With the right staging, this can really stand out and get the party started! Honestly? Winning isn’t important for the UK. Picking an up and coming pop star with a current song and pushing her to reach new career highs is the most important thing; that’ll massively help future upcoming artists take this contest more seriously and start seeing it as a launchpad for bigger success rather than the career suicide it would have been about 5 years ago. Hmm I don't know. I like the song, but as you said it seems too run of the mill. He was just selected because his uncle is a rich Greek selling yaghts. His uncle's daughter (his auntie) is a person doing nothing in her life, just showing off her father's and husband money and being maniac about publicity. It is clear that he was selected due to her connections and pressures. It's the most horrendous entry, we've ever sent. Absolutely. It’s actually the first upbeat song the UK sends in years that actually sounds like something produced for the radio. She’ll have to deliver a sickening performance to go with it though, as that’s usually when most acts with bops flop.
Ehhh, it's okay...but it's also another industry pop song. Hopefully the live performance spices it up and it's not just her standing there with some dancers frolicking around.

I've got a feeling that no matter how many points this earns at the euros that it is going to be a massive tune all over Europe
Better hope so! I wanna be at work in my country and hear this song on radio over and over again 🥳
I think it will be a massive hit around the world... absolute tune!
@@paulwelbourne6296 This song is boring.
@@bigsmoke394 Thanks for your opinion. It's wrong, but thank you anyway.... de de de de de.....
@@paulwelbourne6296 Explain how this song is creative? All I hear is a repetitive mess of a song, if you think this song will get her anywhere near first place then you are dead wrong.....
United Kingdom didn't came to play at Eurovision Song Contest this year 2023 they really want to win Eurovision Song Contest and bring the trophy home. 12 points from France to UK
Well they won't win
I still think this is catchy as hell 🥰🥰
UK in the Top 5!!!
Fantastic Song!!!
UK and Mae: WELL DONE!!
I LOVE THIS SONG
This song is a club banger perfect for the night clubs and it's an international hit everywhere. What a masterpiece. Her voice is so powerful. Mae Muller can succeed Katrina and the waves. 12 points from France to UK
This is far better than the live version
Totally agree
La meilleure chanson du Royaume-Unis de toute l'Eurovision !!! 12 points de la Belgique
Thank you 👋
Nah Sam was way better than this
Your song is good also definitely a vote from me, good luck 🎉
😂😂😂
She can PERFORM live. She supported Little Mix and was able to get the arena going, great choice from the UK 🎉 such a BOP!!!
She is nothing different unlike Sam lastvyear she won't win
Wow little mix ❤
Nothing wrong with her, but the actual song they've picked is awful. Maybe it's a grower? That needs to be heard a few times to grow on you 🤷♀️
No its not a bop, its not a good song and will do nothing there!
Aaaaaaaaa this yt is so toxic... so many people in "their dreams"! Guys be realistic sometimes even if you like!!
@@esccse30ever learned about a little tiny thing called…. Honest opinion?
it's refreshing to see us start stepping up to Eurovision
This is a massive step down!
Eh. Eurovision doesn't represent anything - too politically charged in the past, doesn't make one iota of difference in the grand scheme of things in the world.
Sam Rider was your Anuk
Yalls junior eurovision song was worlds better than this
@@aldo_0000 why use 'real'? you can't just go a second without satisfying ur need to be transphobic 🙄
I love this song!!!! Love from Israel ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I feel it that it might be a summer hit I can see it playing at the summer greek clubs. UK well done greetings from Greece
Greece’s entry this year is poor. But the Cypriot entry is very worthy.
@@rohansrider You havent even listen the full song how u judge it :D
This is garbage
@@noopnoop1195 oh yes I have. Greece usually has some great songs, but even Greek people think it's not any good, and it will not make it through the semis.
@@rohansrider I'm Greek and I agree, the Greek entry is ridiculous. The singer is a 17 year old kid, poor singer, whom no one knows. On another note, I like the british entry, it's a very catchy song, that I expect to play all Greek summer beachbars and clubs
For me the song sent by the UK is above the song sent by Israel. Last year I didn't like the song sent by the UK. I like this year. This year UK send a song with a very cool vibe. Congratulations UK and good luck!
Didn’t have the UK giving us the boss girl bop of the year on my bingo card, yet here we are.
I would like to say...THIS was and IS far better than this years entry
Absolutely. While both can't sing, her entry was at least catchy.
This chorus is actually amazing. Thats when it catches fire.
Already spinning this banger tune in clubs in the centre of London 🇬🇧 Mae, slay the stage and do your thing. LET'S GOOOO🔥🙌😎❤
SO GLAD THAT UK ARE BACK AND SEND GOOD MUSIC THIS YEAR AND LAST YEAR 12 POINTS FROM STOCKHOLM
We went off the rails for a while but this is a tuuune 😂😂 But also, loving your entry this year!
THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK TO SWEDEN 🇸🇪🇬🇧🇸🇪🇬🇧
I agree!
Well done Mae! May not have been the result we wanted but you did us all so proud!
UK performing last (26/26) in the running order!! Wow!!!
Good, catchy bop. Will definitely be a radio hit, giving Ava Max/Minelli vibe. Can't help but notice that so many songs this year having the same style. Really hope we won't get an opposite effect and get tired of this type of songs. Other than that, good entry. Way to go, UK.
Honestly, Sweden, Norway and Israel stand out the best of all the bops for me, this song is ultra basic, honestly... Looks like a mall tune, lol
And Austria with Poepoepoe, lol
@@tennisradu Norway is way more basic than this
@@tennisradu I agree.
@@renw1094 Honestly, I'm obsessing over Norway entry.
Woww this Is Top 10! Fantastic Song UK🇬🇧! 12 points from Spain!🇪🇸👏🏻
Definitely one of the songs that I will continue to listen to even after Eurovision
This is one of the best songs of Eurovision 2023. Cheers from Germany

@@Jamie-wd3ql Yes, welcome to RUclips.
This is really really good. I’ll be voting for this in the final. 🎉
Sounds better here than in the live performance
Very good ❤❤❤🇸🇪
The performance were a disaster 😭
Okay, I'm pleasantly surprised because it's actually a great song! By the UK's standards over the last 20 years we cannot complain...they're finally making an effort and sending current songs that will do well on the night. Not a winner, but could manage a top 10. We'll done UK
Absolutely. It’s actually the first upbeat song the UK sends in years that actually sounds like something produced for the radio. She’ll have to deliver a sickening performance to go with it though, as that’s usually when most acts with bops flop.
That's because Loreen is the winner 😅
What is it that I’m missing here?
I’ve listened to this and don’t like the amount of cliches in this. Am I missing something?
Ehhh, it's okay...but it's also another industry pop song.
Hopefully the live performance spices it up and it's not just her standing there with some dancers frolicking around.
@@cultfiction3865 i mean, 90% of songs in eurovision are cliche and safe. Its a formula that works.
Super fun!! Will enjoy seeing this in Liverpool (❤️ from 🇺🇲)
Hopefully she slays live with a crazy choreo
She has some of the same team that Chanel had last year
Aaron Pring But she can’t dance, she looks awkward even trying in this video, and it’s not even live
@@AaronPring Wait really? Then YEAH this is going to have some interesting choreography on stage then!
@@gamerboi-ag132 she has also Rosalias choreographer

Did they forget to turn her mic up on Eurovision? Her vocals were very low or just a weak performance.
As a huge fan of the music that comes from Britain, I can say that this song grabbed me from the first second... what a beautiful song and music video, good luck from Israel
Thank you 👋
I have played this song like 15 times just today... I'm totally in love with this song! Great job, UK!
This deserves the win this year. It's truly the perfect pop song balance.
