  • My first time running a Glock turned into a complete nightmare. My Gen 5 Glock 34 had constant issues chambering the first round from each new magazine I inserted. By the fourth stage of the day I had changed out my belt and switched back to my Sig P320 that I've ran for the last two years!

Are those SLR magazine plates you were running on your Glock? I run those on my Glock 19 as well as the SLR magwell. I've had feeding issues while using mine, but only when the magazine was very full. Same issue as yours....an early jam.

I'm using Dawson precision EZ off base plates but I'm pretty sure it's the same issue as you're having. We're limited to 10rd magazines here in Massachusetts, but that 10th Rd has a lot of pressure against it. When I tried running the same magazine in my PCC it wouldn't even seat without the bolt being locked back!
