I love the combination of the Scottish and the Pakistan influence, like the Drums & the Bagpipes, and the Kilt & the Gharara, its forward thinking & very beautiful.
Me to they do turn out so beautiful but you could do so much more with that money and still have just as beautiful wedding but it is part of there beautiful culture..
This is exactly what my husband, we've been happily married for over 28 years, and I did. The money was spent on purchasing our first home, a Duplex. Purchased for $69,000 and sold for $550,000 during the housing bubble. We then purchased a new home (5bd, 3ba with huge in ground pool) for $125,000, and it's currently worth over a Million dollars. We live very close to Silicon Valley. We wouldn't be where we are now if we had decided to go with a big wedding.
It all came together, and looked absolutely beautiful at the wedding and reception. The most beautiful sight is everyone all dressed up and made up in their special outfits. Everyone had smiles of happiness and joy upon their faces, and that's what everyone worked so hard to see happen. Who wouldn't enjoy being at such an occasion?? Best wishes to the married couples, and their families, and friends.✝️😌🙏
From what I've heard from someone who went through an arranged marriage, the women do have a say. She said she declined someone she didn't like the look of, and once ended an engagement bc she ended up not liking him during the courting process.
I am curious. No judgement here. Why are they arranged with someone out of the country. Why not locally. I am sure there are plenty of single women of the same culture in Scotland or even England or Ireland.
i could never see myself spending so much on a wedding ...i would love an intimate private ceremony and a week or two honey moon first week visiting family that couldn't come second a secret getaway. most of our income will be for our future including children and some for the house
That’s true. But it’s up to them to decide how to spend it. At least they’re spending to enjoy a celebration with family. People have done much worse with money
The things is nobody cried about the money you spent at your own weddings you decided the outcome, it's real none of nobody's business but there's how they want to spend money.....

I love how well the drums and bagpipe go together!
What a beautiful blend of cultures! Loved seeing the groom in his kilt & the drummers in traditional costume with the tartan. Love it
I never knew there is such a large Pakistani society in Scotland of all places.
Loads of Pakistanis all over the UK
This is so beautiful, thank you for sharing your beautiful family ❤
I would prefer the money that this wedding cost to go towards a new home and a phenomenal 2-3 week honeymoon.
Me too but in this Indian/Paki culture guests give cash gifts. If they'd made a trip to Turkey plenty cheap Halal jelly sweets
I agree

The accent...I love it
That is a very thick Scottish accent
Extremely disappointing. They never showed the brides face. Did she have any say in the wedding?

Why wouldn't you set up the tables first and then add the chairs later ... instead of having to move tables around with chairs in the way?

@omg Could you should more Gypsy weddings? 😬
Rather interesting combination, indeed!
They didnt show the bride up close which is 👎.Enjoy ur Honeymoon in Dubai 😊
Isn’t it normally the Bride’s family that makes all the decisions and such???
They're Pakistani. Walima is a Muslim wedding event and you can tell by their names they're Pakistani all of them.
So. If she cook bad everyone in the wedding will know that😊
They show no respect for the chef. What a rude bunch of women. Downright Nasty!
✨💚🌎💚✨
NAMASTE!!
OH MOMMY!!
PUT THE DANG PURSE DOWN!! BAD FORM TO WERE PURSE AT THE TABLE WHILST EATING!!
WHY SHE DO THAT?

Love this series. A perfect example of keeping your culture while integrating. I miss living in Scotland.
So much money spent on this that could help other people in need. 😢
Last thing on a rich mind sadly
