I didn't want to miss this video - what I got for Christmas. It's a classic and whilst I know they can be a bit in your face, I hope I filmed this in a way to show you a few of the lovely gifts my husband treated me to this year :) But mainly, I tell you about a special gift we gave to the family, which is so sentimental to us! Plus come along for a girls weekend in Hampshire - we love these few days away to catch up and put our lives to rights - I hope you enjoy coming along with us!

Note to Alex - I can confirm as someone from Northern Europe that yogurt on pancakes is definitely a thing! We even used to have pancake cafes where you would pick different toppings including different flavour yogurts 🫶🏼 mystery solved 😂 sending you love guys xx

I’m so happy you’re putting your own happiness first. I’ve had a similar battle earlier in my life and have only recently been able to do this financially. I’m so happy I did it. Take time to breathe aswell. Relaxing and doing nothing occasionally is good for the soul.🙏🏻💖

The national parks are just incredible. One of my favs was Zion National Park in Utah. Don’t go in the height of summer as the temps are so high and the desert heat is something else. Hope you all have the most wonderful time, such a wonderful gift ❤

In 2023 I lost my ability to work, drive, and lost everything that made me “ME” because of my health and we found out it was Multiple Sclerosis. I had to get real about the meaning of my new life because it is gonna be a different future than I’d planned and seen for myself. It’s always good to sit back and evaluate.

The 3 states you have picked are just breathtakingly beautiful. My one suggestion is do not wait to the middle of summer to go. Utah and Arizona are blistering hot during the summer. Not to mention, the enormous crowds of people in the National Parks.

Yes summer would be too hot. Mid-fall would be best, with better temperatures and fewer crowds, and before snow.

@@VictoriaMagrath and Nevada is quite hot too. One hint Nevada the way Nevadians pronounce it - the first a is pronounced like apple and not apologies. I lived there and was quickly corrected…. I highly suggest the Tahoe/Reno area and the loneliest road in the US (US Highway 50).

I know you didn't mention it, but you are so close to our state, and we have so many beautiful places in the Rocky Mountains that I know all of you would enjoy.
My fiancé and I went on a Route 66 road trip, we drove from Chicago to LA over two weeks and it was the most amazing experience. We would do it again in a heart beat. You and your family Viktoria are going to make memories that will last a lifetime time.
We booked with a company called American Holidays and they organized absolutely eeeeeeverything for us so I would highly recommend them.
