About 6 years ago I was literally laying naked on a cold cement jail cell floor withdrawaling from heroin. I spent a week in that state and I got through it singing your songs. From the time I discovered you in high school to modern day being a recovering addict and mom, your songs have given me a wonderful way to to connect and praise the Lord. I genuinely thank you for that. You are such an incredible singer and an astounding song writer.

I'm a straight, 57 year old white rural guy who grew up in a family of believers. I found your music a really long time ago before you came out and I was blown away. I fell in love with your music and you as a person. I wasn't really aware of your coming out when it happened, or aware of how you were treated by "believers" because of it. All I knew was that I loved you and nothing would change that. But I can't understand why anyone would change their mind about you, or how they could have claimed to love you and then reject you? My opinion on the gay/straight topic is my opinion and it doesn't have any effect on how I treat people, respect people or choose to associate with them. We all have the same rights and we also all have the same responsibility to respect the rights of others. Keep being you Jennifer, I'll always be a fan of you and your music. God Bless You.

Jenn thanks for a life changing performance, i first saw a live show of you at a small church i forget the exact location i used to have a poster, and another concert when you were opening up for jars of clay and the newsboys, i begged my friends to save their money so we could go and see you, and your show was amazing, your songs were nothing but comfort to me after i lost my grandfather, id sit in my room and blast undo me and scream at the top of my lungs until i lost my voice, and i thought god hated me so much that he just wanted to see me in pain, whatever the reason years later i shed my snakeskin of a mask and stopped believing the lies i was telling myself, im an atheist now and by my own choice, when you came out about being a lesbian i couldnt but could believe how disrespectful the quote children of god werent receptive of it, it dosent matter, whatever god or no god that made everything including us, if he had so much love would ever condemn like that.
I guess i just wanted to say thank you, im almost 40 now i started listening to your music in my early 20s and i still love every song youve ever wrote, thank you for writing Undo Me and Breathe On Me, there were days i felt useless unless i played them and had a good cry, keep being you and never change a thing girl.

You have an awesome voice and love your acoustic guitar playing. Your lyrics sing to my soul as if you have known me forever. A true blessing to me. A loyal fan on a journey with you.

It's my dream to one day own the Chicago Bears. Upon taking ownership of the Bears, my first move will be to announce the artist who will sing the national anthem at the season opener, and that artist -- if she says yes -- is the incomparable Jennifer Knapp!

side note, streaming live on twitch even playing replays of your performances can be very useful, you can leave a schedule in your twitch description saying when you will be live to sing or just chat with the fans. its better than youtube and facebook in my opinion.

Insight into your writing/ recording process...As an acoustic fan, it would be nice to see how other artists are laying down demos or whatever. Just a thought

I want to hear a new album and I know it will be great. I still keep tabs on J. Knapp, because I know that she will continue to put out good music.

Dear Jennifer, so sorry seeing you like this. You´re so gifted. And you were such a blessing for me and many others back then when you still fought against sin and impurity and tried to figure everything out with the help of Jesus Christ. You had the strongest message and your songs true meaning. But you have given into lust and sin instead of being open about your real struggles. I´m so sorry you didn´t choose living through it with the help of the Lord our highpriest who knows all of our temptations. Pray you repent, will be born again and live for Christ. It´s not too late. You´re life would be of eternal value. You still have a kingdom to gain...

Why don’t you seek why not everyone holds a traditional view of The Bible instead of assuming the worse?

    • @judithbatke3169

@@AaronSaltzer Christian faith is based on facts delivered witnesses. Their testimony is passed on in the Bible. If one doesn´t have a "traditional view" of the Bible, someone doesn´t have the Christian view but his/her own made-up belief based on personal feelings towards right and wrong. Nothing could be more far-out from truth.

@@judithbatke3169 a lot of the early church fathers were heretics, so we can’t always go by what they thought: www.wayoflife.org/database/church_fathers_a_door_to_rome.html. There are numerous denominations of Christianity and they don’t all believe the same thing so no one is better than the other. The fact that there have been numerous translations that don’t always agree on everything proves that. Everyone interprets The Bible differently so we shouldn’t believe something just because someone else does. We should go by what we believe God is showing us through his word. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that message... you can't "love" a person based on what seems fitting to you. You love a person for their soul connection, which by the way, evolves (yours, mine, hers, everyone's?). Perhaps you meant "like", instead of "love".
