- Al Geiberger Jr visits the Kingdom in Southern California to get dialed into his NEW Stealth & Stealth Plus Carbonwood products.
This is a great example of a player & fitter exchange in order to find the perfect set up for optimal performance.
Once the fitting was complete Al went on to win his first tournament with the new product in play!

Trotties energy is great. Seems like such a fun experience. Such an active mind and he knows every last detail of golf and taylormade product.
Big Energy Guy, especially around golf clubs.
Cheers Brett
Absolutely love watching these Trottie.. Communication between two people that know their business is super valuable to the rest of us
That's great feedback as I'm never sure if dropping something this long is of value to folks but I personally thought this was a good session & hopefully guys can learn from the content.
@@trottiegolf Its awesome content man!
I really enjoyed that look at a Tour-level fit. I could watch Tour pro's hit balls all day long, and to watch Trottie's mind sort the variables was a hoot.
Im really enjoying watching all your video's.. Thank you Trottie...
What you said to him around 9:30 is the most honest talk anyone has probably said to him lately... that goes a long way in being real if you want to improve. Great stuff mate love it!
Respect the honesty and criticism you were giving during this. Always enjoy these.
Look at the tree trunks on the guy he is also packing absolute cake. What a unit.
Great speed, violent sounding impact, great banter!
His shots looks great, the squeezy low launch that just takes off after a while is gorgeous.
His hands are interesting the way he rocks and checks them before swinging, almost like he controls path with the left and speed with his right.
These kinds of videos are why I love golf and watching people get fit
Trottie, that was awesome. Loved the back and forth, learned a lot. Biggest thing I'll take away for my next fitting is to not just smash it but try to visualize the course more which can be hard indoors.
Great swinger .. Al Geiberger jnr
One of the best fittings you have filmed. Keep up the great work
Al is great, good bloke
Great video definitely like the communication between the two of you. Hope to see you do more of this in the future. Keep it up
These are so fun Trottie!! Keep ‘‘em coming
I get Jason Day swing vibes from this guy! Great video Trottie
I got the same vibes.
@@ianporzondek4414 Al loves a J.Day wave
Was fitted on Monday at the Kingdom for the Stealth+. What an amazing place.
Would love to see you fit a mid handicaoer to see the contrast in fitting. Great video
I have worked with the greatest salesmen on Wall St. and Trottie is right up there with them. lol.
5:40 cut .5 inch off butt shaft end as its tipped 1 inch already to lower swing weight and overall weight cause its a little heavy. Play the driver at 45.25-45.00 inch.
Brilliant video being truthful is best way forward.
Iron fitting we need to see !
Great vid
Love this video, the J's on Trottie and Al cap it off.
He got the dress code memo. Nice spot
Thanks for continuously pumping out such great content! I've been binge watching all your videos the past couple months; especially loving the fittings with great players. Can tell how much you love it (and how good you are given the respect these guys show your way). Question: when do you reach for a ~70g shaft vs. ~60g? Is it feel-based from the player, or something you're seeing? For a couple years I was playing the M4 and Tour AD IZ 7x. Liked that combination, especially the shaft. Then last year did a Taylormade driver fitting at my club, and he convinced me to switch to the Sim2 Max and HZRDUS Blue RDX 6s. When I hit it well there is no doubt it's a rocket and a good 15 yards past my previous setup, but that's a big "when". I'm really missing that GD shaft in comparison. Tighter dispersion, still long enough, lower ball flight and spin but far more fairways. 51 years old, 9.1 hdcp, ~109-110mph driver swing speed. I'm tempted to jump into a Ventus Black stiff or Blue X. Obviously it's best to get fitted again, but just curious your thoughts. Cheers mate!
Great comment, glad you’re enjoying
And good speed 👏🏻
You hit the nail on the head. Dispersion, feel, trajectory, performance. THE PLYR ALWAYS HAS FINAL SAY
I’d go Ventus Blue 7X As your start point, the black is boardy for your speed but TRY THEM BOTH
Cheers pal
@@trottiegolf thanks for taking the time to respond! I really appreciate it. 🙏
@@trottiegolf Just wanted to add an update here in case someone else is in a similar situation to mine. I'd been hesitant to spend so much on just a shaft, but last week I bit the bullet and threw down for the Ventus Blue 6x (Velocore). Wow. Just. Wow. Yesterday was only my 2nd round ever with the shaft (+ 3 short range sessions), I hit 3-4 of the best drives perhaps in my life. I'm at 6,500' elevation in Park City, so take these numbers with a grain of salt: #3 slight down-breeze, flat 581 par 5, flushed drive with maybe 5' cut and was left with 245 to a back pin and 217 front edge. #7, 527 par 5, slight into, tight fairway so tee'd down and tried to hit a baby cut, penetrating low cut that left me 194. I could share a few more, but honestly more important to me than the distances I've (re-)gained, is the feel and accuracy. If I want to hit a low cut that gives me a better chance to find the fairway, I'm far more confident to pull that off. If I want to tee it high and see what happens, I feel I can't overpower the shaft and miss it wildly left. It's easily the most intuitive shaft I've ever hit right out of the gate. Bravo Fujikura, and thanks again TG for all the great content and for personally responding to my previous message, which ultimately helped push me towards purchase. SIM2 Max, 9deg played @ 10.5, 45.25", D4
Very informational. Love it. Keep videos like this coming. It's easy to fit a pro. Getting a weekend warrior to hit consistent shots so you can fit his good swing vs his bad swing day is a lot more challenging. The feedback from the player makes it easier too, or so I would think. Surprised you use trackman to fit top level players. I thought the GCQuads were more accurate, especially in spin area. At least that is what I've seen and heard by other top fitters. Any truth to that?
Good feedback thx. No doubt GCQuad has an interest & momentum on tour right now but without doubt TrackMan remains the benchmark & certainly what I will gravitate towards given the choice. I just like the data & the platform & how I can compare individual or groups of shots PLUS the combine stuff is MINT!
I would like to see the iron fitting!
Love these videos. 👌🏾 Mate, if I could get a fitting from you trottie in the kingdom I’d be over the moon.
Fascinating to watch this. 👍
Trottie, If I want to hit fades on my 3 wood or 5 wood, does length matter? Whats better to provide a fade, longer or shorter 3 wood? I know that we have more variables, but besides that, I am interested what huge change does length matter on a wood? Help me please.
length will impact strike location and angle of attack. Assuming a centered strike then shorter will help a fade as it'll make you steeper.
If I'm being honest, I don't like trying to obtain a certain shape through adjusting the length. I think you'd have better results with face angle and lie angle
I am a full Taylormade player, Unfortunately when you order, 3 wood and 5 wood cant be bent to be flat. I order the Stealth 2 fw. Driver with the stealth 2 plus, I can adjust and it was easy for me to fit myself. I noticed that with my P7TW when I order them 2 degrees flat, they shorten the shaft half an inch vs the other set I was playing before that was 2 degrees flat, and don't know why. I am a huge fan of you Trottie and THANK YOU so much for always helping me!!! @@trottiegolf
Shows how hard it is to be a touring professional golfer. Al is nails and the fact he's not out playing weekends on tour seems crazy.
His father was a player who once shot 59 on the PGA tour.
What’s that talk about black v red ball? Just the TP5x v TP5 or does he use a non-TM ball that you are not allowed to mention?
Some lads just refer to the ball models as black or red. Just his lingo
Hmm, I could understand red (tp5x) and blue (tp5) based on the dots on the packaging. Oh well. Thanks for the enlightenment.
@@marcelsow5817 it’s not the packaging, it’s the color of the # on the ball
@@trottiegolf duh, yeah. makes sense. thanks
What irons shafts did he get in to? Also what iron shafts you recommend for someone with 110-113 driver speed? Is that speed enough to play something like x100?
Yes in terms of speed but I don't know the flight or your feels. Al stayed with his KBS Tour 130 X's .... strong boy
Love it great video
How you guys liking the Kai li ? Seems to be really good been playing it for a few weeks now. White numbers with some feel.
Lots of variance in the stealth plus as far as spin rate. IMO great balls are spinning on the low side and so so strikes are spiking a little too high. And then there’s some great ones too. Put those in a recent Callaway head and he’s 1900 on great strikes and 2400 on right misses. You won’t see that 1600 and 2900 in the same head same loft. Not saying it’s a terrible head just doesn’t hold the consistency as well as some others. Found the same things through the last month in my testing as well.
Tough to give real feedback or comment on that without seeing it. Personally it doesn't sound like your fit is nailed but like I say tough to tell
@@trottiegolf has nothing to do with my fit brother these number variances I spoke of are from your video.
@@jwild5360 okay now I follow, but he doesn’t hit a callaway??? We played with setting & shot shape & loft sleeve so the variance is going to be there. In addition Al has 175+ speed it doesn’t take much to move the numbers. Half a groove off and you’ll see that from the driver
@@trottiegolf yes I think u miss read what I was saying. My point was with a newer Callaway head you’d see less variance in spin just do to the design. Not a bash at Taylormade obviously there’s give and take etc..
I also play professionally and hover around 175 178 ball speed on trackman. With the rouge st for example a 2 yard draw spins 1850. A 20 yard fade is only jumping up to 2400. Just less variance in spin is all. Less variance in ball speed across the face as well. That’s been the case for several of us comparing the 2 heads. A little faster in the stealth when its perfect. But a little worse when things are not perfect.
Even if what you're saying is true about the Callaway head, and I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, Trottie works for TM. That comparison will never be an option for this setting. The tour guy will get a head weighted for him with the correct sleeve to minimize those variances.
Trottie is amazing, I think he has dialed everyone in except Piers (he couldn’t get out of his own way that day). I’d love to see what he could do for me.
Piers Ward? Watch the latest driver vid on their channel for an update with him 🚀
@@trottiegolf I saw that video. I started using that technique this summer, it instantly got me an additional 10-20 yards with a draw. I didn’t know you suggested setting up with the driver 6” behind the ball. It works instantly!
Sweet!!! Now let's dial in a top 25.
Did Al switch to new irons yet?
yea he's dialed
Great stuff!
My long iron spin is fine but do struggle spinning the shorter clubs.
Interesting
Golf Ball solves that. TP5
@trottiegolf when you have an issue spinning your longer clubs like 5 iron - driver, would you put them into the tp5x?
Just absolutely striping the ball.
Why do you need a driver when you hit 260 5wood
Cause so,e of the par 4 are 500+. Rather have 7i than 4i into a par 4 with a pin 5 on.
Love to back and forth
How does that work. When you put in in the lower setting the face get more open? Just from a common scene lvl, you would think the blade would close right? Or is that just me being stupid?
Turns face to the right opening face but also turning it down to lower loft. Did my head in few years ago until I just accepted it.

TM said to him get out of the van and sell some equipment now we have to cover the cost to pay the big names we signed 🤣. Next time it is wood carbon !
Swings just like Jason day.
Love to see a fit with a average player who spins it high and wants to keep the ball off the right hand side of the course.
Yea I might have to recruit someone for that
@@trottiegolf me me me!
Get me down there and I’ll buy a whole set from you.
Jr. Veeeeeery sensitive to the loft sleeve adjustment
You know Jr.... he's precious :0)
The Kingdom has everything except extra tees.
Well, Dad never smashed the ball like that!
Geiberger Sr was SO GOOD! Mr.59!
@@trottiegolf Yup, got to see him play a senior event and his ball placement on the fairways was really phenomenal!
He's driving 320 yds and dufus walks in front of his ball path
When it's automatic I think he can walk wherever he feels he wants to :0)
So....to each their own but Trottie goes too far into coach than where he should be and that is club nerd club fitter. Fitting should be about the players feel and not about what the fitter "wants" and there is way too much "want" from Trottie and not enough listening to the player.
Hey really reminds me of Jason Day.
