Wow, what a fabulous find, One of the McGuire sisters dated FS around this time! It is nice to hear a 60s spin on a WW2 classic!

    Great WWII song…I remember B. Manilow had a Top 40 with a remake .

The late Julius Wetcher & The Baja Marimba Band (Julius on vocal) also did the remake (from late 1969 "Fresh Air" album).

Sweet. Parents recall when their teenage children weren't even a twinkle .. though perhaps already a promise. Then they look about the house: Suzy is out shopping for wedding dress accessories, Bobby is talking 'the' girl from school to the Prom, Ginny's outdoing the boys at baseball, and Tommy makes wonderful dresses for Ginny's dolls ..
    Confused? You will be ...
    What an era.
