The innocent-looking pulled pork sandwich is loaded with unbelievably spicy 'Showdown Sauce' (including a pepper paste clocking in at 9 million on the Scoville scale). This is insane. People have gone to the ER from just taking a toothpick size lick of that mad dog plutonium. I’ve had something in similar heat units and was on the floor for 2 hours. Needless to say my toilet exploded hours later. This man is a legend

Got my own little flask of plutonium No. 9 this week. The toothpick has an insane kick, but I still like it better than having your whole mouth covered in a less spicy sauce

You can genuinely see the fear in his eyes. Adam talked on Hot Ones how a restaurant owner nearly killed him because of how much extract they dumped in compared to usual just because it was him. Credit to Casey for actually going through with it.

Ive watched so many spicy challenges and/or man V food episodes and this is the first time I've actually said "what the fuck??" Especially when he puts an ENTIRE bottle of mad dog extract in the sauce.
the real challenge comes after the food when it becomes man vs.toilet! XD!!

I agree. Adam was better at the big volume of food challenges but he rarely did heat challenges and when he did almost always failed. Casey does mostly heat challenges and kicks ass most of the time.
I agree. He does seem to have a bit of a higher heat tolerance than Richman. Loved Richman as the host but this guy is doing more than good enough to keep me watching the show also. I wanna see Andrew Zimmern take on some of these challenges.

I've tried a small pinky finger worth of that mad dog sauce and it destroyed me, almost sent my ass to ER. How this guy ate that whole sandwich is beyond me lol

It is. It's completely uncreative, lazy, and gd unnecessary. The Showdown sauce sounded absolutely *delicious* until the extract showed up.

@Asherah 1147 "with every different kind of pepper represented" at some point, even adding a pepper as hot as a habanero is actually going to dilute the ghosts/scorpions. Hell, a pure mash of the scorpions might actually be hotter than what the challenge sauce ends up being, even with the extract, so that extract might actually be "necessary"

When I saw him whip out the Mad Dog to add to the sauce, my first thought was "Oh....shit.....". Then he added the entire damn bottle, and that thought changed to "Wait, that's....that can't be legal, can it?"
I know I’m late on this but I honestly haven’t heard of the mad dog extract stuff or the pepper they come before this but I’m just curious now how much say a normal amount would be taken
@@nickgoldrup4314 Typically you would only use drops of extremely spicy extract. A whole bottle is overkill. Probably ruined the flavor.

It doesn't work like that they don't add to each other, the total scoville rating for the combined mixture is the product of the scoville rating of each individual ingredient divided by that individual ingredients volume contribution to the total mixture, like if it was just 2 ingredients of the same volume and one was 500,000 scoville units and the other was 1,000,000 scoville units then the resulting combination would be "(500,000 + 1,000,000)/2 = 750,000" scoville units.

@@chupacabraracing181 yes and adding something else with say 2mil scovs doesn't make it add up to 11mil, it doesn't work like that. If you had a glass of booze that is 60% alcohol and you mix it with another glass of booze that is 30% alcohol you don't end up with 2 glasses of 90% alcohol, you end up with 2 glasses of 45% alcohol.

Casey can handle spicy challenges very well the only spicy challenge he could not handle was that burrito challenge but he only had 5 minutes for that, besides Casey is a little better then Adam at spicy challenges just not other challenges I guess but respect to Casey for winning a challenge %90 of people could not win 🌶🥵
