This is wild!! We stayed in this exact room during our stay there too! Is it room 136 by any chance?
Also if anyone’s wondering how the resort is… you needn’t look any further since it’s literally all you need for a perfect Maldivian experience, but yes it is a bit pricey, specially the food and activities but snorkeling and non motorized activities are provided free of cost which is perfect for a relaxing stay.

Great video, thinking to head back to Maldives soon after staying at St Regis Maldives a few years ago...but maybe a bit less over the top budget wise....
JW Marriott brand confuses me though, as Westin (which they inherited from Starwood) seems more or less on par - weighing up between the two. Looking also at possibly W, but that's another realm of experience (and cost)
Were you looking at brand specific at all?

Hey Nick, i’ve stayed at the JW, St. Regis and the new Ritz Carlton in the Maldives, my personal favourite was the Ritz Carlton which i ended booking with Marriott Bonvoy points. JW is regarded one tier above Westin generally. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the W Maldives.
