot capacity, so the order you recommend while close is not quite accurate. Final heist (same overall final take as the buddy split). Hard mode offsets the final 10% take. Full stealth no reset in 11 minutes on buddy mode, 13 mins full stealth with secondary loot solo. Approach Kotsaka - gives Scuba outfit, and faster swim/unlimited breathing (you can steal passing boat to reach top of island to get secondary loot). This makes escape faster and easier when exfiltrating. Gate key drops from 3 innermost (red view cone) guards. You did take subterranean like I do which was a good move. Approaching tower, your path is too risky, instead take Leftmost path, following up stairs, then small stairs, until you see 2 guards talking (in solo, leave them or fast headshot both), wait for guard walking route around corner to pass by and headshot him when he is not in sight to alert guards, run through/past loot room and past gardening equipment, under small bridge. Halt, shoot stationary guard on tower headshot, may drop key. wait for guard to right (undercroft patrol) to leave, run under, hard Left to stairs go collect key, wait for second tower guard to stop in position you correctly displayed, shoot in head (key drop) then up tower await final guard headshot/evade. Go to room collect safe contents (keycard if doing buddy method for gold). Exfil down stairs directly over rail into undercroft (as you displayed here). Much more efficient than the first version you released earlier this year. Great video. Give my route a try. :) Peace out!
with the new nerf for cayo that detects dead bodies, i feel the heist actually go a lot faster than before where you r&g through the compound. However im in total disapproval of the cooldown as this is a way of rockstar literally telling its players that no grinding only shark cards.
For people who like to grind for hours I can understand, it must suck, but personally I only play for a couple of hours per day. I'll do the hesit then knock out some crate runs at my warehouse and make an extra half million before logging off. Rolling in cash.
By the time the dude in the car finds the body you’ll already be out of Cayo perico but you can still take him out just to be save, it will however take up some time so depending on how fast you do the airstrip and compound you’ll either fail the élite challenges and not get the bonus money or pass like the GOAT just did
Doing the airstrip (3 depots) and then to compound with Longfin takes around 12 minutes. I grind this every week always the same way.

It's still grindable even with the "fixes". I completed a Cayo twice yesterday with elite challenge no sweat. That said, it's always good to stop grinding because you made more money than you can spend. If anyone wants a loan, come see me.

18:08 Killing the guard there doesn't always work because the guard that spawns by the car detects the body and sounds the alarm (which annoyed the hell out of me whilst trying to adapt to the new meta).
Yh it happens to me all the time even if the body is behind the wall to hide from the Juggernaut, it will always get detected by a fresh guard that spawns after u take the primary loots so at this point we either have to kill the juggernaut in order to kill that guard with red vision or just ignore them, personally I would ignore them unless that guard is the one holding the gate key then I will have to kill juggernaut n kill that guard as long as that guard is in position of standing behind the wall facing the stairs in front of him not the gate door

Not sure if you covered this in a later video, but I would do the weapon loadout setup first since you have the chance of leaving the session if you get the Merryweather HQ location. Once you get a location that's not MW, fast travel to the Vespucci Beach location with the Kosatka (if needed) and then navigate through the canals to the dock at the base of Higgins Helitours. Since the Kosatka will remain there for the duration of the equipment setups, simply "borrow" one of the nearby choppers to complete them faster. Finally, complete the Longfin approach setup LAST so you spawn in the Kosatka in a new lobby, and begin the Finale.

3 weeks ago I had nothing today I own the kosakta a hanger 10m a toreador a facility lol I feel up I’m on lvl 59 from nothing all I can say is it’s possible there are really nice guys in this game who are here to help out the poor ones
Also, a good tip if you don't wanna spend money on a $1.8 mil sparrow, you can spawn the SuperVolito from the interaction menu when you register as a VIP for only $10K and it won't despawn.
Sparrow isn't just good because of how fast it is, you can quickly enter the submarine with it

I usually take out one guard only, the one with the motorbike at the very end, I prefer dodging all guards before that. Also, you can jump off the stairs at the office, and the guy next to you will never turn back, however, you must watch out for the juggernaut (on hard mode only) and the guard watching the spot where you gonna fall. Once clear, jump over, kiss the ground and you are gone.

I did my first Cayo last night thanks to this guide. It wasn't a completely smooth or flawless run, but I got the job done. May go for it again, even despite the nerfs.
Ah, so there WAS a nerf. I spent an entire day setting up for this only to get 1.1m. Doing the main Agency story, I get 1m for 3 hours of work. Looks like the Agency is a better money making method now

I followed this guide exactly, and got it done with relative ease. I got seen on the last truck somehow, but even then I just swam away pretty fast and took a little bit of damage.
For the safe codes: If you kill the to guards in front of penthouse at the same time (with the silenced sniper) you can just walk to the guy and loot the codes then he will kill you and you spawn outside the casino. The security wont shoot at you unless you attack them :)

A quick tip, if you jump off the same ledge that he does in the video. There will be a patch of clear grey stone nearby where the mines are. Swim to there and go as close to the sea floor as possible and it will extract you much quicker

I agree with ppl that are saying it’s more difficult than shown in videos, but I think that’s only because ppl haven’t figured out the guard flow yet. I have 1 good entry worked out so far in my week of experience with Cayo. It’s a mod of one of your runs, but have to kill a few extra guys at north dock if good secondary is there. I’m only getting at best $1.1m after fees, but I’m also not waiting long between runs.
If you set your spawn location to your kosatka, after each prep is done you can join a new solo session to get back to your kosatka much faster

Man you made this look so easy. You were so lucky with the guard positions and were able to just run without even stopping. I have followed your exact path and have gotten seen all 5 times.
If you respawn enough their pathing gets screwed up and they’ll start randomly turning slightly when they should be walking straight, so very quickly the little corners become useless

Anyone else just getting caught for no reason?
You're probably killing the non elite guards in spots where the 2nd wave of guards that spawn in when you grab the primary target will spot them, or in a spot where the patrolling juggernaut can see them. Do your best to ignore all the normal guards if solo and only kill the 3 elites and even then make sure the first one by the steps is over by the gate when you kill him, not the steps. The juggernaut passes by those steps and will spot him.

You most likely haven’t started the heist, if you just finished preps, you need to go to finale, hit start and it will have a heist lobby options where you can change outfits and all that, after you confirm the settings you can then go to finale and choose your things

It broke and I can't select anything on the final screen, from what i see there is no way to fix it

@@XoWa31 idk I tried going to a different session, that didn't help, I tried a few other things like leaving the kostka, restarting my game, and it still doesn't work
I found it! You need to press the "start" button 🤣
@@XoWa31 yeah I can press start but i didn't know if it would let me use what I collected, as it wouldn't let me put suppressors on the guns (which is why I didn't press start) thank you for letting me know next time I can I'll start it
Also main dock bugged out for me so I can't spawn there lol

I prefer going to the mansion first after entering it saves your checkpoint so if you mess up you have nothing to lose and if you manage to leave undetected it saves your progress again and the extra money from the safe is kept then you go to the airstrip take the secondaries and leave its better to do this if you are newer to the game the route in the video is for more experienced players

I just wanna say thank you for all of your help, I started this game on my ps3 back then and had to start fresh, haven’t played it in years so starting over on my ps5. It’s been a journey but I just finished the heist and I’m so excited. I would’ve gotten it sooner but my nostalgia made me buy a Hydra lmao. Cheers man

Thank you for this, i was really struggling with the layout of the compound and i just finished it for the first time because of this video.
Also, seeing as he left this out, for anyone who might be having trouble with the guard at @18:24 .. You need to rush that guard asap before he walks down the stairs. Once he walks down he will not walk back up, and if you kill him the other guards will be alerted. So you essentially have to speed run to him after the cut scene where you come up from the drain.
Completed my first Cayo perico today with this guide. Took a few tries to figure it out right but man when it worked it worked
