    Trottie is "top drawer"...not only is he a next level fitter, he is giving swing lessons when the guy's swing coach (assuming the other voice is the players swing coach) is right there. Trottie, I bow to your greatness and passion. Love it that Trottie is not afraid to hit the guy right between the eyes with his opinion....but that is what it takes to take a player to the next level. Cheers from Canada

    Cannot agree more how important fitting is. I got fit for irons 2 weeks ago, for the first time in my life. Nothing like what Trottie provides, just used the 7 iron and took about 15-20 mins. But even that low level fitting provided me with extra 15 yards and like magic brought my incurable left pull back on center without any swing changes, just a better club setup. I was amazed. Well worth it.

    This dude absolutely stripes it…I’m sure he could really become a monster with trot ties guidance. From what I notice trottie never tries to change much just provides/offers players options that best suits them such a benefit from a fitter or a coach. Great advice is work with what your student/player has don’t try to change much when a guy pipes it most of the time.

    I am Handicap 1. However, my experience was similar in a way, but I struggle with spin on my Driver being HIGH and my 3 wood being LOW. So I changed my setup. Stealth plus Driver is 9.0 and 3 wood became 4 wood 16.5 in stealth and 7 wood stealth for the first time in 28 years of playing golf. I wanted to hit a number, and it was impossible with my 3 wood. I am playing now the Fujikura Motore F1 60 X in all my woods. I play all Taylormade since 2008 since I get helped by that great company! I love Taylormade and always will be a HUGE Taylormade fan! • @iammars142
      @iammars142 2 года назад

      Interesting question. Without the context of what they discussed at dinner the night before, it looks like fitting the golfer to the club. However, this guy might have some bigger aspirations than winning his club championship and making it through qualifying for the occasional USGA event. He's probably lights out on a 6600 yard course, but move him to 7200 and he's giving up a lot of distance to guys that swing it just as hard but are way more optimized.

    Surprised that a good player like this struggled to move his driver path whilst essentially playing on the range

    Why didn’t you just have him hit up more with same path and gave him a 7* driver for a power fade? Couldn’t he have achieved similar distance to swing speed ratio?

    • @trottiegolf
      @trottiegolf  2 года назад +2

      He wouldn’t have been able to shallow that much without changing the direction, plus why give up the yardage 🤷🏻‍♂️, also a true power fade would be an inside path with the face held IMO, like Serg
