Newfound respect for Flight Facilities. There is no doubt in my mind about these shows being among the best live electronic acts in years. Right up there with Daft Punk's Alive 2007.
The moment I found this live album I thought about how there are only two bands that I feel have live albums rivaling their studio, Daft Punk and now Flight Facilities
nostalgia is a most beautiful form of pain. I hate listening to the music like that because there's so much beauty that it makes me cry. But i love it.

6:05 I get the two emotions of a "crying" feeling, but an overwhelmingly joyful feeling too! Like this bit would work so well with a climatic scene from an ending of a Disney movie. Like a coach leading an underdog little league baseball team winning a championship after they had to overcome some unique struggles.. if you catch my drift. Cool sounds 👌🏽
Words can’t explain the connection this song makes to me. I’m not usually a massive listener of music, but something about Clair de Lune just hits every part of my body. The integration of the music and speech just makes the song better so much. Despite all my friends associating the song with Telstra, I can’t help but associated it with the personal connections of my life, and how it has comforted me at the best and worst of times. Such an amazing song and one that has stuck in me for years and will for years to come

Heard this years ago, and to this day, be it I hear it on Deezer or radio, it brings me to a time when life was simpler, I was happier...

Nearly 2 years ago a game streamer called Reckful passed away due severe mental health problems through suicide. The last song he played was this one. I had never heard of this song before that day, but since then I've listened to both the studio version, as this live version many many times. We will never know if it was intentional for this to be his last song to be heard, but both the lyrics and the beauty of this song makes me believe that it was intentional.
For me and so many others, this song has such extra depth to it, and while most of us never knew him in person, we saw a part of life that many struggle with, whereas others learned about how tough mental health can be. He left us with many things, and 1 of those things was helping us find this amazing song.
Anyway thank you for this song, and thank you for this amazing performance, every single one of you on that stage did a fantastic job!

I was thinking the same thing. I just wasn't feeling this one.
Few performances have ever been this modest. I see showmanship but no where near too "showy". Too beautiful perhaps, but certainly a most enjoyable show. But I know what you mean there are too many shows where performances are a bit over the top. She was just given a brilliant peice to do who anyone would appear too "showy" doing. Hopefully one day I can see everything in a certain perfect light without judgement.

Is it just me or are the xylophones and vibraphones a half beat too slow? You can kinda feel the crowd trying to get them to go faster haha but they’re def watching the conductor.

AMAZING. This may very well be the best live recording of any song I've loved enough to make the effort to search for on here. It brought chills up and down my spine, and my heart felt like it might burst. She performed perfectly and genuinely. And I love that an orchestra played a part

I guess I am in the minority but when I hear Brooke talk to the audience it comes off as extremely contrived. It's really a shame because the orchestra is incredible.

I really loved the performance, and I love the passion she has for the song, but her addressing the audience always kind of grates on my nerves when I watch this. I love to see phones lighting up a stage but the way she went about it wrecked the tone the performance created.
