  • For years now, the role of the tester has been the topic of discussion and debate. The way we develop software in the age of Scrum, Agile and DevOps appears to have shifted the tasks and responsibilities associated with software testing for some us. Competitive markets demand a shorter time to market, without impacting quality.
    James Bach:
"In this talk I will give you a breakdown of the dynamics of roles and actors, and how they intersect with the problems of testing. The dynamics provide an agenda for talking about the testing role (or any role) no matter what sort of argument you want to make. We need clarity on what we are really talking about, here. After that, I want to apply this model to show how the role of testing might change to meet the economic and technical challenges that lie before us."

Except there were no samurai females .... as you said they were "Onna-Bugeisha ("female martial artist")" - just females(usualy samurai wifes) that got martial training in some weapons .... mainly to defend the homes of the samurai.

this person makes very little sense. Only thing I learned from him is how to market: blog, vlog, youtube videos, write books, join conference and give talks.
