Thanks to Scott Mills. The first year he got involved with Eurovision, he did the usual British thing and didn't take it seriously, but then it seems everything clicked and he came back the next year with a great understanding for how it actually works and why the UK has been lagging behind everyone else. Since then he's been championing everything Eurovision, giving songs airplay both before and after the contest, and the whole year round, talking it up to make people understand what's great about it, and also it seems to me he was the heavily involved in headhunting Sam Ryder last year. Graham Norton still doesn't get it, though, and it was very noticeable when Scott did commentary for the semi-final and Graham for the final last year. We don't want witty put-downs of songs that have funny costumes or other elements that the commentator doesn't like. We want to know something about the act, the meaning of the song, how they got selected, and other such things and then we can make up our own minds, thank you very much.
She needs to change the high note at the end but it sounds much better than her earlier performances. I hate the dance routine and hope they revamp the staging
Mae is beginning to sound much better. Pity the sound systems at these pre-parties aren't great. The singers with more powerful voices sound better because you can hear them more easily, but Mae's gets swallowed up by the background noise. I think she'll sound terrific in Liverpool.
2:31 ooh, the bridge is different here! "I choose how to live my life, took the rocks and made a fire." I couldn't pick up the rest, but what I heard sounds so badass! You go girl!!
Here you go :D This is what I hear, I think it sounds correct.. Look into my eyes, She's feeling good she feels alive, I choose how to live my life, I took the wrong I made it right, Don't let nobody make you forget who you should be, You're powerful, you're all you need, Work it baby, come with me.
Hi there, I'm getting in touch from BBC's The One Show; we are making a short film following Mae Muller's journey to the final, which will follow her through rehearsals, fittings and performances on the way to Liverpool. This will broadcast on a One Show special just before the Grand Final on BBC 1. I wanted to check in to see if we might be able to use this footage as part of our film? We are more than happy to credit you. Look forward to hearing back. Anna
Nah, the sound engineering is on polish national final level, but you have to be a 5 year tone deaf child with broken vocal cords to be on the Blankas level.
Honestly this song is such a BOP. The crowd singing to the UK?! 2 years in a row we’ve sent great songs. It’s so good to see the UK BACK!

I'm very sorry to say that your comment aged like milk :(
Sadly not. She couldn’t sing a note in Liverpool
I was obsessed with the dancer on the extreme right, closer to the camera, for a while, and still am somehow 🇵🇹👏

Even if it was true, Mae at least can dance, while Blanka is like a piece of wood on stage.
