How Fast Is Visible’s New Base Plan? Speed Test Results!

- Verizon-owned Visible launched two new unlimited plans in August 2022. Here are speed test results from Visible's $30/month base plan, including a mobile hotspot speed test. As a longtime Visible customer, I've found the base plan speeds are the same or better than the previous plan. However, the ping (latency) is much lower thanks to the upgraded network experience. This is what I’m going to sign up for in august. I use a lot of gigs each month on average 150 gigs from downloading and Pluto tv and streaming audio. Hope it works out I need to save a few bucks
How do you like it ?
@@vegasfarmer1521 I had it for a month and the speed was awful. On my iPhone XR I couldn’t even watch Pluto tv. I gave it up after a month.
Is that the 25 dollar plan? For 100 mbs?
Is that good?
I’m looking for a phone for just my streaming and going live on line will this work ?
I got 700mbps in West Virginia earlier today!
I'm still on the old plan.
I'm want
I'm in Coral Bay Pensacola FL 32505 downtown
Help hello please
So I know the download speed for the hotspot is capped at 5mbps but what about the upload speed?
I got metro $25 unlimited plan no hotspot and visible+ $45 a month plan aswell helps with my job
I'm in grand junction co right now even 7 miles out of the city my speeds get deprioritized from early in the morning to past about 6 it slowly speeds up.
And the slowed speeds are real slow under 1 megabyte
I use vpn, improves drastically
How these phone plans work with phone insurance.
tethering mine, get about 50 down, it even says on visible web site tethering is ok
50 down for hotspot? That’s really good
How u get 50 if it’s capped at 5?
@@GlaxisGalaxyYT pdanet I would suppose
how do u tether please
Well tethering is the same speeds as your phone speed...visible Doesn't know if your tethering... But you can't use fire sticks etc which sucks
A few things he glossed over by going so fast , many of these services show higher speeds on the speed-test site , but in real usage is not that high , then notice how SLOW the UPLOAD speed is !
Negative...these are real speeds but they fluctuate tremendously depending on the area you're in. I live in Los Angeles county. I can go from 1 megabyte per second in my apartment to over 200 megabytes per second depending on where I'm at. Visible is not reliable. If you're only using mobile data, I use Wi-Fi in a lot of places I'm at
Visible has come a long way. But at least make it have at least 2 meg download at the lowest. I know when I get hit hard I get no data at all. Even with full bars.
Whats the app he used for the speed test?

Switch from Verizon ?

I was on Verizon much more reliable
I'm running on 4G VOLTE getting 50-60mbps. I'd assume if kalamazoo had 5g it would be better but no Verizon 5g towers around
I have it and have had the old plan and new plan and I can tell you this isnt true, not for us anyway
I get about… 100kbs. Where did I go wrong.

Same
@@treeclimier272 that’s crazy man, because like I don’t even live that far out, I’m in Macon ga and my internet is just horrible all the time, and I’ve tried about literally everything, but yet I seriously can not fix it, but minute I go to the end of my drive way (which is 3 quarters of a mile) it instantly spikes up to around 15! Megabytes, but I just don’t understand at all,
It's the area... in my apartment. I get around one megabyte per second. I could drive two blocks down the street and I'll get 100 megabytes per second
@@ItsChiping me too.. in my apartment. I get around one megabyte per second. I could drive two blocks down the street and I'll get 100 megabytes per second
4g speeds.
I'm not even getting that
